today is torture All I can think about is POASing. I think I'm gonna buy some HPT's today on my way home and do it tomorrow morning. I'm scared...is 8dp5dt a decent time to start (that would be tomorrow)? My beta was suppsoed to be 9dpt so it would have been only 1 day before beta but 2 now. I can't imagine holding out past tomorrow but I could try if you guys think its best. What do you think?

sancap - I waited until 2 days before beta both times before I used an hpt If you can buy them tonight and wait until tomorrow, you have more self control than I do! I had to use one right away once they were in the house

michele - OMG -wow! We are all pulling for you!! Hopefully you will be a record breaking success story very, very soon!!

katie - I haven't heard of the booster hcg shots before. When is your official beta scheduled?

shelby - when is your 1st u/s scheduled?

AFM - waiting on 3rd beta results today. If they are fine, I will have my first u/s in two weeks. The thought of another 2ww is driving me crazy already!!

Stats - it is not 'officially' scheduled yet, but from the e-mail that I received from the clinic, they like to do them 1 week after the weekly doubling beta check-which is Monday. So I am guessing they will do it on the 19th. I know what you mean about waiting. It's driving me looney!
Oh, and I talked to a guy that i dive with that lives in Manchester and I am going to e-mail him on some good places to eat. Can't wait to exchange pics!!!

Sancap - like Stats said, if you can wait, you have a ton of self control!

AFM - I nap everyday now, can't be without my sports bra for more than 20 minutes to take a shower, already pee about every hour, and have the worst indigestion ever!!!! Tums is my new best friend!

Shelby - I think I'll have to wait until Friday the 23rd! Augh. I wish they would call this afternoon already, but I bet they will make me wait it out all afternoon, like usual. LOL, two pregnant women deciding where to eat may be interesting. I'm having food aversions more than other food issues the past three days. I've been eating, just having to force myself because very few things seem good. The only appealing food has been pancakes (butter, no syrup), baked chicken (stuffed with cream cheese, spinach, and red peppers), and apples dipped in caramel (normally, I can't stand apples). I think I need to embrace the sports bra - I haven't been sleeping in one, but getting out of bed in the morning feels like lead weights falling down my chest. Ouch!

Hey Everyone-

My embies of four years survived I"m sooo excited~!! They graded them- I was told when they froze they were grade A, since they unthawed them they gave an implementation score one of 100% and the other 95%, so i'm really praying for both of my babies I don't feel anything yet haahahah I know it's way too early

Congradulations Michelle that's soo wonderful that your beta increased! Wishing you all the best. Please keep us in prayer and I promised myself I"m not going to cheat, I'll wait for the actual results.

michele- that is crazy!!! aren't you glad you didn't listen to them and give up hope. i am praying for you everyday. when i know you have another beta, i get nervous just looking to see what the results were.

kala and karenthescorpio- the bloating is from symptoms of OHSS. is sounds like you two don't have it too bad. i had my ER on 8/21 and my stomach has been bloated since! the week after, when i had my ET it went down a lot, but that was b/c of the cabergoline. once the embryos implanted it got HUGE! the HCG made it worse, and HCG from two embryos made it even worse. i looked about 4-5 months pregnant. i am still bloated now, but i'm getting to the point where i'm not sure if it's the babies or OHSS.

Karling I did PGD too. I think we discussed this already. It is so crazy how many eggs don't make it. I am getting the H1N1. We are having a lot of people in my state break out with it. Schools closing. I can't get it soon enoug in my opinion, but DH is nervous for me to get vaccine. But the RE had a sign in his office saying to get it, it is safe.

Syanna I dad u/s and B/w everyday for 5 days since things were moving fast. They originally told me every other day before my first u/s, but then they said I would be one of the everyday people. They don't want to miss things if they jump in size.

Karen I am so nervous for my PIO. I start Monday. Maybe I am freaking out for nothing.

Sancap I tested at 8dp5dt mid-day and got BFP. However I think HPT's are the devil and I would wait if I were you.

I am getting excited. My B-day is tomorrow. I told my DH all I want is to relax for 2 days after my transfer w/ nothing to do or worry about. I am sitting in the basement and veging. I also want gift cards for all the maternity clothes I am going to need to buy!!!

Michelle I forgot you. With my chemical my numbers started high and went down. 2 + HPT's that should have been over 50 HCG. Then first beta 18 and second 3. It seems good they are going up.

Michele-- My chemical was a 26 at 13dp5dt. I had been getting + HPTs for 5 days before, but ddnt call my office becasue I didnt know I should have. So it probably had started going down by the time I went for my beta. 2 days later it was 23. My progesterone was also low and I was on not on the PIO shots, now I always am becasue something tells me that maybe if my progesterone was keep high then I would have not lost the baby, who knows. A chemical is tech a m/c before an u/s can be performed. There is no research is fully explain what happened. But obviously there is implantation and then he embie either dies or lets go? Know one really knows. Again I am praying for you!

Oh yeah! Trigger 2nite at 9:30pm, and ER on Sun 10/11! I'm finally getting there! I really hope these two procedures is not all that bad. "I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it.."

Poor Kala! I’m so sorry! I get homesick, too, after a few days of being gone.

Stats – That is a crazy 3rd beta and before mine!!! I’m so jealous! I’d say you definitely have multiples! No food aversions yet for me. Just can’t handle bodily secretions. For instance, my dog slobbering this morning made me nauseated and even talking about throwing up makes me gag!

Lisa – Happy Birthday tomorrow! Eat lots of cake!

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for you warm wishes, thoughts and prayers. I can not believe how many people are praying for us, that must be why this is working so far!

Shelby- Aaaack! I saw you changed me to a bfp on the list! So nice to see, but I am so nervous. I know technically I did get a bfp, but it is still so early. I remember when I got my bfp with Ella, we shouted it from the roof tops! Of course we were always nervous, but never thought we would lose her. this time is different b/c it started so low. I think until we see a healthy hb on u/s, we will hold off celebrating and officially telling everyone we are expecting. It just makes me so nervous. But thanks for changing it, and here's hoping to not having to change it to the bad one.

Stats- yay for a great 3rd beta! Ugh, 2 more weeks of waiting for u/s, it's always the waiting that kills us.

neffi and lisa- sorry about both of those chemicals. That still scares me, but I guess it is good that mine are rising appropriately. I just implanted super late. I can not find any research that says success has come out of such a late implant, but I think I am defying odds already, so who knows what can happen!

lisa- happy early b-day! I am off to a wedding tomorrow, so I most likely won't be on here to wish you one tomorrow, so enjoy your day!

mjay- I know so many people are waiting for my results, it's crazy, I guess I have accumulated a lot of ivf sisters over the years on these boards. I am so nervous I will get bad news and have to let everyone here down. I hope your bloating goes down soon.

tonya- congrats on a successful thaw. Sounds like they did fantastic!

sancap- I am not even sure I can give POAS advice anymore. Before my recent events, I would say yes, 8dp5dt would be a good time to start. Most people will see a positive by that time, or the day after that, but my current situation makes me never want to use them again. With what is happening to me now, I would not have seen a positive on hpt until probably yesterday, which was 16dp3dt (which is crazy!).
