turtle It's so funny you asked about Ghost- I too wondered about that! It was SO fast that this cycle got canceled! I feel like the last cycle went on for so long before it was canceled. I feel blindsided by how quickly this one went wrong.

malya waiting to hear good news from you. Praying for you and your baby.

sancap Congrats on your snowbabies! That's awesome!

Wolffie hope to hear from you soon about your u/s today.

prayin Great fertility report. Praying for your embies to thaw perfectly and get back in their mamma!

Karen Are they kidding?? What kind of clinic is that?? I think we all want to beat them for you!!!

jaydentd awesome follie number! Grow follies grow!

shelby so glad morning sickness finally showed up for you! It's the best bad feeling there is!

johannanita cannot believe BIL chick! It makes me so angry that those who can get pregnant so easily take it for granted. How can they not cherish and protect that little one growing inside? sorry you had to deal with that.

j & c PUPO!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Enjoy your rest!

michaelajtawesome beta!

kala GL with ER tomorrow. I'll be waiting to hear your good news.

moorebaby so sorry to hear your news. It's great that you are not giving up hope.

sangria so sorry. (((hugs)))) to you too

michele you're in my thoughts and prayers. Like washintonda said- you have to do what's in your heart. I would probably do the same.

marya GL starting meds again!

lisa great news on lining. I know your embies are gonna love it!

kiwi awesome beta. can't wait to hear about your u/s.

AFM, We are struggling with what we should do now. My RE suggested we could switch to an IUI this cycle. I have one follicle that is a 15 right now. The problem is this- I obviously have fertility issues. Among them- my age 38 (not old but since I started seeing AF at the age of 8, my ovaries are older than me chronologically- if that makes sense), low ovarian reserve, and poor responder to meds. In addition to fertility issues, I don't have a DH, I have a DP so I don't have unlimited access to "the goods." We use donor sperm and every time we try it costs us dearly for that. I'm sorry to unload all this info, but I feel so close to all of you, and was wondering if anyone has any opinions on whether we should try switching to an IUI.

sangria- i'm so sorry about your result. was this your 1st cycle? i hope you can find the strength to move on & try again. there's hope & it WILL happen...i know it will!

ct_michelle- do what you feel is right in your heart. always go with your gut feeling. if it doesn't work you know you gave it your all & try again!

as for me, well i just returned from the re's office. he had good news for me...doesn't look ectopic. he thinks i will start bleeding in the next couple of days. my hcg levels went down so he's thinking my body is naturally going to miscarry. i'm so glad that it doesn't look like i'll need an injection of methotrexate or even surgery. he said that my hcg levels will drop to 0 probably in 3 to 4 weeks. then i will get my period probably 2 to 4 weeks after that. the office closes for the month of december since they are open everyday even weekends the rest of theyear. this means we won't be able to start our 2nd ivf cycle until january. we will have to start all over since none of our embbies froze :(

CT So sorry. It almost seems easier if they would just say BFN then string you along. I had a chemical last try and that was the hardet part. Waiting between the tests to hear either, it went down or it went up. I'll be praying for you.

Moore Well at least it's not etopic (sp?) It sucks you have to wait till January, but maybe you can relax and enjoy teh holidays. Try to put the IVF stress out of your mind for a while. I wish you the best of luck with the next try.

Got my offical call. I am good to go on the 17th for my FET. Keep up the protical. Now all I need is a good thaw!

Hello ladies..... I am checking in since my BFN. Still heartbroken and confused but what else can I do. I have been reading the forum and delighted that there is still so much activity going on... life must go on I guess. Sorry for adandoning you ladies, but I hope I can still be welcomed. Well, after my BFN, I cried and cried. But then I finallly had my Impacted Tooth pulled out that weekend... after like 10 years. SO now I am still recovering from that pain also... but finally got the courage to get it out. No more Bad Breath... sorry TMI...lol. Well, I still dont plan on staring a cycle anytime soon. I called my INs and they said I can go to a new clinic but I have to get a new order from my Primary Dr. So I still have yet to call him. But I dont plan on starting till at least the holidays are over. In the meantime, my moms friend has started me on the Herbal cleanse for Fertility. and I must say, I do feel positive. I think it is more like a Spell..lol. I have to light candles on certain days and I have to eat certain things and I have to do a lemon/honey cleanse for a few days. She even told me when to BD for a boy and what days for a girl. Well, I will try anythin at this point. Why not.??? So I have been doing that and I feel so much better and I have to say, I feel good about this. SHe told me that the things I am consuming is to make me fertilt and to clean out my tube and an antioxident. SO we will see what happens. Just pray for me.

