moorebaby - CONGRATS Mommy!!!! I am so happy for you and your BFP

Katie - miyaya - good luck with your ER tomorrow. Lots of nice eggies

marya - GL with your beta - keeping my fingers crossed

sancap - wish you a very nice fert report. I also had 12

johannita - what a scary night - I am always nervous to see anything. If you can't stop thinking about it you should just drive to the RE and get your scan so you have an ease of mind. (don't know if it is far for you but I probably couldn't wait to know it 100%) But I guess we are all panicking with a slight change, the nurse knows what she is talking about and would have asked you to come in if there would be anything unusual.

malya - we are also on the "no sex" rest. I read on the website of a Chicago clinic that it "shakes up" the uterus and that should be avoided :-)

bei /shelby- how are you doing? I just cant wait for Thursday it is constantly in my and DH's mind. But he doesnt want me to POAS. I have to work on Thursday so we were thinking about taking a half day off and then have them call us at home. I don't want to be called in the office in case its a negative - but PMA it won't :?

kala - the RE also recommended us the donor sperm as a back up but luckily we didn't need it and so do you. They just want to have tons of backups so that worst case a cycle isn't wasted. We also had tese as a backup - do they offer that for you as well? In most of the European countries the restrictions are much tighter. I think donor sperm and donor egg are not allowed and you have to be married, here you don't.

ash - your embies might have fertilized late but they are strong and showed their will to be transferred. I guess some of them don't like the dish environment and the uterus is the best place for them where they have the best chance. I keep my fingers crossed for you.

AFM - all I can say is that I am waiting for thursday to come and wish they would already have a little ultrasound microscope invented so they could see right now if they have implanted or not.

**WARNING - super long post ahead**

Hello Girlies!! It's great to see family and I love them dearly, but it's also good to see them leave. :D I'll be glad to get the house back in order tomorrow. I'm feeling crummy today. Not horrible, but not great either. I was originally scheduled for a SNS today, but due to my slow growing follies, my appt. was moved to tomorrow, so I'm hoping my follies are progressing. I would LOVE for them to say that I need to trigger tomorrow night, but I'm guessing it will be later in the week. I'm just trying to be patient with PMA. Emphasize the word "trying".

I'm jealous that several of your RE monitor your progesterone levels. With mine, you are on the PIO shots and the suppositories until your beta. If you're pregnant, you stay on it for like another 6 weeks so including the 2ww, you've had 8 weeks of PIO shots and suppositories. There is no monitoring to take you off of it. My hips have never been so sore. Of course, if you're on the PIO that long, it also means you're pregnant. Boy, what we have to go through.

karling - Glad I'll have someone with ER at the same time.

katie - Hey girl!!! I am so excited for your ER. After 4 cycles, you soooooooooo deserve it. I can't wait to hear about the # of eggies!! GL Monday morning.

syanna - I'm with you on still not being use to the needles. This is even my second IVF round, and I still despise every single one. UGH!!!!

sancap - Whew-hew on your 12 eggies!!!! Can't wait to hear the fert. report tomorrow. I can't wait to see your show!! I'm so glad you're doing it. You're going to help so many people.

miyaya - I think my last E2 level was 191. It keeps going up, but of course it's not stellar or anything. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Michelle - SOOOOOOOOoooooo glad someone else is on the POAS marathon. I'm determined to only POAS the day before our beta, but I just love those ladies who do it every day. I can't wait to hear about your first positive!!!

kala - So glad everything is going well for you in Serbia. I'm so with you on being tired of needles already. Ugh!

rayofsunshine - When will your IUI be? I'm still praying for ya!! :D

moorebaby - CONGRATULATIONS MOMMA!!!! :D

wolffie - Can't wait to hear about your u/s on Thursday. So very exciting!!

malya - Yep - we're on "pelvic rest" until the first pregnant u/s.

sangria - We transferred 3 last time, and we have 1 beautiful DD. We'll see what we have to work with this time, but I would transfer 3 again in a heartbeat. You're PUPO!!!!

johannanita - Thanks for dancing for me! :D With my pregnancy, I would have a twinge here or there and be freaked out that I would m/c. My sister has had 1 m/c, and she kept telling me - "you'll know when it's a m/c. There is no mistaking the awful pain. You're perfectly fine." After that if I wasn't in a lot of pain, I tried to relax. PMA until Friday!!

marya - GL with your beta tomorrow!! Can't wait to hear your wonderful news!

akowens - I'm so sorry you've had a rough week. It's so hard when you don't feel like you have a chance. Just remember that it only takes 1, and you have 2 chances. PMA!!!

