i was bad and took a home pregnancy test and it was negative! im hoping it is just too soon to pick up the hormone but now im thinking im not pregnant. i was supposed to get my pregnancy test on the 11th but i moved it to the 13th. i thought if they wanted to test me on the 11th then maybe i could take a home test now and get the results. has anyone else done this and the results were wrong?

Yeah Wolfie...I have to admit I have been a little worried for you during this wait. I am so happy to hear all looks good. Why did they have to put you through that though?

So last night I told DH how well my lining looked and that the tech was so excited. He was like, "Why can't they just do thumbs up thumbs down or something instead of making everything sound so great when it doesn't mean anything." He is still recovering form the roller coaster of last time when everything was great the whole time and look where it got us. He said whatever odds they give us, he is subtracting 50%. But I told him, not me. I have PMA!! To which he was like, what??? And I said as of the 17th I will be PUPO. Again he was like, huh? So I explained that on our site we only have a positive outlook. We understand that even if the odds are against us, miracles can happen and I will have my turn.

Don't get me wrong, he is very supportive about this whole thing. I am so worried about the PIO shots coming up. I got my flu shot yesterday and my arm hurts. I was teasing leading up to it, because now days, what's one shot. But my arm is SORE! But he told me not to worry about the PIO's. He used to give shots to his dad during chemo and he claims he is a really good butt shot giver and he won't hurt me. But anyway, my point is I really think this support group has made a difference in my attitude. Because with your support I can keep up the PMA while he is weaning some.

Stats - Good luck on the new position! Will your hours be the same?

Lisa – My arm has always been sore after the flu shot. One year it was so bad that I had a bruise and it hurt for a week! Glad to hear that you have so much PMA! Just keep on and DH will catch on

Cricket - Hang in there. I have a very dear friend who is going thru the end of her 2ww right now and her HPTs have been negative. We text frequently and I just can't give up the hope that she is pregnant. My clinic's nurse told me that she has seen women come in with neg. HPT's and still have a positive beta. I am holding on to that for her and for you!

Hi ladies. So I got my fert report. There was one more egg that was mature, so we ended up with 10 mature eggs...and all 10 were fertized with ISCI. Right now they are all growing normally. :P Whatever "normally" means. I didn't ask for details b/c I'm so over this clinic. But so far so good! They told me to do the PIO shots and doctor will decide on Day 3 if he wants to freeze or do fresh transfer. I asked the nurse to have him call me to explain what the debate is about...the embryo quality or my hormones? Any who...good news so far! Gonna try just to live in the moment and enjoy this small victory while it lasts!!!!!

Shelby - It will probably be several weeks before I find out about the new job, but if I get it, it would be the same hours I have now. It might be a little travel, though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I think I would really like it.

Cricket - I think it's still a little early, especially if you had a late implanter. There are women who don't get the + hpt even right before beta, but do get a + blood test, so there really isn't a way to know right now. Hang in there!!

Lisa - I'm so glad you are keeping up the PMA! DH will come around - I'm sure it's just his way of dealing with the last time. We were in the same boat with a chemical when everything looked great the last try but then it went wrong, and this try we really didn't talk about it or obsess over every little thing. It was actually easier this time because we knew what to expect and felt more in control of the cycle and it wasn't as stressful for either of us.

sancap we definitely do not have limitless funds which is why we have to weigh our options carefully. It's never easy, is it?

rayofsunshine I know our chances are slim switching from IVF to IUI- my RE said my chances of getting PG are 5%!! It's crazy! I am praying to hear your BFP from your IUI so I can follow in your footsteps!

malya so glad to hear about your sac and heartbeat! :)

karen I was starting to write about your great retrieval numbers, but then saw the even more awesome fert. report. What were they ever thinking when they wanted to cancel you??? So happy for you!!!!!! :)

wolffie so happy to hear about your little sac and heartbeat too! :)

michaelajt that's so cool that you have access to do a beta!! We are ALL jealous I'm sure!