So now I go to personels... I am so sorry if I miss anyone.
To all the ladies that have gotten a BFN (which there are not to many) I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you cuz I know how bad it hurts. Especially hopeing that out of all the BFPs this board is getting... how we wish that we could have been one of them and it didnt work out that way. I wish u luck for your next cycle.

shelby.... congratulations to you on your BFP. Well deserved mama. You have been s great keeping up with us. Wishing u a happy & healthy 9 months. Congrats on catching the theif but not a brite thing to do in your condition. Now u need another new addition to the family... A BIG dog... As for the Morning Sickness... u asked for it hun. :) GL hun.

Malya324 , Kiwi, Rali, Statsgoddess, Michaelajt73.... Congrats ladies on your BFP. I think we are going to have lots of Multiple PG on this board. Sounds wonderful doesnt it??? GL to you ladies.

moorebaby... I sorry for what u r going thru. If it is an eptopic, it is better that they find out now than too late. I had an eptopic 10 years ago with a natural pg. Well, I found out i was PG but tube ruptured very next day. I lost 8 pints of blood and my left tube. The Doc said 10 more minutes at home, I would have died. I dont mean to scare u but better now. If it is a Chemical, which I am also sorry, then I am glad that u get to start right away and hope u do get another BFP. GL to you hun.

J&C.... Congrats hun on being PUPO. Glad the tranfer went well. GL hun.

CT_Michele.... OMG hun. First of all Congrats cuz hun... u r PG no matter how low the numbers. She/He may have been a very late implanter. ALl you can do right now is keep nourishing it and let nature take its course. You may have a very stong little one that is trying and just needs that nourishment and for now that nourishment is the POI so I would keep on taking them... but hun.. it is all up to you. But u r PG. I wish u lots of luck and hopefully Ella will get her little bro or sis. I will pray for u.

mayra... GL with this new cycle.

jaydent... GL tomorrow with trigger and ER and then ET. Hope u get your BFP.

Prayin... I hope it works out well hun. Ill be praying for your embies. GL.

johanita..... Glad u r doing great. as for your BILs new GF... she is so stubborn. Its moments like that that make me so angry. Why do these women get blessed and take it for granted, and to us that cant and promise to nourish, cant. I despise women like that.

Well, I am off to do some work. I will check back in later.

OMG I am so frustrated. I just typed this big long list of personals between working and went to sumbit and it went to login....errrgh!

Here we go again!

moorebaby-Glad to hear it is not ectopic and you do not need surgery...guess we have to take the good with the bad and make the best of what were dealt with. I agree that at least you can enjoy the holidays and try to relax and not think about it (yeah right!) You will have a fresh start in a fresh new year! 2010 is your year!

teachermom- That just plain sucks about cancelling your cycle. Tough questions re: the donor sperm and switching...do you take the chance with the issues you face or do you just wait for another IVF cycle...if you don't have limitless funds, I would do what gives me the best chance at a BFP! With only one follie to work with it's going to be really tough but crazier things have happened I'm sure. Can you use the sperm you have now for your next IVF cycle. If so, that's probably what I would do. GL with whatever you decide, It will happen for you and DP!

CT-Michele Wowzie! I think you are doing the right thing. Hang in there and whatever happens, you will know that you gave it your best shot! More prayers for you tonight honey and I'm keeping everything crossed for your next beta!

kiwi- WONDERFUL beta girrrrl! Sooooo excited for you and can't wait to hear about your beautiful sac Monday!!

lisa10 Good lining = happy embie. Snuggleupagus embie dust comin your way!

marya 21 days and counting...it'll be here in no time!

