Karen - It sounds like you will have to fight to keep this cycle alive. Don't let them cancel you if you are comfortable with what you have. I have seen ladies with less than you have plenty for a transfer. Just bug the crap out of them if you have to and go with your gut!

OMG. It's been 21 pages since I last posted. There's no catching up now.

Sorry I've been away, but I didn't want to catch POAS fever. LOL. I will be POAS tomorrow morning because my beta is on Wednesday and I want a little bit of a heads up.

Most of the time, I don't "feel" pregnant. Any weird change I've had is listed as a side effect of one of the many drugs we're all having fun with. I still talk to my embies. But now it's more like "If you're still in there, it's Mommy. I love you." But, I'm starting to feel pretty silly doing it.

I need to know soon if this worked or not because I'm losing my mind.

J&C-Im so excited for you!! GL on wednesday!!! Sticky sticky dust to you!!!

Tonyacheek-Woo hooo! It is finally time to get this party started! GL on thursday. GL and sticky dust to you!!
dnbbruce-Hey! Welcome!!! You and I are the same path. The docs are thinking I will have my egg retrieval on Thursday! I cant wait!!! Im on lupron and goanl-f. My side effects have been fatigue, bloating and cramping. How are you feeling? PMA (postive mental attitude)to you!

Karen-holy moly!!! Im freaking out! You should be fine. I thought those results are great. im on day 10 with 4 follicles at 15 or more and estradiol at 408. The doctors said everything look great and we might do the tigger shot tomorrow. I dont understand it either. I only compare myself to all the other ladies results and I seem on the low side. I even made my DH call the doc and verify that my e2 level is good...and she said 408 is great. Now Im nervous. But, i know we will be fine and have our BFP in no time.
Malya-im still praying for you and your little bean! Everything will be fine! PMA to you!

AFM-like I said to karen, the docs say that everything looks good. However, im nervous...everything seems low. But who knows maybe the numbers will be higher tomorrow. Hey, I have a question...what classifies as a triple stripe? I thought is was cool how several of you ladies had one....but Im not sure if the docs here would know what im talking about if I ask. My endometrium is 12mm.

Prayers for everyone!!!

Hey, Kala. Don't freak out my dear. Each person is soooo different. My RE just said that he thought that given my # of eggs that my body could do better at making more mature ones. I don't agree that my cycle should be cancelled. I've search high and low and I don't think my E2 of 1350 for the # of follies that I have is high...but hey, I"m not the doctor. Ugh. Up until today, all I heard was it's moving abit slow but your fine. And then today...BAM...on the verge of cancelling. UGH. I wanna slap these people.

Sangria - great to hear from you!!! I don't think it's silly @ all to continue talking to your embies! Me and DH did and still do. The list is on pg. 96 if you want to do some brief catching up and I am going to repost today when we get our 3 BFPs in! :D

Kala - After the RE told me I had one, I could see it plain as day on the u/s. When he measures your lining he should go from one side to the other. If you see a line in the middle, you have one. Again, not sure of the specs of why, how, or purpose, but just know that it's a good sign. People get pregnant all the time without one, so don't worry if you don't see it. I'm sure you are nice and fluffy waiting on those precious little embie!

Karen - Your RE may want to cancel your cycle for financial / insurance reasons, if it is not looking especially good.
If you are paying out of pocket, a lot of places give you a lot of money back for a cancelled cycle. I think for me a cancelled cycle was only $500 + whatever it cost in drugs vs. the whole cost + drugs. If the stimming portion does not go well, the clinic would just cancel my cycle and try again. My clinic likes their high sucess rate.
If you are on insurance, most companies only allow you a certain number of attempts on IVF before they stop coverage. If you get cancelled, it may not count as an attempt under your insurance, bascially giving you another attempt at IVF that IS covered under insurance. (But I guess that would depend on your insurance.)
Maybe it's none of the above, but I thought I'd post that for whatever it's worth.

I almost forgot! For the POAS addicts:

I did some research. Consumer Reports tested HPTs and determined that First Response Early Result Pregancy Test consistently read the lowest HGC levels (between 5-10, I think).

That's good and bad for us IVFers as it may lead to a false positive if taken too early, but it should also show a true positive sooner. Hmm... maybe I just shouldn't POAS. A person could go nuts thinking about this.

Thanks for the insight Sangria. We are paying out of pocket via a shared risk program. So if this cycle is cancelled then we would get money back minus $500. I am awaiting my blood work call...and boy do I have lots of questions for them. Hopefully it won't be cancelled. Do the follies continue to grow even after trigger?

I don't have time for personals.. although, I'm always wishing you ladies the best.
I have a question.. My RE is putting me on Diluted Lupron. Anyone else have Diluted? That and Gonal-F which I had last time. No menapur this time. Any thoughts?
