Thanks for the kind words and success stories on the 3-day transfers. We transferred 3 embies this morning and left one in culture to see if it makes it to freeze. We still have our two frosties from the last cycle, so that was good news. So here I am, PUPO!!!

Our first beta can be 10/5, unless we want to put it off until 10/7. The 5th is our 3 year anniversary...wouldn't that be a great way to celebrate?!!

I've called my clinic and my progesterone # is 36, not sure what that means but she said it was high and that for sure I should be off the shot. So I guess all is well, next beta is tomorrow and they will wait till my beta is over 3000 before they do the first ultra sound, but thats what they are telling me today, it does seam that they tell me something different each day. I guess I'll do what they tell me.

Johannanita - I know you're excited for next Friday to get here. I have my beta on that day, too. Guess I will start the POASing on Wednesday!

Malya - That sounds right. I was due to stop the PIO on the day after transfer, but I will stay on it thru the first trimester because my insurance covers that and not the suppositories. 36 is a good number. My clinic is happy with anything over 15. Good second beta #!

Stlgirl - Any news yet? Waiting on pins and needles!!! :?

Stats - PUPO!!!! So glad your transfer went well this morning. I hear you about the celebration and anniversaries!!! Ours is on 10/1 and the beta is on 10/2. PARTY!!!!!! Are you going to POAS?

Kristy - Awesome u/s results! Congrats!

Sangria - sorry to hear about your cyst, but glad it doesn't seem to have given you a problem. 17 eggies  ! SWEET! Relieved to hear that you are feeling better. I had some problems the first couple of days after ER, too. Fill us in on fert. report when you get the call. Enjoy your day off!

Prayin - how are stims going? Is your mom recovering well?

Jenn913 - I know that we have so many ladies on this thread that is can be hard to keep track, but I keep the basics on the list (which is on page 71 right now). I repost the list about every 5-6 pages or when a new beta comes in. Again, great to have you!

Kiwi - That's it...think POSITIVE thoughts  . I'll help you out!

J&C - Hope you are feeling less irritated soon. I had a bad day 2 days ago. I just had to walk away and bite my tongue. That is so hard to do sometimes! Enjoy your family visit! LOL about your dream! Isn't it funny the things we "think" about in our sleep.

Moorebaby - isn't the wait for beta brutal? I'm already wanting to POAS!!! I wouldn't stress too much about having no symptoms yet. Just wait til after your + beta, then the fun starts!

Miyaya - You are describing how I started to feel about day 7 of stims. I went in to the office on my next appointment and told them I felt like the stinking Easter Bunny  !!! Good luck for bunches of eggies!

AFM - I am still chilling in the recliner. My boobs are sore and I've had a little mild cramping. I don't really expect too much more for the next couple of weeks. Got the call this morning that they are definately going to freeze 2 embies, possibly 3. The embryologist says she is so much more impressed with these embies than the last ones. So much so that she is planning on freezing the embies singly because she is fully expecting this transfer to work. WHEW! That makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside! :D DH is being incredible! All I have to do is act like I'm about to ask for something and he's already getting it :). He's so good to me

On a different, not so good note, we found out last night that one student and 2 teachers have been confirmed to have H1N1 @ my youngest 'bonus' son's middle school. They were removed immediately and are still @ home now. DH is taking both boys to get the regular flu shot today. My work will provide the H1N1 vaccine in mid-Oct. and I'm still on the fence about getting it. Until then, we are having the boys strip in the mudroom, put their clothes immediately into the washer and go straight to the shower. It's not a guarantee they won't get it or bring it home, but it can't hurt. How are you ladies handling the threat of this virus? I'm not extremely concerned because I've always had a pretty good immune system, but if it gets too risky, I'll be 'moving' in with my MIL temporarily (she just lives right next door). She and I get along very well and she's a good cook  ( now I know where DH got it)! Hope everyone has a great Thursday and I will check in later.

WHOOO HOO!! :D

I just came back fron u/s & b/w - guess what! my ER is tentatively set for Monday! I'm so excited I cant type straight! This morning my follies (still just 5 follies though)
are 3 at 17mm and 2 at 18mm and its only day 8 of stims! This was a huge surprise since on Tuesday there were at 13mm. That means that this time, I'll stim for just 10 days? Unheard of! I'm a slow / poor responder! I think it might be the best cycle for me so far! OH - and also, remember the nurse who handed me a donor packet at my baseline? Well she was the one to call me today, she said "I didnt see this one coming" Next time lady, think before you crush someone by handing them a donor packet out of the blue! Oh, karma! I've never stimmed for a short time before, usually I'm the last one, then get cancelled! Oh, please let this mean that these are good follies!