J&C- what a coinkidink about your friend! BTW- handbell choir?? You are just asking to be made fun of aren't you?! lol Just kidding:) I did hand bells too...in 2nd grade...lol. Seriously, that sounds very sweet and relaxing actually. Are you first bell? I'm sorry, I am in a really mischevious mood today. My friend is the receptionist/office manager at my office and she just put a "comments/suggestions" section in the mail room and I put a comment in there for her to "get an attitude adjustment" lol, corney...I know. I don't know what is with me today. Anyway back to the important stuff! It is really awesome that you found someone you know going through the same cycle as you! You are going to be a HUGE help and inspiration to her I am sure of it! Now get some rest and let those little embies snuggle in tight!

Sangria- I am so sorry to hear about your BFN:( I'll be looking to see what your response is re: your next step. Best of luck to you, it will work out somehow.

AFM- nothing new today...just waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting...well you get the picture, and waiting  ...

Here's more!

Jaydentd- I don't think I'm going to POAS until Saturday or Sunday (sunday was supposed to be my original beta day but the clinic is closed so I figure I'd be able to get an accurate reading by then) but I am soooo nervous to do it...I soooo do not want to see another neg. ever ever again! Let's not think about that (happy place happy place). As for you my girl...OMFG and WTF! Sorry for the F's but I will gladly call you RE for you and scream at them...although I am sure everything will be fine on your part, it sure would have freaked me out too. All the absolute best to you and I can't wait to hear about your next u/s!

Shelby- WOW what a crazy experience with the robber. I would feel a little freaked out too after that. I think the suggestion to get a big dog is a good one and the one about having the police ride through your neighborhood a few times a day for the next week of so...you did their job for the so it's the least they could do! No more of that though ok! You have another to think of now so safety first! Congrats on you m/s too- hey maybe if the robber comes around again that m/s will come in handy and you can just puke all over him...gross! lol then he'll never come back!

Johannanita-Well I guess some people are just not all there....what a major dissapointment re: your BIL's girlfriend and you BIL who left his wife??? What a jerk! Hopefully she grows up a bit and she'll be a good mom to her little one. Why why why them and not us? It's just not fair!

Michaelaj173- YIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D :D :D Congrats mommy!!!!!!

LadyJ-Ouch and double ouch re: you tooth...as if you didn't have enough pain in your life! I was just talking to someone the other day about cleansing and herbal/natural treatments to help fertility and it certainly can't hurt. If anything, it would be a great lift to the PMA! which is a huge factor. Major good luck to you, I love your attitude!

Thanks guys for all your thoughts and prayers. Like I said I am not getting my hopes up, but of course I am praying hard!

I went to the clinic to pick up more crinone and prenatals, and we got a chance to talk to the ivf coordinator. She said there is no harm is continuing and seeing what happens, but they have never had success with this low of a number. She thinks the numbers will stop rising at some point. I also talked her into letting me redo the bloodwork on friday. I just couldn't stand waiting another 5 days for more results. Oh, and btw, my progesterone was also very low at 3.8, which is not good.

I will of course keep you all updated and try to do some personals soon, I know I have fallen way behind in personals, but I have just been so emotionally drained from all of this.

blood work shows my estrogen is down but the progesterone is good and my HCG is up but not by a lot, I've been bleeding hard, cramping and having clots the size of half my palm, but we had an u/s this morning and we have a 6wk 3 day sac with a heartbeat of 90. My RE says we just have to sit and wait for something to happen and I go back and see him on the 16th. I'm praying and hoping that everything turns out ok. I'm not sure how I can bleed so much and it still be ok!? I'm filled with so many mixed emotions. I can't imagine it being ok and yet it is still there. Grow baby, grow!

So to all of you who think its hopeless, don't give up hope a miracle can happen!

Hey ladies. Well, we did in fact do ER today...for the sake of avoid severe OHSS. Some how, some way they retrieved 17 eggs and 9 are mature...maybe a couple more the embryologist said. I was very very taken back. I thought this cycle would be a bust. Will be fert report tomorrow. Right now the plan is to freeze, but I'm going to push for a transfer now if I have more than 3 embies. My doctor has not been right about much on a consistent basis...but atleast I have 9 mature eggs right now. Something to work with!!! Insides are very sore...ugh...but not too bad. Lots of rest and pampering today from hubchop. ha!

Also, regarding the clinic...it's so bizarre. They are like one of the best in the country, so they say. I really didn't expect all this back and forth and uncertainty. I definitely want to try a new place if we need it. Thanks to all for all the supportive words and anger sharing. It helps me to know it's not just me over reacting (having never done IVF before). Baby dust to all!

