ttc 9 years. 38 yrs old, dh 8 hrs younger!First IVF in Aug 2002 and had ectopic.2nd IVF neg.3rd FET and negative.4th FET and positive but sadly lost our little boy at 20 weeks.5th FET and Alice Isobel and Emily Charlotte born 5th Aug 2004!
Sam should be fine with calpol, you just reduce the dose if they're under 3 months. It tells you by how much on the bottle. If you're unsure though ask the nurse or the gp......I'd hate to give you bad advice! Dan's had all 3 lots of injections and was fine after each one, he was a little quieter than usual for the first couple of hours, but that was all. So with any luck Sam might be one of the lucky ones and not have an adverse reaction to them.
The worst part is when they have the jab, but thankfully it's over quickly. My daft Mom came with me to offer support, but ended up staying in the waiting room crying! Don't know why she thought she be of any help, as she used to make my Dad take me and my brothers for ours.

Thanks Sue - when I read the instructions it told you just to give the half dose. Well, we're back from the dr's and it's over,,until the next time. Steve had to hold Sam as I couldn't bear to, but he did well and didn't scream too much!
Sam was weighed too - 7lb 6 - 10.5oz bigger than last week! (should flaming hope so, he's been feeding on & off for an hour and a half sometimes!!!!
Tracey - you spend girl!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like your weekend was reasonably chilled - GOOD!
I hope Shell won't mind me posting this but I don't want you all to worry about her. She posted on another site (May-b-baby) that she's quite busy with things at home and so won't be able to get online much for a while.

TTC 5 years. Daniel & Charlotte born 22.03.02, 1st ICSI treatment. TTC for 4 further years. 2nd ICSI cycle abandoned, 3rd cycle BFN. Looking forward to being a happy family of 4.
I am still here but just ain't been around much sorry for not offering support, Jules I don't mind you posting hun I do want to try and keep in touch with everyone the best I can but I have just had some problems that needed to be sorted and I am trying to get back on track.
Zoe - I read about Sam with his weight this is brill I bet your so pleased and I am glad he's had his jabs as well, when's his next lot.
Alex got to go on the 28th April for his next lot of needles, and he was weighed last week and he is now 13lb 14oz.
Been off line fro a bit, so am only catching up now...
Shell - hope your problems are now sorted out - you sound like you're having a time of it.
Sam is now 8lb, so he's catching Alex up!!! Steve finally got to buy one off those BabyBjorn carriers so he's happy! (Sam had to be a minimum of 8lb!!!) His jags went ok although Steve had to hold him as I couldn't He had a wee bit off a temperature, but otherwise was just narky for a few days so that was a relief.
Good to see you back on line I was wondering where you had got to.
Great to hear that Sam is doing so well. A good weight now isn't he?
I hope Shell is OK. She has been quiet for a bit too.
I'm going on holiday to Lanzarote next Thursday so quite excited about that. Af reared it's ugly head last night but on the positive side it means my body is getting back to normal. Seeing consultant tomorrow so we should start the ball rolling hopefully soon for the 4th tx.
Take care Zoe, big hug for Sam.

Good to hear from you. It's terrible isin't it, that you worry hen people are not on all the time!! I was up North for a few days visiting my mum, but came back a little earlier as it's like WW3 when some of my family get together
Your holiday sounds just what you need - I can't remember the last time we were away...what's the sun???Not often seen up in Scotland. LOL. I'lll want to hear all about it, so I can dream and visualise!!
I know what you mean about your AF coming. At least it's now and not when you are away which would have been more typical...and IT IS good that your body is 'getting back to normal' - although I know you'd wish it wasn't having too. I hope things go well with the consultant - I'm sure it will and just think how relaxed you'll be when you come back from your hols and start.
Certainly will hug Sam for you, and anybody. LOL I think he smiled this morning.
I ain't been on the site since the 9th of April is that bad or what, I don't know where the time seems to be going to be honest. I have eventually got on tonight because Lee's taken Alex to his parents for an hour. I said I was going to do the hoovering but chose to come on here instead.
Sam is doing so well with his weight its great mate, Alex weighed 13lb 14oz 2wks ago but due is next lot of injections the 28th of this month.
How is Sam sleeping now during the night?
Have you tried him on any solids? I have give Alex Rusks he didn't like them at first but now he is ok, he doesn't have them everyday its just when I can't seem to fill him up.
I was getting worried about you. You hadn't posted for a bit and I actually emailed Tracey asking her if she knew if you were OK. Glad you are and it's great Alex is doing well