Prayers are being said for all!!! :D

Sangria – I love that you already say you love your embies. That just makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I say the same thing!

Malya – I wouldn’t worry about the orgasms…just enjoy them!

Sancap - I can’t wait to watch the show. You have to let us know as soon as they tell you an airing date. Congrats on 12 eggies! Wishing you tons of fertilization and growth dust!

Johannanita – from everything I have heard, the experience you had is pretty normal. If it is accompanied by severe bleeding &/or cramping, I would definitely jump in the car and go straight to the RE office. You’re hubby sounds like he has a good sense of humor!

Karling - "I eat too much....I drink too much....." How was Dave? As DH and I went to my aunt's on Friday, I popped in a DMB CD and turned it up! I hope you had a great time!

Marya – GL on beta tomorrow!!! Fill us in ASAP!

Katie & Miyaya– GL with ER tomorrow! Praying for lots of eggies!!!

Kala
– I agree with Katie. It must be wonderful not to have to pay the price for meds as we do in the US for this procedure. Saves some mullah! How’s hubby doing? I’ll be he’s happy to spend some time with family.

Akowens
– I am sorry things didn’t go as you expected, but you’ve got 2 fighters right where they need to be….with mommy and that will make them so much happier! WE are very hopeful for you! When was your transfer and did they tell you when your beta is?

Kiwi
– don’t blame you about the taking ½ day off. I’ve already told my work that they may or may not be able to get us on Friday. Hopefully we will be out partying instead of the alternative. That’s right….PMA PMA PMA!!!! I love your microscope idea!!! That would be great!

J&C – LOL at your heading! I’m right there with ya about the family. Great to see them come and great to see them go.

2010 – Any updates after your consultation?

Jaydentd – Are you excited about stims? (I’m sure you’re saying, ‘yay, another needle). LOL! One step closer!!

Kimjos2000 & M2b1106 – haven’t heard from you in a while. How’s the Lupron going? When do you start stims?

Prayin – How are you?

AFM - still doing good. no twinges today so I hope that means they have both dug in already. My clinic advises no sex for 1 week after ER. Well it's been over a week and DH is the one saying to be patient! ARG!!! Oh, well. I see his point, but you better believe I'm going to ask about it again when I have labs drawn tomorrow for my Prog. level!

Hi to all. Seeing lots of good news here on the Message Board. I am stimming right now. Had my first (day 3) u/s and bloodwork yesterday. All looks good so far. Seeing lots of follicles waiting to be pumped up! ha! Also, has anyone had a sinus reaction to Follistim? That's my only issue right now...terrible sinusitis! It's a 5% side effect...and of course that's what I'd get. I'm not wanting to take anything for it as I'm afraid it might through off my system. Steaming in warm bath seems to give the mnost relief (and relaxation!). I'm sending everyone positive energy!

Good Morning Ladies! Just a few personals...

Moorebaby- My CT friend! I didn't get a chance to say congrats yet! I am so happy for you and I am hoping for big numbers at your second beta. I am not sure you saw my last message, but at which school do you work in milford? I will probably send you a pm later.

marya- Good luck today, we will be waiting for good news for you...try to keep busy, it will be the longest 6 hours ever!

karen- yay for stimming. Hope that sinusitis goes away soon.

shelby- my clinic told me no sex until after my beta and if I remember correctly when I got a bfp with ella, it was no sex until after seeing the hb, and dh and I waited even longer than that we were so nervous!

j&c- my clinic only montiors progesterone to make sure you are getting enough, they would never take me off of it, my clinic keeps up on until 10 weeks pregnant. And the poas marathon, I am on once a day for now, but it will increase to at least twice a day as my beta nears or under I see a stupid second line on one of them!

kiwi- I am in the same boat, I just want to know...my dh told me I should have offered to pay the lab tech as a side job today to add hcg to the prog/e2 check, and I told him it was still too early to detect, and then he asked why I was doing hpt's then, and I thought..."touche!" But I just rolled my eyes and said because I want to, it's fun. hehe...we all know its not fun, I guess I hope it was an early implant or twins and the test will be positive so I can not torture myself for the next week.

katie- good luck at ER today! I have everything crossed for you and hope you get a basketful of good eggies!

