J&C I played handebells for 10 years. Loved it!

WolfieWhere are you? We are waiting for the report and praying all is good.

Karen That is insane. I would be screaming at someone there. They sound like this is their first IVF cycle! Glad you got a bunch of follies. Hope your OHSS gets better soon and all works out. At least they aren't charging you. Maybe you'll get a baby for free!!!

Malya How are you supposed to be patient and calm till the 16th? All I can say is hang in there. We are pulling for you and that baby. Going to send you some "baby stay right where you are at" dust. I made that one up.

Good evening ladies!

Busy day on the board today. Such a roller coaster. I'll try to get some personals done but sorry for keeping them short.

Malya - I'll keep you and your little one in my prayers.

shelby - do the other divers know you're preggo? How did your bonus boys react to the news. I bet they were stoked!

karen- OMG, 9 eggies is great! congrats!

michle - you're always in my prayers!!

moorebaby - (((((hugs)))))

teachermom - so sorry about your cycle

sangria - ((hugs))

lady J - nice to hear from you. you are always welcomed!

lisa - YAY! You will be PUPO before you know it!!!

Kala - sounds like things are going well!!!! YAY! How soon after your transfer will you be returning home?

Johannanita - wow, can't believe your BIL's baby mama! A woman I work with is about 11 weeks preggo with IVF twins and she continues to drink about a pot of coffee a day. Plus, she is still planning on running a marathon in a couple of weeks. I know there not the same as drinking alcohol but I feel like she is taking her little ones for granted.

I know I am leaving some out. I apologize.

AFM, The u/s went well today. YAY! My little booger's sac measured 6 weeks 3 days and the baby measured 6 weeks 1 day (I am 6 weeks 2 days). The RE isn't concerned about the difference. The heart rate was 117!!!

Good evening ladies-

I think I have H1N1 right now so I'm a little out of it but I wanted to check in.

Sangria and moorebaby-My heart is breaking for you! It is so hard to pick up the pieces and be positive after such a devastating moment. We will be here you-your in my thoughts and prayers.

Michele-Do what you believe is best that way you'll never have to wonder what if... I am praying for you.

Shelby-morning sickness is a beautiful thing for us crazy women!!!

Sancap and Katie-I hope you're resting and thinking happy baby thoughts!

Teachermom-I was switched to an IUI after I had only 2 follies, one at 18. I sarcastically called it my consolation prize for two rounds of IVF shots and 2 canceled cycles. We have had 3 failed IUIs, I am a poor responder/low egg quantity, and my DH has a low sperm count/low motility. My RE and nurses reminded me that there have been pregnancies from the changed cycles-I believe that but I know my chances are very slim. I can't offer advice in your case but please know that people do get a BFP from IVF changed to IUI. Did you discuss doing another try at IVF? What were the thoughts on that? I wish you the best of luck on whatever you decide. Maybe I can share an amazing tale of a BFP from IUI on Monday (I still have some hope!)

Keep the faith! You all are in my prayers :)

Supergenius – Good to hear from you! Excited to know that you are getting to start soon! YAY!

Wolffie – That is wonderful news about the ultrasound!!! I knew everything was fine! Time to start ticker #2 :D ! Yes, the other divers know. We are telling the people we work/have close contact with because my job @ the aquarium (even if I don’t dive) involves lifting 30-40 pound items. So we kinda had to. So when John goes to another building, the other guys can help me out. The bonus boys are excited! Austin (16) keeps saying, “I can’t believe there will be a 17 year age difference!”

Rayofsunshine – OMG  !!! I hope you feel better soon!

Michaelajt73 – You have access to do a beta?!!? Wow! I would be using that every day! Come on, now…. U can’t tell me you waited for your clinic to do your first one  …… LOL!

Dndbruce & Kala- Good Luck today! LOTS OF EGGIES ON THE WAY!

Hey girls. Wow, you girls are the chattiest bunch I have ever seen. I can barely keep up. I have been reading but geesh! Sorry if my personals are lame but there is just so much going on.

let me start....

CT~ aww...hun, I am so sorry. I hope they are wrong and things continue to develop. I can only imagine how you are feeling. This whole process is so stressful and emotional without the roller coaster of uncertainty. I remember you from the August thread....you need your BFP!!!! hugs to you!

Wolfie! Phew...what a relief! So happy for you.

Moore baby~ugh....ditto what I said for CT! I am so sorry for this roller coaster and I am thinking of you both.

lady J~ no fear coming back here.....welcome back. Sorry BFN and about the tooth.

Karen~ that is awesome about the ER.

Katie~ How goes the 2ww???

AFM~ Nada.....I go for beta monday which is 12dp2dt....I honestly think I could get accurate results tomorrow. As you know, I am not expecting much. Which sucks but they way things were since ER, I have had plenty of time to prepare and start thinking about my next cycle. Our plan is to start right away. Of course I will have to wait for AF after stopping progesterone. I am not sure what protocol we will go with this time. I almost wonder if I was tooo surpressed? What do you girls think.....E21100, 19 measurable follies.....only 2 eggs retrieved????

