Thanks to everyone for your wishes for my mom. Although her surgery was a hard one (her surgeon said) she is doing ok. Still in the hospital but in a good mood which I am thankful for.
Shelby...thanks for that info on the ICU. It really helped prepare me for when she came out of recovery. :)
Lady J...I am sorry. I am thinking of you.
For all the BFPs ...congrats!

AFM...I emailed RE and asked if I could go in today instead of yesterday because of my moms surgery and he said he thinks it will be ok but he has to check my baselines...blah blah blah. ANyway I went in this morning and got my BW and sono so hopefully he will give me the go ahead to start stims tonight! I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!! I am so lonely on the list by myself under "taking BCPs"!!!!

Sorry for the short personals but I am so behind. Now that my mom will hopefully be getting better I will be able to come on here more.

Prayin - I'm very glad to hear that your mother did well and that things may be going good for this cycle. HE works in the most wonderful way!

Stats
- 75%!!! That's great! Will you have a 3 day or 5 day transfer? You'll have your BFP in no time!!!! When we are both prego, we could meet halfway in Manchester and have lunch! That would be so cool! 8)

wollfie and malya - CONGRAAAAATS - I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

bei - I am still in bed and not allowed to get up and I don't know how I will make it through the day. I am feeling sore all over :-)
How long was your bed rest? where you allowed to get up? DH makes sure that I stay put.

Today we will know how the other embie's are doing and if we can freeze some of them - keep my fingers crossed.

shelby - good luck with your transfer
my beta will be Oct 1st but that seems so long until then.... I would like to know right away. the weird thing is that you don't feel anything and there is no way of predicting if it worked or not :?

michele -why don't you ask your RE's office if you can bring Ella and have her wait in the waiting room and the receptionists can watch her? It only takes an hour and it might be worth asking.
good luck for your transfer

LAdyJ - I am so sorry - there are no words for that. the cleanse might be just the right thing to do.

AFM - hanging out on the bed and hope the wait will be over soon

Hi girls -

I'm doing the happy dance today! I just got back from RE, and there are 4 follies at 13mm & 2 at 11! Thank you everyone that told me to not freak over my AFC, you were right! So far there is no dominant follicles to ruin another cycle for me! also my lining is at 7mm with a triple stripe! Its still early, but so far its looking like this cycle will go to completion for a change! I'm waiting for them to call now, to see if i can start menopur & ganirelix. OK guys, is there a "no lead follie dance"if I need it. lol

wolffie /malya -CONGRATULATIONS!!! MOMS!! :D

johannanita -lead the way for us, dolly parton!

shelby -I hope that you end up with some snowbabies too! I've never had any, but I'm always hopeful! when is ET?

sangria -How did it go? trigger today?

stats -3 fert is a 75% rate! thats fantastic! :D

michele -After all the waiting for us .. sticky sticky thoughts to you my friend! in 2 hrs you'll be PUPO!!! :D

rayofsunshine -watch that BP! GL with reg doc tonight! grow those follies! I've got my fingers crossed that some more pop up for you!

j & c -Good luck with your SNS, I always giggle at that one! Grow follies Grow!

Katie99 - I am so happy to hear that! I bet you still have time for a few more follies to pop up :) I'm hoping this will be the cycle that I end up with the beautiful kids that my clinic encouraged me to cancel on!

teachermom, shelby, katie - I am thrilled with 75% today! I just hope a couple can go on and make some pretty little embies for a fresh transfer!

shelby - We won't know until tomorrow if we are doing a 3 day or a 5 day, just depends on what our little fertilized eggs are doing by tomorrow. A 3-day would put us at Thursday and a 5-day would be Saturday. I'm hoping for a 5-day, since that would put me on bed rest over the weekend instead of this week, especially since I already had to miss Monday for ER. The clinic did say if we have to do a 3-day with one fresh, they can still transfer one frozen that day. We made it to a 5-day last time, so we are hopeful we could make it this time. So tomorrow is a big day for us as far as finding out exactly what we are doing for the rest of the week! We are SO on for lunch if we both get the BFP's!!!

Sorry all...the end of my post got cut off. I'm not sure how it posted before I was finished typing. I was going to say that I hope to see my second beta in the 300's. My progesterone was only around 14 yesterday. I'm not sure if that's good or not. I forgot to ask but the nurse didn't say anything.

Well, I'm thinking of all of you!

Wolffie They like 20 for progesterone, but 15 is OK and you are close. If they didn't ask you to up the dose, I wouldn't worry.

By the way...has anyone seen Aunt Flo? Because she is not here yet and I am waiting for her to get this party started!!!

Hey Wolffie!
I can't wait to hear your beta results either! As for the progesterone level, that doesn't sound bad. Some clinics like it above 10, but mine wants it above 15. I will have mine checked tomorrow before transfer and if it's a little low the nurse usually has me take an extra pill or 1.25 ml of PIO instead of just 1ml. I'm kinda getting worried though. The embryologist and I have a very good relationship and she usually calls me in the mornings to give me my update and I still haven't heard from her. there were some issues yesterday about fragmentation and I hope they make it. She said there was about 5-6 ones that still looked good yesterday, but it makes me wonder about their status today. Oh well. Guess I'll go take a nap to pass the time and hopefully I'll wake up to a ringing phone. I've sent an e-mail, but I just hate to call. If I don't hear anything by 4 I will.

only 2 follicles; cycle cancelled

Post by dearvijai »

Hi Friends,

This is first time I am writing in this forum. Our IVF cycle was cancelled since only 2 follicles developed and there was no response to stimulation form one of the ovary. Next is what the RE has said will be flare protocol and we are hoping that sufficient follicles develop. In the meanwhile I would like to ask if anyone has any tips on what might help for adequate follicles to develop. We have 3 weeks from for our next cycle so we will really appreciate quick reply.