AFM, we have decided to try switching this cycle to an IUI. We feel that this is 2 cycles now wasted and my ovarian reserve is not going to get any better so we better try with every little follie we get. If this doesn't work we are on to IVF cycle number 4! Thanks for all the (((HUGS))) from everyone- they mean a lot :D

Karen What is your clinic's deal? 10 Follies and they were going to cancel? Great report. Either way, if you freeze or transfer you have a nice bunch there to work with.

Oops...I forgot. I have some extra meds I want to give away. We are not doing anymore fresh cycles so I won't need them. I paid a pretty penny for them, so I would love to see them go to one of you girls from this thread.
The only thing is, they are refrigerated meds. How would I ship them? Can I put in a cold pack and overnight them?
Anyway, all I am asking is for you to cover the shipping costs which will probably include the box and postage.

I have: (2) Gonal-F pens 900IU/1.5mL
(1) Ovidrell 250 mg/0.5mL

PM me if you are interested. Also I would appreciate info from anyone who has ever mailed meds before.

ok, I think I am in crazy town now too...I've been sitting here for like an hour refreshing the page thinking boy the posting is slow today and the whole time I was stuck on the last page lol!

lisa10- That sounds exactly like what my DH would say. It's def draining on the PMA but I feel like with his pessimism and my optimism we even each other out and end up being more realistic with things. This group has made a HUGE difference in my PMA too and even the BFN's have helped me in knowing that if they can get through it so can I if it doesn't happen for me this time. I love all you girls (((((HUGS))))) and don't know how I would have even gotten this far w/out them/you.

cricket Gosh darn it! what is your dpt? No more POASing, it'll drive you insane...i've seen it on here before. Instead of being the POAS queen, I am going to be the antiPOAS queen, at least until the day before or so. Why did you move your beta to the 13th?

karenthescorpio- Unbelievable fert report!!! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee! I agree that you have to take each moment by itself and deal with it seperately. You can be happy now and enjoy this time because you have 10 beautiful embies growing! Congrats!

statsgoddess- Wawaweewa what a great beta #! I can't wait to see the outcome...twins or tripplets? You lucky mama! I agree re: the last 3 days of the 2ww. I feel lucky that I only have a 9-10 day wait but being that I am 6dp5dt today...it is getting really hard not to POAS. I think I'm gonna wait until day 8...what do you think...is that a good plan? When did you first POAS? I just don't want a neg unless it's really a neg. (ofcourse even then I don't want it but at least it's out of my control then). GL getting the new job...sounds exciting!

katie99- I'm so sorry you are going crazy in crazytown. It is sooo unfair that you have to wait so long for beta...I just don't understand

2010- Oh yeah honey! You'll be obsessing in no time. But at least you have us to keep you somewhat sane during the process.

shelbyrn0214-more waiting, more waiting...does it ever end? I think not:( I wish I could say from experience but I've heard eating crakers helps with the m/s...I'm sure you've heard that one before!

Hi ladies! I got bw/us done this morning, and it seems that my follies are between 10 - 15mm right now. I gotta do the shots and go back there in the morning for another bw/us. Can one day really make a difference on their sizes. How much longer will it take before I can go thru with the ER? It seems like forever.... And for some reason, out of the 3 shots I take, seems that Repronex is the most painful for me (it stings soo bad!), i must admit, i cried like a little school girl on that first shot. Never thought I'd say this...but I want my trigger shot!!!

sayanna- I think follies are supposed to grow 1mm a day so I would think they would wait more than one day but who knows? Maybe they are just checking how quickly they are growing so they can estimate when you will be ready for ER and schedule your ER tomorrow. I would say another 3-5 days before you can trigger. I'll send you some super duper follie growing dust so hopefully you won't have to wait so long til ER. I've haven't had experience with repronex but sorry to hear it's painful:( The things we go through...