AFM- I went this morning for progesterone and e2 check. I am sure they will call me later this afternoon with results and I really hope crinone 2x a day is sufficient b/c I really do not want to have to switch to PIO shots. My poas marathon continues, today was day 3 of test strips and still negative. I am 6dp3dt, so I am really hoping wed/thur I might see something, but of course I know it is still too early. I won't start to get upset until thurs/fri if they do not change, but it really does peck away at the pma everytime your see a negative, I really don't know why I torture myself.

I still feel optimistic though. I feel like I have had some symptoms. I know pregnancy symptoms can also be progesterone side effects, but I started progesterone 3 days before my transfer and I didn't have any side effects until this past saturday which is perfect timing for implantation. My bb's are a little tender, I am having some discharge, I am a little bloating and have had some cramping, and yesterday I even saw the slightest bit of discoloration when I wiped (sorry TMI, but maybe from implantation blood?). So I am hopeful, but of course, I was last time too and it didn't work. But I don't remember these small, subtle symptoms last time. So we shall see. I will post later after I hear from the clinic. Talk to you soon.

Hello everyone! I feel like I have been gone forever! I check the board constantly- but have trouble finding time to respond. I'm with you all in thoughts and prayers always. Just a few quick notes:

Moorebaby- CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! I hope it's contagious!

Rayofsunshine- I'm so sorry to hear your IVF cycle was canceled. I'm praying for your IUI.

I'm praying for everyone at every stage- ER, ET, stims....

AFM I AM STILL WAITING FOR AF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My cycle was canceled on 9/13 after 9 days of stims. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for AF to come after cycle is canceled?? HELP!!!

Good morning all! I realize when I take the day off work I can't help myself-I check the board early and often to see how everyone is doing!

Moorebaby-Congrats! I'm so glad you got your BFP and I'm sure you'll see perfect #s on the second BETA!

Teachermom-Thank you for the support. I'm not too hopeful about the IUI but I am trying to stay positive and believe I can have this miracle. I was in the same boat waiting for AF. My body over-suppressed and I didn't start for a really long time. My RE actually made me take a PIO shot and prometrium to start AF. I started two days after starting the prometrium. It is frustrating waiting but that is what IVF is all about :)

Katie-I can't wait to hear how today went for you! Lots of eggies!!!

Michele-It is the constant waiting that can be so hard! Lots of PMA to you-you'll see the second line soon ;)

AFM-today is the IUI and I'm trying to stay positive. In addition to me being a low egg quantity/poor responder, my DH has low motility/low count. Our last IUI we had less than 300,000 count. I am praying for more super swimmers! I know it only takes one-let's hope my DHs wheaties did the trick this morning (he,he). It amazes me what I feel comfortable sharing with you all-no one in the "outside" world would get this!

Keep the faith :) Lots of PMA, prayers, and wishes for all!

akowens - You hang in there. My RE is hanging on to my embie that fertilized late in hopes that it will grow to become a frostie. Aside from the fact that it fertilized late, it seems to be quite fine otherwise. Your body is a much better place for those embies to grow than a lab. Maybe they just need to feel you and your love to grow.

CT_Michele - I am sooo jelous. I would do just about anything not to have PIO shots right now.

J&C - Thanks for sharing your story! It is exactly what I needed to hear. I am hoping for the same result. (Again the support here is amazing! I get all misty eyed.)

Johannanita - How are you doing? I hope you are feeling better after your scare. I'm sending you happy baby vibes from here.

kala0704 - My RE would not have let me transfer 3 perfect embies and he would never transfer 4 no matter what quality. I'm not sure if this varies from clinic to clinic, but my RE seemed to pale a bit at the mention of Octomom or John & Kate. Hehe.

karenthescorpio - Sorry you're having a bad reaction to the stimming. Hope you feel better soon.

katie99 - Wishing you luck!

kiwi - oooh. U/S microscope would be awesome. I think there's money to be made there.

marya - Good luck on the beta. Post as soon as you can.

moorebaby - Big fat congratulations to you!

sancap14 - Congrats on 12! Fingers crossed for good fert / growth!

shelbyrn0214 - I was told no sex for the entire 2ww! Funny thing was last night I was watching the tv show Medium with DH and that episode starts out with the husband trying to convince the wife to have sex because of all the endorphines (sp?). They repeat this discussion 4x in the show because they keep repeating the day until they get it right. That's not what I needed to hear right now.

teachermom - Waiting for AF is torture! I like to think of it as nature's meanest joke. Hang in there!

