Hello Ladies - I had another SNS this morning. I have several follies on both sides, but my largest only measured at 15, several others at 11-12. So we're growing, but it's just taking FOREVER!!! I just can't believe that even though we started this cycle on double the meds as the last that it's still taking this long (stimming for 11 days now). Oh well, what can you do? So I keep up with the shots (oh joy) and go back again on Wednesday for another SNS.

I also have to mention that I lost it at my appointment this morning. It took them 3 times (which has never happened before) to draw my blood. After the first painful stick (and I just LOVE needles), I just started crying and couldn't stop. Good grief. I guess I needed a big-o cry, b/c that's what I did, right there in front of all of the nurses *sigh* Nothing like leaving RE looking like a pink headed chicken who's been bawling.

marya - I am so, so sorry. It's not fair, and there is nothing that can be said that can help the hurting. You are in my prayers.

karen - Welcome to the board!! I've not had a sinus reaction to the follistim.

michelle - LOL...you go girl on the POAS marathon. Love it!!

rayofsunshine - I'm just praying that all of your cheezy movies and rest is the perfect situation for your embie(s) to get snuggled in. I'm praying that this is your time.

sancap - WHEW-HEW to your fert. report. 8 embies is awesome!!

shelby - CONGRATS!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!

katie - So excited about your 3 eggies. We'll pray that all 3 fertilize. Let us know how you're doing/feeling!!

kala - AF for 3 weeks?? YIKES!!! I would be tired of that too. Here's hoping that you're done with AF immediately!

miyaya - I am so sorry. That is totally disappointing!! Hopefully those 2 eggies will be perfect and grow, grow, grow!!
Me and DH - 37
TTC - 7 years, PCOS and 1 blocked tube
IVF #1 w/ICSI...DD born Oct. '08

Well girls, a glimmer of hope in the poas marathon this morning. When I say super super super faint, I mean it! My dh couldn't even see it and I think at the end he just said he did to make me feel better. It was not even colored, it almost looked like it could have been a shadow of where the second line is supposed to be, but in the past three days I have looked hard for even that and have not see anything on those strips, so for now, I am just hopeful. I still have 16 of those suckers left, so I am likely to test again today and at least a couple times a day until I see a definitive line. No need to get excited yet, I just wanted to let you know that your prayers are working and to keep them coming! Btw- I am 7dp3dt and there is no hcg trigger in my system since I didn't take one.

Michele - Great news! I'm still gonna be excited for you!! It'll just keep getting darker as the days go on! I took another one @ 2am (only 12 hours after the first) this morning and I couldn't tell any difference in the darkness, but I am highly likely to test again later on today  !

Hey guys, sorry I have been MIA since Friday or so. I don't often get on the internet much over the weekend and it's been crazy at work this week.

Marya - My heart is breaking for you as well. I think most of the ladies on this board know the pain and you are in our prayers.

Katie - I only had 6 follies and they got 4 eggs - all fertilized and we transferred 3. You can still be fine with 3 eggs! I hope to hear a great report today!!

Shelby- Yay!!!! That is awesome!!!! I bet you can't wait to hear the numbers on Friday!!!!

Miyaya - OMG, I can't believe that is happening to you! I hope the absolute best for your two eggs and that you can move on this cycle.

J&C - Grow, grow, grow!

CT_Michelle - I'd say a faint line is still great at this point! LOL, your POAS marathon cracks me up. DH is pushing me to start one, but I haven't caved yet - I think it's still too early anyway, but he is saying I should to make sure the HCG is gone. As long as I stay out of a store, I don't think I'll cheat, but if I happened to be somewhere...well, I just might cave :)

AFM, I am 5dp3dt...I had some cramping Saturday afternoon (Day 6), but other than that, absolutely nothing. I feel pretty good, actually. Sore bb, but that can be progesterone. So, I don't know what to think. I have my progesterone check today...last cycle I was low and they upped me to 2cc PIO, which was a real pain, so I am hoping for better numbers today. Beta Monday morning at 8am...the wait is nearly killing me. The only thing distracting me is there has been a lot of drama at work this week, so it has kept my mind occupied during the day. Eeek.

Does anyone have that chart of what the embryos are doing each dpt? I thought it was posted some pages back, but I couldn't find it when I tried to look back. I might have just not gone back far enough.

Hey girls. Thanks for being so nice and encouraging. Thankfully the anesthesia made me sleepy yesterday so I was able to sleep versus stew. Yes, they could not find the actual vial. Of course I have no recollection of them taking my blood since they did it while I was still out cold. My nurse called last night and they said they usually do not give fertilization reports....well...I told her I needed one on the morning. With 2....come on...I need to know my chances and make decisions as to how to proceed. I have not heard from them yet.

DH and I will do another cycle. My insurance will over one more but after that, if we have to borrow money to do it, I think we will put the money into adoption. BUT one step at a time right?

Well I have to call into my staff meeting but I will write later. Take Care....and whoo hoo on great beta's! I am psyched for you girls.

Here is the chart of what happens after transfer.

This is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

===========

This is what happens in a 5dt :

-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

Thank you everyone for your kind wors regarding my imaginery/almost invisible second faint line. DH wanted me to pee again already (within an hour) and I told him i would probably do it this afternoon. Who would have thought I would be the one saying no! Shelby...it is really hard to determine when it will get darker, it could be hours, it could be 2 days, since it is impossible to know when you actually start secreting hcg into the blood. With my positive with Ella, my first pee on christmas eve morning at around 8am was a negative and I did another at 12 and I got the faint line, so you never know when it will happen. I just hope later that I at least see what I saw this morning again, so I know it wasn't my eyes playing evil tricks on me. If it is for real, that will be awesome not to have to endure days of negative tests like last time, that was sooooo emotional.

CT_Michele - Congrats! A second line is still a second line, no matter how faint! When I POAS this cycle, the first one was so light I thought my mind was playing tricks on me - and DH didn't help when he said "what line?" But the next day there was no mistake. And I'm sure the same will happen for you. Isn't it just the most amazing feeling when you see that second line?!!! Prayers are with you!

Yay katie!!!!!! I'm sooooo happy for you! You are so lucky your ET is thursday, I wish mine was Thursday. I will pray that your beautiful embies divide and conquer!

CT_Michele- Thank you for the chart! It'll be exciting to keep an eye on what they are doing! I remember when I was preggers before, I signed up for something similar through webMD and every week it would e-mail me with the development of the embryo- it was fun to get that! Keep us posted on the POASing and sending darkening dust to you now!

J&C- Great news re: your follies- just late developers is all...I was a late developer too...didn't get boobies until I was like 16yrs old, my AF either and I turned out ok... I think :P Grow follies grow! So sorry to hear about your blood experience. I'm normally ok with needles but three times would have definately been a problem!

Bei and statsgoddess-Good high number beta dust blowin your way, I don't think I will have the guts to POAS either...hang in there girlies!

miyaya- So glad you are not giving up! My fav quote is "life is what happens while you're making plans". We have planned everything out the way is was "supposed" to be but as we know too well, things don't always work out that way. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and your/our time will come. You are a tough cookie and you got this!

AFM- I started my Progesterone suppositories yesterday but didn't realize I was supposed to start them yesterday morning...and I did it last night...oops! I did my second one this morning and I'm not having my transfer until Friday so I think I'll be ok...what does everyone else think...I'm ok right? Should I be worried?

To all of you POAS ladies -- When I got my positive on a POAS I was curious also. So what we did to sorts confirm our suspisions was we went out and bought one of the Clear Blue Easy test that actually say PREGNANT.

Just a thought.

Good luck to all!!!!

CT -- I'm watching you girl.
