I'm glad things are looking up for you though and I really hope your get your ER...what a nightmare

turtle0619 I'm glad you are sticking around too. I wouldn't blame your for peeking at the NOV/DEC thread but pleeeease don't leave us :( Your going to have to post double time I guess lol! GL with that!

miaya yay for new england girls!! i go to the fertility centers of new england. their main office is in reading ma., but i go to their office in bedford, nh. they also have a location is portsmouth, nh too, which is probably the closest to you in maine. check out their website. www.fertilitycenter.com. all of the RE's are ranked top in the country and most are harvard grads which makes it easy for me to trust them. where in maine are you?

Hey Turtle. I know, us NE gals! Whoo hoo. I went o UNH and lived in LondonDerry for a while. But I am back in Maine now.

I go to RSC in Lexington. The reason being is my old RE is a monitoring site. I just have to go to RSC for harvest and transfers. The rest I can do in Portland.

I heard that your clinic is good. But, there is no way I could afford to travel that much for monitoring....it would be too much. I do not believe they have a monitoring site in Maine yet.

Hey ladies!

Im giong to trigger at 5:30 tomorrow morning!!! Wooooo hooooo!!! Im so excited! Then the ER is Thursday at 4:30 (im 6 hours earlier than EST). i have 10 embies at 16mm is the smallest and 22mm is the biggest! My endometrium is 13mm and shelby I saw a line so Im guessing its a triple stripe! Now Im just praying the swimmers survive the thaw or we get some from TESA. Please send super strong swimmer dust to my DH! We are soooo nervous!

Sancap-so what meds are you on? that is good that you are not on PIO! (from what I hear) If (when) i get to the prego part, i will be on suppositories as well. it should be just as good as the nasty PIO shots.

J&C-woooooo hooooo! Keep up the good work and GL on wednesday!!!!

Iamhopeful-Wow...they have you nice and drugged up. Hope you dont get any bad side effects. Im praying for good BW u/S numbers!

Michele-im so sorry! Im still praying for you that a miracle happens on wednesday!

Syanna-hang in there with all poking! Wow, what an awesome dream!!! I just woke up from a nap and I dreamt (sp?) that some serbian mobsters where robbing me at my IVF clinic....weird! i wonder what that means?!?! Question (for you and turtle): my dh's friend who lives in mass heard that they cover all IVF cost if you live there. Is this true?

turtle-hang in there and stay with us! Ask teachermom to send you AF!

karenthescorpio-OMG!!! I cannot beleive that....good for you for standing up for your self and asking him if he knows what he is doing! You rock! I cant beleive that! Just persevere and we'll both have a BFP in no time!!!

kiwi-OMG!!! that is wonderful! Im hoping for multiples!!! That would be so exciting, huh!?!?!

boenbaby-Welcome!!! It is great to have you! I hoping your emby(s) are getting nice and cozy and snuggly!

statsgoddess- woooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooo!!!! Congratualtions!!!! Im so happy for you!!!! Fingers crossed for multiples!!! Happy anniversary!!!

shelby-im praying for twins for you!!! GL on monday!

akowens and michaelajt-GOOOOOOD lUCKKKKKK!! Im praying for a nice high strong beta tomorrow!!!

teachermom-GL tomorrow....GROW FOLLLIES GROW!!!!

Prayers and baby dust to all!!!

karenthescorpio - wow, you sound really patient even with all that calling back and forth. My guess is that RE might have looked at the wrong pictures or your replacement RE's didnt do a good job in describing what they saw. I am happy though that you can go ahead with your cycle and I keep my fingers crossed that you don't have to cancel.

kala - I am excited and am waiting for my next beta on Wednesday. I guess I am gonna ask today when they will do my u/s. My DH is on a trip in Europe so I go in everyday to get my injections.
Have fund with your trigger. I set like 3 alarm clocks just to make sure that we wake up. Then we were awake 10 min too early :-)

kala woohooo for triggering!! good luck! i am sending all my good thawing dust to you and DH! hang in there...you'll be PUPO in no time! what your friend said is right. mass. is on of the very few states that passed the law that all infertility treatments including IVF must be covered by all health insurance!(thank you ted kennedy)! i'm not sure how many cycles they have to allow, but it is amazing. it horrible that its not true of every state. i live in nh, but the company i work for is out of mass. so i get the same health insurance as them which is a dream come true because NH doesnt have any laws about infertility, and they dont have to cover anything! soooo does everyone wanna live in ma.now?? :D i have a few spare bedrooms!

malya324 Can I ask why he doesn't think it looks good. I am no expert, but your beta went up and you have a sac? So why is that bad? I am praying for you and wishing you luck. Rest and try not to worry. Yeah right!!!

AFM...still luproning and estrogen patches. It is nice not to have to do so much this cycle, but I feel like I am just waiting and waiting till I get to my 2ww where I can wait and wait.

OK, question: So do you look through a catalog or sales paper and see cute clothes but never buy anything since you may be pregers soon? I have barely bought myself any clothes for 2 years. My b-day is this week and I told DH I wanted athletic pants. He said no since I may be PG. I was like, I can wear them anyway being PG.
How about see an expiration date on something and think, "I would be 6 months PG then." or "I will have a baby by then."

Am I the only one who does this stuff?

malya - I'm confused as to why your doc is being so pessimistic. All your betas doubled great with the exception of the last one but it almost doubled. Plus, beta levels start to slow down and not double as frequently as they get higher. I definitely think you should take it easy but lots of women have cramping and bleeding in their pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. Is there something the doc saw on the u/s that would make him think differently? Did they see anything in the sac? I'll keep you in my prayers!

Congrats to all the BFP's this week! HOW FABULOUS!!!!!!!!

I am still checking in and reading but not posting frequently. I've kinda been on the pitty pot since my u/s last week. I go back in tomorrow for my second u/s and I'll be 6 weeks 2 days.

I truly am so thrilled for all the BFP's! I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the support. My PMA is back. Of course in an hour it may be gone. This is the happiest and saddest I think I've been in a single 24-hour period. Too many drugs perhaps? Or hormones? I hope to find out if it gets worse post partum.

kala0704 - Good luck on your trigger.

karenthescorpio - I've heard some wild IVF stories, but you win hands down. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

lisa10 - Buy the clothes. I figure the more unprepared I am to have a baby the more likely it will be to happen.

malya324 - I'm not a RE, but your numbers look good to me. (Partial chart here: http://www.advancedfertility.com/earlypre.htm)

sancap - Grats on your snowflakes!

Today I've been thinking about how people expect that we maintain a Zen-like calm throughout this process, despite all the drugs, schitzoid doctors, and evil POAS. I've decided that anyone that can go through IVF and remain calm needs a mental health check immediately. Now I just need to find a non-destructive way to blow off some steam that doesn't involve too much physcial activity or drinking alcohol with my girlfriends after work. Suggestions?

WOW! I missed just 2 days and I am so behind. Sorry. :(
Had ER on Monday. I was on so much pain because of the OHSS. I has gained 2.5 pounds overnight. SO I am now on bedrest again. RE was able to get 10 eggs and I got the fert report this morning....6 eggs definately fertilized, 2 eggs were iffy and 2 did nothing. So now they will do PGD on thursday for a saturday ET and my beta on 10/26. I am hoping at least one of these little ones will not have the chromosome issue so I can get to ET. Like you ladies say it only takes 1 right? I am still taking the antagon and the other med which the spelling of escapes me right now for OHSS.
Thanks for everyones good thoughts!
