neffi-so sorry to hear the sad news. don't give up. just like marya said, october is right around the corner.

so our $1000 check for freezing embie cleared this morning, which i'm thinking the freezing was successful. otherwise they would've returned the check to me....at least that's how i understood it. who knows!

i go in for my beta saturday morning & get results later that afternoon. i'm so freaked out. im on pio injections right now & has anyone had severe hot flashes with those? i had a superbad one & my students this morning thought i was insane...haha.

Hi syanna - Welcome to the board! I hate all of the needles too. I totally understand. Honestly, the Lupron injection is nothing. I don't think any of them are even sort of painful until you get to the PIO (progesterone) shots. And only a few of the PIO are semi-painful, and I think only b/c you're giving them in the same general area. For all of the stomach and thigh injections (I do all of mine in the stomach - wait a minute, DH gives me ALL of my shots b/c I'm a big shot weanie), I ice for about 5 minutes beforehand. You won't feel a thing. Let us know how it goes tomorrow night.

yea!!!!!!!!!!!! Got the call from REs office this afternoon. I am officially stimming! Finally!!!! 3 vials of Bravelle and 2 of Menapur to start tonight and tomorrow then BW again on thursday. Feels good to get started...can someone move me up?

Lots of good news to improve my PMA though - congrats to all the new BFPs!
I am jealous of you all; I want to start talking about my betas and stims and lupron headaches...I hate waiting!


Am waiting to get my Pap results updated before I can start - was supposed to go on Thursday but the office had to reschedule. I almost lost my shit right there. So now I wait some more until Tuesday & hope they can get the results in time for me to start the October cycle. Grrr.... ...I mean PMA! PMA! PMA!

Thanks for the replies! Im having my husband do it, but sadly, I dont trust him with sticking needles in me! I cry when getting an IV...and even a prick on my finger for my cholesterol check hurts me. I hope it is okay. I guess I should be more worried about the trigger shot huh? I will let you guys know if I survived in the morning! thanks!!

I survived my 1st shot this morning! Not as bad as I thought. The area is a little red and I have a small bump, it's kind of itchy and a bit stingy afterwards... is that normal? Do u ladies know about how long I would take Lupron?

Syanna - this itching and redness is totally normal. I was on Lupron for a month. Glad you survived!

Bei - I don't take the Estrace, but I do take the PIO and Prometrium and I don't have that kind of reaction. Might want to let your clinic know about that.

Wolffie - I'm with you about the 2nd and 3rd betas. They are more nerve wrecking than the first!

OK, I had a dream last night that on the same day that I had my transfer, most of you were there with me having yours on the same day! The office staff didn't call you by your real names, but by your screen names! It was so real! LOL! I don't recall dreaming about the IVF process the last times so maybe this is a good sign

Okay Shelby,

I can't stand that no one is appearing under the "Taking BCP for IVF" column, so please add me there. I am strating stims for my second fresh IVF cycle on 10/2. 1st cycle in August ended in a chemical. My RE is changing things up a bit this month so we are hoping for a better outcome!

I have been reading this board for awhile now and can recognize some of you ladies from before. It is nice to be back on for some much needed support.