AFM...

turtle DH wouldn't let me watch the game! It makes him too nervous lol. But I was checking the score all night on my MLB app on my iPhone..hehe. Beta was supposed to be this Sunday but the clinic is not open so I have to wait until Monday. I think I'm going to POAS either Sat. or Sun. Hoping to hold out until Sunday...just thinking about it makes me nnnnervous. I really hope the Twins can knock the Yankees out early but I have a sneaking suspision that it ain't gonna happen that way  Can't wait for tonight! I think we're gonna go downtown to a Red Sox bar and watch the game...should be fun, as long as we win!

Hi everyone -

You know, i thought that the worst torture of this ivf roller coaster was the being cancelled then waiting endlessly to start over, twice. I have since changed my mind (what I have left of it) I realize I have a LONG beta wait- 15 days! but I swear the waiting to start over again, sounds so much better right now than this h**l I've read of women over analyzing every liitle twinge, and thought i wouldnt do it too, but I cant help myself! Every tiny liittle cramp, twinge, feeling, I'm like what was that? was that a good sign? a bad sign? I'm completely losing it! and theres still 8 days to go!! AARRGGGHHH!!!

malya -I'm rooting for you, girl! Hang in there

karen -9 eggs is great!

shelby -Dont worry, hon - they will all soon get the hang of feed the pregnant lady NOW! Or risk the consequences! xoxo

wolffie -Congrats on your (sigh of relief!) great u/s! YIPPEE!

rayofsunshine -Crossed for you monday! feel better!

miyaya -I'm still crossed for you monday!

sancap -Are you still sane? Will you be joining me here in crazytown? Yeah, I feel totally normal too. My boobs are sore, but i know thats from the PIO....

Hi Franny!How are you doing?

michele -prayers for you tomorrow! xoxo

hugs to everybody!! xoxo

got an email back from the clinic and when I go for my 3rd beta on Monday they will schedule me for the first u/s. She said they like to wait a week after the 3rd beta to increase the chances to see/hear a heartbeat. ARG!!!! Oh well. Guess I'll just hang around and twiddle my thumbs in between gags! YUCk!!! Other than the gagging, the only other big change I have noticed is that I am VERY irritable when I am woke up early from my nap! I've gotten to where I turn all the phones off, but heaven have mercy on the Fed-Ex man if he brings me medications while I'm trying to sleep! lol

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on to do personals. I actually applied for another job internally within my company and had interviews this week (yeah, like I don't have enough going on!), so I've been pretty busy with that. I really hope I get the other job because it would be a promotion and a raise, which I just might need to pay for daycare next year :) My second beta was yesterday and they didn't get around to calling me until 4pm, but I was up to 1302 yesterday! Now I have to go back again tomorrow and they want to see that it doubled again and then two weeks until u/s! It might be sinking in a little bit, although I am still on edge waiting on each of the next tests. I just hope they keep doing what they are supposed to do and tomorrow the numbers are good.

Oh, and I am staying on the PIO shots instead of moving to the suppositories, which is okay with me. I can't remember who said this pages and pages back, but whoever is doing the PIO shots and then the suppositories when DH is traveling - that was a great idea and I mentioned it to my clinic and they said that would be fine for me. DH has stayed home since this started so that he could do all my shots, but he does have some business travel he needs to do in the next few weeks, and there is NO WAY I can do that shot myself! For those that do, you are much braver than I am!!!

Katie99 - Are you going to POAS or wait it out? The last three days before beta were the hardest for me!

Shelby - Wow! You've had a lot of drama this week!!!

Turtle - Mammoth Cave was pretty neat. We also do real caving (as in, crawing around in caves with flashlights here in Tennessee), so it wasn't quite as exciting as that :) Last year we went to King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park out in California and saw the big trees. They were amazing!! We wanted to go to Acadia National Park in Maine this year, but when we realized when the beta was going to fall, we decided to stay a little closer to home. DH has been watching the National Park show and I've seen bits and pieces of it. It's been a pretty good series.

Wolffie - Glad to hear you got to see your little darling finally!

Karen - I'm glad to hear you were able to get something out of this cycle after all. It definately sounds like someone messed up at your clinic.

Teachermom and Sangria - I'm so very sorry. *Hugs*

Moorebaby - Oh my! I am so sorry to hear what you have had to go through. After all that, at least it isn't ectopic - they were afraid my chemical was last cycle and had me all freaked out that they were going to have to do surgery. I know the waiting isn't ideal, but it might not be a bad idea to give your body some time to rest and also not have to deal with the stress of the whole thing over the holidays. I waited 3 months to try after my last failed cycle, and while I wasn't happy about it at first, I was glad I did it by the time we were ready to try again.

Everyone else - Hope things are going well!
