mjay- Yay! You got it :-) Go Bears indeed! Wow, the second week in a row that they pulled it off at the very end. Seeing the heartbeats is definitely a huge weight lifted off your shoulders, isn't it? I go in once a week and I get so scared the day before until I see the heartbeats again. How's the OHSS doing now? Has it gone down all the way? I do take my vitamins in the morning because I actually feel pretty good for the first few hours in the morning. I think that my vitamin actually gives me another nausea-free couple of hours each morning.

Welcome Gal, Wolffie, hope4two, pink83! This board is definitely growing fast!

Pink- Did you have IVF done ? I wasn't sure what you meant by your statement.

Gal- It must be really scary having a doctor give you that news. I've heard A LOT about people's HCG numbers not doubling fully and they go on to deliver healthy babies. As long as the numbers are going up a decent amount, I think it'll be okay. My doctor's office actually told me on the message they left me that first day with my beta numbers, that they wanted my numbers to go up by at least 60% in 2 days. I thought that was interesting. The fact of the matter is, some people's just don't double in 2 days. Once you see the baby in the ultrasound, I think they say that the HCG numbers don't means as much. Especially if they see a heartbeat. I'm no doctor though, so that's just my two cents!

lw- Yes, a ton of multiples on this board. I've been reading up on your board too (because with twins I think i'm actually due in April) and I saw that you're the only one on there with more than one! If you would like to start a multiples board, I'll certainly join you!

Allie- Wow, more triplets! This is amazing that there's three people on this board with the same exact situation! I mean, what are the odds? Congrats to you!

AFM- Nothing new here. I see my doctor on Friday, so I can ask lots of questions. Every week when I go, I just see the tech and the doctor reads the results later that afternoon and they call if there are any problems, but I haven't talked to her in a few weeks. I have to start writing down my questions so that i remember! For those of you with twins, are you seeing a regular OBGYN or a high risk doctor?

Mjay - Yeah! The ticker looks super!

Pink - Good luck on your beta! Can't wait to hear your numbers!

Allie - Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Seems like this should be called May Multiples. ha!

Gal - Seeing the heartbeat is the first huge hurdle, and you've made it! Yeah!

Hope - Congrats on the heartbeat; nice and strong!

Happy Wednesday!

Faith9455 wrote:Fitz-Did you see heartbeats? We did and it made it so very real. They measured 6 wks 1 day on the day of my scan. I'm also scared but trying to be optomistic. It took a few days to not be shell shocked. Let me know if you'd like to chat we can exchange numbers. Not too many people in the world going through the exact same situation. Take it easy and realize this means you'll have 3 babies to love, just sooner than planned!

Faith and Fitz Congrats!! A good friend of mine had IUI and got 2 identical and 1 fraternal. All BOYS! LOL They are sooo precious and triple the fun. She's quite busy, but still gets out to the zoo, the store, and everything all by herself, with the boys. They are 1.5 years old now. You'll figure it out as you go and find short cuts to everything....like she did. Good Luck and Congrats!

Congrats to all the new mommies! :D

pink83- good luck today! the worrying has just begun...

fitz, faith, and allie- you ladies are my heroes! like tammy said, you all will become the most efficient, organized, multi-tasking women in the world!

jg- thanks for the ticker help . i am trying to get into loyola's maternal/fetal (high risk) medicine department. my RE said twins "aren't that high risk," but i just want to work with docs who are well versed in multiple gestation, preterm labor, etc. b/c God forbid if something did go wrong i don't want to be waiting around for an appointment. that book we were talking about recommended it as well. what are you eating? well, when you are able to. i'm ALWAYS hungry. i was just eating my lunch early and as i was eating it i felt hungry!

gal- my first beta was 1070 and the second was a little more than 1800, so it did not double. no worries until you have to.

cheryl- where are you and how are you? i noticed you posted happy wednesday and it's barely noon on tuesday where i am.

gi- i'm sorry, i must have missed the scan. sooo glad that's one less thing we have to worry about.

lw- illinois is having a lot of babies this april/may. definitely interested in multiples board, but would never leave my May 2010 group! but like jg, it is not unlikely that i could deliver in april- but i hope not.

ohss update- almost completely gone. i look like an ass b/c i was forced to tell people that i was pregnant before i was ready b/c i looked about 5 mths pregnant. now my stomach is getting smaller! i did tell people about the fluid build up, but still, i was getting used to my baby bump even though the babies aren't big enough yet.

just found out that my job is going to uniforms. i told my boss that i'm pregnant and he just suggested that i get really big shirts to wear. he's an idiot. he then went behind my back to ask if i was quitting after i gave birth! i had already told him i wasn't. like i said, idiot...

Mjay - I have a SEVERE case of pregnancy drain brain. I spent today, Tuesday (oh sure now I know), thinking it's Wednesday. At least I still know my name.

Moorebaby - I'm sure you will be just fine. Let us know your 3rd number; prayers are with you and the little one.

Pink - How were your numbers today?

AFM, I had more brown spotting (which I know is okay) mixed with really bad back cramps (a little scary), so they went ahead and did another u/s today. PTL - baby is just fine - 126 heartrate. She isn't sure why my back is hurting. Just advised to lay on heating pad a bit and take some Tylenol. Next u/s is in 2 weeks - last visit then I graduate.

Is anyone else having low back pain? It's such an ugh!

aloha :D

had my first official ob/gyn pre-natal appointment . . .
and we got to hear the heartbeat! very cool . . .
I feel so spoiled . . . I have another u/s with my RE next week too!
still have the pesky brown spotting, but no cramps, no clotting, and no bright redness, so I guess it's just a minor annoyance =)

just made my appointments for all thsoe scary tests where they check for birth defects :?

first there's joy . . . now there's trepidation mixed with the joy. . . I want to get back to the joy ASAP! :D

Morning ladies,

JG its great you are getting weekly ckups esp. with twins, helps you relax a bit more.

Mjay typical man asking you to wear bigger shirt!!! I have to wear a uniform too but obviously wont be getting as big as you!!

deftonesmo - its great you got to hear heartbeat you must be bit relieved esp. after the spotting - its annoying i hope it stops soon so you can relax fully.

moorebaby- good luck today with beta, i too had a low hcg but so far so good.

fitzjr11 good luck with u/s today, i hope your 3 little babies are doing great. Will you need a stitch at some stage???

AFM nothing new happening, still nausaus and bit crampy and very tired but otherwise great. Cant wait for 1st trimester to end so we can relax that bit more. Anybody elses clothes getting bit tight??? I have a very small swollen belly that only me and j would notice cant wait for it to get bigger
