Care to share your thoughts? If not an innocent mistake, then are you implying this may have been on purpose?? Why in the heck would they do that? Or were you thinking something else?

I meant we might have an innocent mistake plus something more. That extra something would be the intent to cover up the error. That crosses the line from incompetent to unethical.
It also makes me wonder how they were going to deal with the problem of the couple having two more frozen embryos than they were told. Would they have been disposed of?
Of course, it's speculation, but I hope they check into why the couple was not notified immediately. The timing is suspect.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Still no excuse for what happened, but I just read that the embryo owners maiden name was the same as the wrongly implanted woman. I am sure that will be given as a reason for this mix-up.

I figured as much.

I guess they had the baby... I went to a clinic in MA.... Later my sister-in-law went to the same clinic. When they went in to have the transfer they blurted out someone else's name and they had to say no, we're so & so. Then the clinic said they did have the right ones and that's what the meant.... So I wonder if it happens more than we think.