AFM, my left butt cheek is so sore from the PIO shot. All the rest have been fine. It hurt so much it woke me up in the middle of the night and I'm walking funny today. I have never been so in touch with my back side before.

I don't think I'm going to POAS until the day of my PG test or the day before. If it's negative, I want to have my moment in private because I can tell you, it will be bad. Until then, I'm just going to be in denial that a negative result could come from all this. Is that PMA or mental illness? Maybe 6 of 1 half-dozen of the other?

Hey Girls!!! This is a long one...
Just got my fert report! 8 eggies fertilized!! Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!! She didn't give me any specifics about them but she said that 3 of the 12 were immature, 1 degenerated, and 8 fertilized. I think my next report is in a few days so we'll see if all 8 keep dividing and prospering!! Keep your fingers crossed for me :D

Sangria- Ouch. those shots sound painful. I'm with you on the POASing, that sounds like a good plan. Everything has gone so perfect with this cycle for me I feel like something has to go wrong...nothing is ever this easy for me so I will be on the cautious side as well. GL on your beta results-lots of sticky dust blowing your way!

rayofsunshine- Lots of luck to you today, I'll be praying that your DH sends in his highest trained calvary to storm throught that follie wall and fertilize the heck out of that egg. Go get em guys!!!

teachermom- geez, wouldn't you figure when we want AF to come she takes her time to get there, when we don't want here there she sticks around as long as she can. I'll do an AF dance for you too and we'll see if that helps! GL finding her.

moorebaby- PMA PMA PMA- your 2nd beta will be a big number, don't worry and can't wait to hear the news!

CT_Michele-from what you explained re: your symptoms...it sounds promising to me! I can't wait to hear your news too!! BFP comin your way!

marya- You must be going crazy right now! GL with your Beta # BFP BFP BFP!!! I know I was anxious this morning jsut to get my fert report so I can't imagine how you must feel! Hang in there.

karenthescorpio-Sorry to hear about your sinus reaction- I haven't had any sinus reactions but I didn't take follistim. That must be really annoying and concerning with it effecting your system and all. GL and I hope you feel better soon!

shelbyrn0214- Your fert dust is working!!! Keep blowing it my way pleeeease:) The show doesn't air until January so I'll probably have to post a new thread to get everyone's attention...keep a look out for it in January though! There will be some really interesting stories on it...they interviewed this other girl who is 23 i think that donated her eggs because her sister had a baby boy through egg donation and she couldn't imagine not having him in her life so she did it as a tribute to him...there are some really amazing people out there!

J&C- Stay positive and grow follies grow! Your trigger date is just around the corner I can feel it! GL at your appt. and I hope your sore hips start feeling better...it'll all be worth it in the end. I just keep thinging this is all getting me ready for the big day...all the pain we experience, it's getting us redy for the pain of child birth!

kiwi- after you told me last night that you had 12 follies at ER I was on here all night trying to figure out how may of your fertilized but couldn't find that update...obviously you had some good ones so GL with your Beta Thursday, you must be going crazy too...hang in there!

Katie99- GL today!!! Can't wait to hear about all the wonderful follies you've harvested! Your in my thoughts:)

kala-you are so sweet, thank you. I hope your follies grow strong and healthy. GL in Siberia lol i mean serbia and can't wait to hear wednesday about your u/s results!

Johannanita- that is hilarious about the trick or treaters lol. You are in my thoughts and hopefully all is normal and I can't wait to hear your Friday report!!!

GL and ((hugs)) to everyone!!

Michelle - I had to laugh because you are the POAS queen. Hoping for a BFP for you.

Katie99
- Hoping ER went well and you have lots of good fertilized eggs. Congrats on making this far this cycle. After I was canceled twice I was so ecstatic when I heard the words "we are going to get you ready for retrival.".