Oh Boy, its been some day here today. Lots of roller coasters going on here. My thoughts are with all of you, I only wish I was better with words.

michele -Julie said it all. Go with your heart. You'll have no regrets that way. I'll have you in my prayers again tonight. everything crossed for you as always! -xoxo

j & c -you're PUPO! I think its fantastic that you came across a girl from town! now you have another 2ww buddy! sticky thoughts to you!

jaydentd -I was thinking of POAS next wed. my beta is fri the 16th, which I think is kind of excessive 15 days past 3 day transfer. They really want to see me lose my mind! I will do it 2 days early, just to have a heads up, i remember how bad the BFN phone call was last time. How about you? I'm to do it, but scared to not do it. UGH!!

wolffie -crossed for you, hon

lady j -I admire how strong you are! I'll keep you in my prayers as well!

malya -I cant imagine what you're going through right now. Prayers to you & DH. Keep fighting little one!

teachermom / moorebaby / sangria - i wish I knew what to say to make the hurt stop. I dont think there are words that can. I'm so sorry.

hugs & prayers to all of us !!! xoxo

Hello Ladies - I had to come check the board really quick. I had a good nap this afternoon, and I'm headed back to lay down again. I'm feeling kinda nauseous, which I don't remember from the last transfer. I guess it's all different.

michele - I would keep on trying!!! Definitely!!! :D

moorebaby - I know January seems like a long time off right now. Try to focus on the holidays and enjoy a couple of restful months. We did this with our first cycle, and I'm so glad we took a little break.

sancap - You are sooooooooo funny!! :D I've been playing handbells for about 20 years and just LOVE IT!!! In college, I played with one of the top handbell choirs in the country, and I've directed from time to time also adn play solos (you've never seen anything like it :D ). Trust me, it's not the same as your typical 2nd grade handbell choir. I've heard them all - head ding-a-ling, ding-dong, etc. Bring it on!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

karenthescorpio - 9 eggies!!! I can't wait to hear the fert. report. I would also push for a transfer if you have 3 embies. GL!!! :D

Turtle – DH did all the chasing. I just stayed on the phone. It was exciting and scary @ the same time. I just hope that guy realizes that he won’t get away with that around here.

Kala –LOL! We have a very good alarm system….a big black lab! Good Luck tomorrow!!!!

Teachermom & Sangria – (((HUGS))) I’m so sorry.

Moorebaby – Oh my goodness. I’m very sad for you. I, too, know what it’s like to have a positive, but yet, not positive. It’s heartbreaking. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I wish you the best with your next cycle and am so glad you are not giving up. I’ll be waiting to see your BFP in January!!!!

Prayin – Girl, I feel so fat and I shouldn’t be this way so fast! LOL! I sure hope there are twins in there to justify all this!

J&C – Congrats! You’re PUPO!!! Isn’t it a small world?

Michele
– I definitely agree that you should go with your gut. I see absolutely nothing wrong with giving this all the chance you can. Good Luck!

Marya –YAY for starting again! Will you be starting Lupron then?

Lisa –Great report!

Kiwi –You are movin’ on, Sista! Sweet! I hope to be @ the 5,000 mark by Monday and they go ahead and schedule me for the u/s!!!! I am tempted to push for it either while I’m there or Tuesday!

Jaydentd –Trigger here you come! Woohoo!

Wolffie – How’d it go????? Can’t wait to hear the good news!

Lady J – Glad you got your dental issues taken care of. Now you can heal and really let that cleansing work. We’ve got the big dog already. He lets us know when an ANT comes in the yard!!!!

Johannanita – People like that girl really get my goat!!!

Sancap – I feel your pain about losing the post. I’ve had that happen to me twice! I think you might be on to something about the m/s! LOL!

Malya – I am praying for a wonderful outcome!

Karen – Hoping for a healthy fert. report! Take advantage of all the pampering you can get and if your gut is telling you to proceed with transfer, I say, ‘Go for it!’

AFM – Went to the aquarium today. I didn’t dive, but DH did. Had to run to the bathroom about 4 times with nothing but dry heaves. The other guys that we dive with are a great group, but they are going to have to learn when I say I’m hungry, they better be ready to eat! LOL!
