Johannanita - CONGRATS and big hug

turtle - are you going to Atlanta or the surrounding area? In my opinion it is a great city to live close by to - maybe not the prettiest but there are tons of things to do (party and nature) and of course much much cheaper than out here (CA)

shelby - good luck for you tomorrow - I keep thinking about you.

AFM - I had my ER today - I was so nervous this morning but everything went well. We had enough swimming sperm in the sample to my DH didn't have to go through tese; what a relief :D Positive thinking and praying is everything!!
I had around 25 follies and we got 12 mature eggs out of them - yieppieh. Now I am just waiting for the call tomorrow how well they did overnight.

I am grateful that we have this nice group here which helps a lot. After today I have to admit that I guess we are all very strong and determined women, otherwise there would be no way to make it through all the meds and emotions.

Big hug to everyone - lots of sticky dust/eggs/follies .....to you

Johannanita - BFP! BFP! What a strong beta! Has it sunk in yet?

Wolffie - It all starts with a faint, faint line...what is today's update?

Kiwi - 12 eggs is a great number! I am sure it was super hard to sleep last night and best of luck for a great fertizilation report.

kala0704 - Wow, that does sound contradictory. Wouldn't it be great if you could just get the two doctors together and let them explain it to you? I must have missed it on the much earlier pages, but why are you going through the treatment in Serbia?

shelby - Big day today! Good luck with the ER and let us know how it went after you rest up a bit.

AFM...am still holding out and not POAS. I am 8dp5dt FET and just realized that I don't have my beta until 9/24 - yuck!! I think I was just willing it a bit earlier, but there is NO WAY I can hold out that long. I am hoping to make it through the weekend since we are going out of town to a Michigan football game. All bets are off when we get back though...am optimistic, have all the symptoms that I remember with my DD, and have really started to believe I am PG (cannot even type that word)...just need to prep myself before testing, if this is not our time.

Ah - the 2WW mind tricks!!!

Good morning -

I hope that all of you are having a good day so far. My DH's schedule just sort of exploded for the next 2 weeks, how lucky is he that he will barely be home to deal with my hormonal stimming mood swings? I think he was afraid last time when RE maxed out my meds!

wolffie -You too? I thought I was the only one to put off the salon in fear of another bad haircut. I'm so jealous of you POAS girls! My RE has all his pt take these HCG booster shots after ET, so no sticks for me!

j & c -I think you should make yourself a med chart so you can check off each inj done, its great to have company, but it sounds like you will have a lot of family coming & going. YAY hormones!

kiwi -12 eggies! what a great number! cant wait for the fert report!

bei -good luck with your ET today!

kala -We just cant get around the big drive, can we? fingers crossed for you!

stlgirl -I hope that you are! but i wont say that word either! Have fun at the game!

hugs & PMA for all of us! - xoxo

ER went well. Got 14 eggs and hoping for a good report tomorrow. Me and DH went to Chili's and ate lunch afterwards and now I am going to take a nap. Just a little 'crampy', but otherwise feeling good. I'll check in a little later.

So I am noticing a little Lupron affects. I have to be on this stuff for 3 more weeks. Yuk! I had a bad headache last night. But a hot bath helped tremendously. I also forgot how to spell the name of my DD's school. I knew the name, just couldn't spell it for the life of me. Had to ask my DH, who just laughed and spelled it for me. To be fair, it is a tricky name.

So yesterday seemed to be "shot" day around me. My DD's got their flu shots, which were very traumatic as you can imagine. Also the radio had some DJ's getting flu shots to encourage everyone to go out and get one. These men were such babies about it. One guy wanted a band aid even though he wasn't even bleeding just incase because he was wearing white. Another guy shouted when he got his. I wanted to call in and tell them to suck it up. Us IVF girls give ourselves shots many times a day for many days and you don't see us crying about it. Now this is the angry Lupron side of me to get so worked up about this...but really. It's one little shot!

Shelby-Good luck with your 14 eggs....hopefully they will all make it over night:)

Johannanita-CONGRATS!!! That is so exciting! When do you go in for your second beta?

