My goodness October is going to be a busy month - the arrival of a baby, multiple scans and now two transfers! Lots to look forward to in this group!

Kim, I am so sorry that your second twin didn't make it. I hope that you are focusing on the joy of the one snuggling in!!!

Pauline, what great news that finally something is happening sooner rather than later. That is a rarity in this IVF process. I knew what everyone else seemed to know about our donor including that she had donated twice prior to us and those resulted in live births.

Poohgirl, I'll bet you are getting excited now. You are on the home stretch. It'll be Oct 6th in no time! And 20 eggs is awesome! Can't wait to read about the fertility report.

Gigi, congrats on the super strong beta. Can't wait to hear how many you were blessed with. Hope your sons MRI went well.

Summer, rest up girl. I hope you are getting out and enjoying time with your girlfriends, with your hubby and on your own.

Stef, good luck with the testing. Hopefully your doctor will work something out that helps you.

Hi to Evergreen, Clemo, Hopeful and Carolyn and anyone else I missed!

Things with us are great. I now have two official 1 year olds! Its hard to believe. They aren't yet walking but I don't think it is going to be long now! Last evening my Demi Pair arrived to live iwth us for 4 months. She is a German student who is taking English classes part time and then is living with us in exchange for providing 20 hours a week of childcare. It is a great arrangement. She is really sweet and the kids seem to like her. It is strange having someone living in my house with me though so that'll take a bit getting used to. But my DH is travelling every week right now for work so it sure is nice to have the help.

Better run but I think of you guys al the time and read frequently to get caught up on the news and the BFPs that seem to be popping up regularly! Keep the trend alive!

Gigi - How did your 2nd beta and your son's MRI go? Hope everything is ok.

Summer - Are you all set and ready for bubs arrival?

Poohgirl - Great number of eggs! Not long till transfer, wishing you so much luck and a fast 2ww.

Pauline - That's great that you get to start so soon. Looking forward to hearing how you go.

Kelly - That's great that you have some help. I'm sure twins must be a little hectic sometimes!

Hello to everyone :) .

Hi Ladies:

Sharon: welcome to the board, again. Good luck with your wait. You have 2 older children which is nice too. I'm with you on the "old lady syndrome" sister!

Poohgirl: That is an amazing donor response. You can keep having babies for years on with those eggies. Can't wait to hear about transfer day.

Clemo: Not long for you now. Exciting stuff.

We are getting a scan next week (week early so can't worry about what we see or don't see) because we are traveling for a week before my son's upcoming surgery. Son's MRI was completely amazing. The first one was a misread and it's not a mass on his brain as suspected. Whew. I felt sick for the past several days and withdrew from emails and phone calls. God is freaken amazing! Thanks for all of your thoughts.

Can't wait to get updates on you all.

Sharon, welcome to an amazing thread. Hope the luck continues and you get a BFP. Old Lady Syndrome - I should be CEO of that group.

Poohgirl, 20 eggs is great. How big of a family did you want?

Pauline, mid October is just weeks away. Wow, they are moving you along pretty quickly. Hope your tmt goes well.

Gigi, great to hear about your son's MRI. God is amazing!!

Hope the rest of you are doing great.

AFM, I go for my 8-wk scan tomorrow morning. I pray the one we have left is growing exactly as it should. DH is going with me tomorrow, and if all is well on the scan we plan on telling DS tomorrow afternoon. Then probably everyone else. DH wanted to wait til 12 wks. There is no way, my belly is ridiculous already.

Have a great day,
Kim

Hi to everyone!

Gigi - so happy to read that your son's MRI was so much better than expected! Good luck with your scan! By the time you have your 2nd one, there will be a lot more going on in there!! Relax and enjoy your week away and good luck to your family and especially your son with his upcoming surgery.

Kim - Got my fingers crossed for a good scan for you this week. I am glad that DH will be there with you. I am sure your little fighter is doing well there. Please keep us posted. And, if you are the CEO of the old lady syndrome club, then I'll be happy to be one of your VPs!

Clemo - ENJOY!!! Sounds like you will be coming back just as I am having my baby. Then you and poohgirl and pauline are next in line for your BFPs! Will check in as often as I can to read your stories!!

Sharon - best of luck to you on your 2WW!!! You sound so very positive and that makes such an enormous difference. Sending you even more PMA!

Kelly - Happy Birthday to your twins! What an exciting time! Nice that you have a Demi Pair with you. I am sure the extra help will be a great help in the long run, now that they are so mobile and showing off their little personalities... I also speak German, so if there is ever a need to translate something, let me know! Where is she from in Germany?

Stef, Hopeful, Carolyn, Sabi and chriss and anyone I have missed - hope you girls are all doing well!

I think I have finally gotten my energy back for the homestretch and the nesting has kicked in big time. Doing my best not to overdo it and to rest as my body tells me to. In two weeks from tomorrow, we'll be proud parents of a little miracle. Never give up hope and keep thinking positively.

Take good care everyone,
xx summer

We had another scan today and they were both moving around, very cool to see. I'm bushed though as we are going out of town this weekend. I'm taking Friday off and have been trying to get things ready for a sub. If I don't get a chance before we leave to check in I hope you all have a great weekend!

Thank you all for your great wishes on our scan yesterday - IT'S TWINS!!!! I had lost a triplet. My DH was speechless and kept saying are you sure! I just laid on the table and boo hoo'ed (happy of course). We had two heartbeats 167 and 174. My DS was so excited. We video taped his response. He thought he was in trouble. Told everyone at work today.

Hopeful, hope you get some R&R on your out-of-town travel this weekend.

Summer, it was the crossed fingers that did it. That one little fighter just didn't want to be alone, so it invited a friend. VP it is. You know I need help keeping up with things and remembering what to do next. Not much longer. Hope you are staying comfortable.

Njsurga and Sharon, good luck with the 2ww. These weeks seem like months.

Gigi, can't wait to hear about your scan. Hope your son's surgery goes well. I know that is a few weeks out, but keep us posted.

Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes.

Take care,
Kim

Dear Kim,
your wish for multiples did indeed come true after all!! Too bad no one was able to also capture DH's response on video, sounds like it was priceless! Congratulations on the strong heartbeats! :D :D
Take good care and keep us posted on how things are going!

Hi Poohgirl and Pauline,
So happy to hear you are both on your way! Very soon you will both be PUPO and counting the days till your BFPs!! Wishing you both all the very best!
Keep up the PMA and Pauline hope your cold is mild and goes away soon!
Poohgirl - looking forward to hearing your fert. report! Hope your donor is doing well after ER!

Sharon - hope you are hanging in there during your 2WW! Try not to make yourself crazy and keep up the PMA! Keep us posted.

I'm just trying to finish up the last of my cleaning and sewing this weekend, both for the baby and because my mom will arrive in a week! :D Hope to then just enjoy the remaining days with knitting and doctor's appointments...Going to have some acupuncture sessions in preparation for the birth, which they offer at the hospital starting when you reach week 36. They focus on the pressure points that give you both energy and relax you. I figure it can't hurt, and will be a good thing. I always got something out of it during my IVF transfers -- And the price is right, just 8 Euros/session.

Take good care everyone!! Thinking of you all.
