Looking for OB/GYN and RE recommendations in Baltimore

Post by poshiebaby »

Hi everybody -

I live in Baltimore MD, and am searching for a new OB/GYN and RE.
I was previously with Kaiser Permanente but my employer dropped them at the end of 2008. I am now with Aetna and have to choose all new doctors, RE, clinics to work with. I am overwhelmed at the thought of having to "start all over", and have consequently just been avoiding doing anything, which just makes me feel even more helpless and depressed! So I'm trying to get back into the proactive swing. If you have doc suggestions for the Baltimore area, please send them my way!!

I'm new to the board. Here's a brief intro about me.. I'm 30, DH is 32. We've been trying for about 4.5 years. Only sought help about 3 years ago. Went through all the test and they found blocked tubes. I had the laparoscopy surgery, one tube was removed. Afterwards we did two unsuccessful rounds of injectable IUIs. The next step (with my old doc) was to move onto IVF.

Wishing everyone the very best in their journies. :)

Love

I used Shady Grove Fertility in Annapolis. They have several different locations you just need to look for one closer to you. They were awesome. We got pregnant the 1st time around with IVF. If you want to PM me, you can and I will give you the REs name that we used. Thanks.
Me, 40 - DH, 47
IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.
