Hi Karling and Amanda,

At last, I started the the Primolut tablets on 30th August and I'll be starting the nasal spray on the 10th September :D . Hopefully, no cancellation of the cycle this time! Excited but very very nervous at the same time. Hope things go to plan! When are you starting Karling? Amanda, how are you and how's the twins? Hope your DD is better now.

Hi everybody, I got very excited when i read your posts. I felt very lonely and decided to join u :) My DH has balanced translocation so we had tried two PGD cycles. at first cycle just one blastocycst had been transfered but could not survive. second cycle, we could not get any blast:( for the third cycle, since we changed our insurance plan they denied our case(they just pay for PGD but not IVF which is stupid) and we are still waiting for a reply to our appeal. they wanted us to try 3 or 4 IUI cycles at first and then if we cannot succeed they said they can pay for the IVF. I don't know what will happen next??? it is very depressing :(
Best wishes to all!!!

PS. sorry for mistakes:oops: english is my second language. I hope it was clear! hehehe

Hi Brook,
Sorry to hear about your 2 unsuccessful cycles and hope your next cycle will bring you a BFP

I started my stim injections on Monday and I'm so excited :D. Have a blood test tomorrow which I don't know what it's for but think it's to check the hormone level

Wish you the best of luck with your appeal.

Karling, haven't heard from you in a while. How's things going?

Amanda, hope you and the twins are well. Bet they are more hard work now :)

Thx Bighope2009!!!
I hope everything is gonna go well during your cycle. I crossed my fingers for you
they are running blood tests and doing ultrasound to see how you respond the injections. later, they will start to count your follicles.

Be positive! It helps a lot!

best wishes for you guys:)

Hope - we are on almost the exact same schedule. I started my stims on Tuesday. My bloodwork and US is on Friday. I hope everything is going well. What stims are you on? Let me know how tomorrows apt goes so I know what I am in for =)

Welcome Brook! I am glad you joined us, but very sorry to hear that the last 2 cycles didnt go so well. Hopefully the third time is a charm. It is BS that they would pay for the PGD and not the IVF. I was told that sometimes the insurance companies dont understand the process and that you need to do IVF to get to PGD. Sending good vibes your way for the appeal to go well.

Hi ladies, sorry I haven't been around but I've been feeling so tired as I had to go to London for a blood test every day in the last 6 days! We would have stayed there if we had known we needed to make all those trips but it was after they got the blood test results every afternoon, that they decided whether I needed to go the next day or not.

I had my first scan today (day 7 of stim) and I have 15 follicles on each ovary!! Too many, I know :( . I'm really concerned about hyperstim now especially after my doctor rang this afternoon and asked me to reduce the dose of one of the drugs .

I feel very bloated and uncomfortable - am drinking loads of water as I am constantly thirsty! I also have lower back pain. I don't know anymore if that's normal or not!

Karling, how is it going? I'm taking 2 injections every night, one is called Menopur and the other is called Gonal-f. How about you?

Brook, hope you are well.

Big Hope - Sorry it has been so long. How are you? Did you make it all the way through cycle? I ended up getting 12 eggs at ER, 8 fertilized, all were biopsied and set to PGD, of them only 2 were uneffected and still growing. They implanted both on the 7th and I had my first Beta today. 638! I am so excited. Really hope that it doubles on wednesday. Thinking about you and hoping all is well.

Hi Karling, I've been thinking about you and checking if there were any posts from you. Congratulations on your BFP :D :D so pleased for you!

I got BFP too  ......that was on Tuesday. I had 20 eggs at ER, 18 fertilized, all were biopsied but unfortunately none of them was non-affected....... 10 were carriers (either my trait or my DH's), 3 affected, 3 with no diagnosis and 2 with a missing chromosome. We chose the carrier blast of top quality to be transferred and that was done on 10th October so you are 3 days ahead of me

I had my Beta test yesterday and will get the result on Monday. A bit nervous about it to be honest  My first scan is going to be on the 5th November. When is yours?

Brook, hope things are going well for you. Keep us updated.