Wolffie-good luck with POASing today! hopefully that line will get darker and darker

kiwi-any word on your eggs? are you less bloated once the eggs are removed? I can't wait to get mine out of me!!! I can barely walk....

stlgirl-have fun at the football game this weekend and try not to think about your symptoms-let us know if you decide to POAS!

kala-A great book to read when you are in Serbia is A Thousand Splendid Sun or the Kite Runner-I loved them both!

Turtle-AF. AF, AF!! Ha...I used to hate my period and I now I'm chanting it for you

Bei-good luck tomorrow.

AFM....I am kind of freaking out and hoping you ladies can help calm my nerves! I went in this morning for u/s and b/w and my follicles are growing at a nice and rapid rate (my two leading follicles are each 20mm) and I have a bunch 12 and over on each ovary. They originally thought that my ER would be Tuesday and the doctor told me that it was most likely going to be Monday with a Sat night trigger. BUT....my lining today is only 5.6 and I have a past of having thin lining  I am really hoping that tomorrow it will be over 6...but my question is will it keep getting thicker even after the trigger shot?

Also...and I know this is TMI (sorry) but I have TONS of EWCM today and I'm nervous my body is going to ovulate on its own since this is my main symptom when I usually ovulate off the meds. They even had to remove some today at the doctor because it was surrounding my lining (gross-I know). If I had an LH surge before my trigger shot, they would detect that on my bloodwork, right???

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hey Ladies!
Hope you are all having a great Friday!! Congrats shelbyrn0214 on your 14 eggies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (There's 14 !'s, one for every eggie) Yes, I am a total nerd...I know :P

Wolffie and Katie99- now you've got me thinking about a haircut. Last few times I got my hair cut I went to this fancy salon and got a free hand/arm massage from one of the techs, might be time to go back again! Wolffie-has the stripe gotten any darker?!

kala0704-geez that sounds confusing. Are the 2 Dr.'s communicating with each other? GL keeping track of everything.

stlgirl-OMG are you strong willed or what! I don't want to POAS when the time comes either so I hope I can stay as strong as you. Hang in there, the wait has got to be excruiating.

The producer of the IVF show on WE called today and we start shooting next Friday! It sounds like it's going to be just a few interviews rather than a "reality show" but still exciting. It'll air in January.

Later everyone...Have a great weekend and wish me luck with my little growing eggies Sunday!

bei - good luck with your transfer today and lots lots of sticky dust

shelby - 14 that's an awesome number - congrats. I took a day off today because of the cramps, hope it gets better.

Claud662 - my bloating got better when I started drinking the protein shake (muscle milk). after the ER I only feel a little bit bloated but I have cramps every now and then, but it gets better every hours.

AFM - we got 8 embies out of the 12 - RE said it is a good result; statistics say that 75% make it overnight but less if there is a severe male factor as we have. So we hope they all make it until sunday or even Tuesday.

bei - I hope you're doing well after transfer. How did it go? How many did you transfer?

shelby - 14 eggies is AWESOME! How are you feeling? I am looking forward to hearing your fertilization report.

kiwi - 8 is good so far. I hope and pray that they keep growing and doing well!

sancap - I can't wait to watch your show! Did you ever find out if you receive anything for participating?

claud - was the RE concerned about your lining? I would ask him if there is anything you can do to help with that? The thick lining is important to have prior to transfer. The progesterone support will help thicken it.

lisa - so sorry that lupron isn't being very kind to you lately. I hope that the effects start to fade soon.

stlgirl - You have got some self control girl! I could not imagine stopping myself from POAS! My beta was supposed to be on the 25th but I called and moved it up since I've had the positive HPTs. How aer you feeling?

kala - how frustrating with the docs! Hopefully once you get to serbia everything will fall into place.

AFM, I POAS again this morning. The line was definitely darker but still faint. I didn't have to act like a contortionist (SP?) in order to see it this time. I just hope it keeps getting darker and darker. I was supposed to have my beta on friday the 25th but I called the RE office and moved it up to Monday! I pray for a nice strong number!

Good evening! I just woke up from my nap. I kinda felt like I had been punched in the tummy a few hundred times. Things are better now. The embryologist said that she will be calling us early in the morning for the fert. report so I will let you all know when find out :)

Kimjos - Welcome! I hope your shots are going well. We are glad to have your company on the "BFP train" . Any question you have, please feel free to ask away.