Sorry but cant do personals right now, I'll be back later - hugs -xoxo

I'm still waiting things out. The 2WW is enough to make you bonkers!

Johannanita - next Friday will be here before you know it.

Mayla - Your body is taking charge... that's a good thing.

Stats - PUPO!!!! Glad to hear your transfer went well... you will have so much to celebrate on your anniversary.

Kristy - Awesome u/s results! Congrats!

Sangria - let us know about your fert. Fingers crossed.

Kiwi - I will pass some positive thoughts your way.

J&C - It's easy to get irritated. I was a wreck a few days ago. We have to remember that it is NOT our fault.

Moorebaby - this wait is tough. My beta is Monday -- but I think I am going to POAS today. Are you going to POAS?

Miyaya - Good luck for lots of eggies!!

Shelby - thanks for keeping all of us organized on here. Keep us posted on you, too!!!

Does anyone know how important it is for it to be the first pee of the day when you POAS? I'm curious because i want to do it this afternoon. Or should I wait? My beta is monday. ET was the 13th. Advice?

Thanks ladies... good, positive thoughts all the way around!!

HI all,

just had my blood work done to check on the progesterone level.
First beta will be oct 1st. nurse wanted me to switch to the 2nd but I don't want to wait a day longer.

Finally the bed rest is over and I could take a long nice shower. That felt so great :-)

Lots of love and luck to all of you

Just a quick note: The fert report is not so good. Of the 17 eggs, only 8 were mature, and only 4 fertilized. While that's kind of a bummer, I just need 1 embie to make it. I'm cheering on all 4 from here.

The crazy part is that they will call me on Saturday to either
1. Come in for a transfer that day (3d)
2. Wait for Monday if all 4 make it to Saturday and are looking great (5d)
3. Try again next time.

Oh boy. I can't wait for this call.

marya I don't think it is very important. Just don't do it after you drink a bottle of water or fill your bladder for it. I heard it is best if you do it after not going for a few hours, but you don't have to wait till morning. I did mine at 6pm. I was going to wait till morning, but just couldn't and got a positive. I couldn't watch it, so I don't know how long it took to change. The next one I did w/ first in the morning urine and got + in about 30 seconds.

I think ghost said to wait until about 12 to 13 days past ER. But I am not sure.

My advice however is not to put too much wait inot a POAS. You can get false negetives and in my case a false postive which was devastaing.

Hey!

Sangria- Good luck this weekend or Monday! FX for you!!

Mayla- If it helps any there was a study done that pretty much stated PIO does not help much more than the Estrace and Crinone. In fact my RE has stopped doing the PIO unless it was drastically needed.

Kristy- Yay for your first U/S! That is a great heartbeat! Fx for you!

Statsgoddess- that would be an awesome anniversary present!! Good luck!

Shelbyryn- My daughter got the flu vax and is going in for the booster vax next month. I am also on the fence regarding the H1N1... I read that it was not tested on humans and that they basically just assume that it will work because it is based off of the regular flu shot! So... I'm undecided.

Katie- yay for a Monday ER!

I just got back from my RE, I start Lupron tonight. I had the water sonogram done to check my uterus, they did find something that was borderline possible polyp, but they think it will be OK to go ahead with the cycle as planned... so I guess I will start stims at the end of next week. I'm just really looking forward to getting off this Ovcon 50 that I've been on the last three months! I take my last pill on Sunday! I also found out that it isn't a full GA, it's more like a twilight as well... I guess the difference is they don't have to intubate me and I'll only be out for 15-30 min depending on the number of follies.

It's official: we have 2 snowbabies! She didn't freeze the 3rd because it did not make the changes that it should have made. So we are very happy with having that many. :D

hey ladies!!!
Thanks for all your thoughts and well wishes! We made it here safe and sound. I have been thinking of all of you the last couple of days. This is the first site I went to to as soon as I could get on line. I havent even emailed my family yet! lol!

I got here safe and sound. We had to explain the sperm deal like 8,000 times. Many people wished us luck. One flight attendant even gave us a bottle of wine! I got here last night and have been exhausted.

We had are appointment today with RE. Everything went well and she spoke english pretty well. I had some bloodtests done that they required and the US did not. And they did an U/S. She said everything looked great and I will be ready to start stims on Saturday!!! Yay!!! I will take 125 units of Gonal-F and cut lupron to 5 units. Then I go in for bw, u/s on wednesday. I am so excited to get this show on the road and I feel good about the docs here.

I really missed ya'll. I am still praying for each and everyone of you! I am so excited about all the progress everyone has made. And for those dealing with bumps in the road..PMA PMA PMA to you!
