Karen...I had to ask for specifics. They figure most people dont know or wouldnt understand the specifics....so they dont bog you down with details, unless you ask. Hoping and praying for the best for you.

Karen - I just came out and asked what their specific grade was. I hate that you are having such a tough time with your clinic. I wish they would understand that you would like to know the all the detail of this process because it affects your family (and future family). I'm getting aggravated for you!

How far away from TN are you? I can hook you up with an amazing clinic!

Kala - OUCH! sorry about your pain! I had a lot of discomfort after my ER, but it finally went away a few days after the ET. I hope you feel better soon! Yay for the good looking embies! Good Luck tomorrow!

Katie - LOL about the HPT! I'm looking forward to hearing about your + poas!!!

AFM - I've gained 4 pounds since ER but I feel like I've gained 20! And the heartburn....OMG! I'm going to have one hairy kid(s)!!!

Hey ladies, Im new here....

I had my first ivf ...et on 9/28. On 10/9 my beta was 29, they told me they would liked to have seen it closer to 50. I dug around and found that my number really was about average...11dp3dt so that eased my mind a little, that and my hpt's are not getting lighter. Monday is another beta. today though, my boobs are killing me! Sorry for the TMI....itchy nips and my boobs feel like they are too heavy for my body and are just going to tear away! They are large anyways, but goodness! They arent sore on the actual breast, but all around, feels like they will break off! My tummy feels bloated. at times slight and quick cramps...Im scared. I hope this is all ok. The estradiol patch....left a nasty red rash on my tummy. I had to put on another one and im guessing im allergic to the adhesive on them and bandaids and med tape, because it all leaves my skin welted and itching. I am so venting right now, because i am certain my hubs has had his fill for the day! BESIDES soon i have to go have a PIO shot, fun fun!
i LOve these forums, so nice to have people who can relate!

Hey girls, ER today went well. 17 follies

. I'm sore now and been in bed most of the day. The first PIO was not that bad. Thanks Shelby for the 25' needle tip. I put some ice before and didn't even feel it. My transfer is schedule for thursday and beta is on 10.24.
Kala- why do you think you have OHSS? Hope you feel better girl.

HI Ladies-

I have a question, which I should I already know the answer but here it goes. If I had a transfer on thursday 10/8 day five, today is Sunday and my doctor says implantation normally takes place in three days. I don't feel anything hahahah The last time I was preg, I felt cramps, twinges, fatigue, this time I don't feel anything yet. The only thing I am currently experiencing is dry mouth but I'm not sure where that is from. Also, I had one little dot of blood and then it went away.

Is it to early for me to feel anything? When you ladies got your BFP, did you feel anything, and if so when?

Oh, the drop of blood i experienced was from my last pregnacy. I thought this 2 week wait would be a little better buts it not

Hey girls. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

tonyacheek24- my first beta is tomorrow and I've had no spotting or cramping to speak of really. The first few days I experienced a pull or twinge hear and there but after that nothing. I think everyone is different so try not to worry (I know that's hard). Are you going to POAS? I waited til 7dpt and got a positive! I did it gain this morning and another positive so I am hopeful for tomorrow!

jaydentd- wooohoooo for 17 follies!!! That's great! Now some embie doubling dust to you!

mrsreynolds- Welcome!! You would thing after getting a BFP the worring should be over...not so I guess. GL with you beta Monday...my first beta is Monday!!! I'm sure everything will turn out great. Praying for a nice high beta # for you Monday!

Destiny- I'm so sorry to hear about you BFN

I hope yo keep trying, please let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it.

shelbyrn0214- sounds uncomfortable to say the least! Hang in there, you know it'll all be worth it in about 8 or less months!!

karenthescorpio- I have to ask for details for the most part too. The embriologist came out and told me that the embies were A+ at transfer but oher than that I had to ask the questions...funny thing when I asked him how many cells the embies were he said 60-100. Everyone on here talks about 6 celled and 8 being the best so that confused be a bit...maybe it has to do with them being blasts at transfer or someting , I don't know. I feel really comfortable with my clinic so I trust them enough that I don't need to know every detail. That's whats unfortunate about your circumstances, I couldn't imagine going through what you've been through. It will be worth it in the end. PMA and BFP to you soon!

AFM- I did my second HPT this morning and positive again! I'm hoping for a nice high beta tomorrow...pleeeeeease. The stress never ends does it?

Hi girls -

Last night I had strong cramping. Absolutely no spotting, and believe me, I must have checked like 20 times! Today theres nothing,no cramping at all, but this horrible waiting is seriously driving me batty! At this point I just want to know either way. I'm trying to keep up the PMA, but today it seem to be missing! Like my mind!

karen -my first tranfer, they told me the embies were -" 1 is fast, 1 is slow, and 1 is on schedule"! That would be fine if I were Goldilocks, but this time I asked how many cells? If theres fragmentation? What grade are they? Some RE's dont want to overwhelm you w/ technical answers. Ask them outright. let us know how it goes. good luck to you!

kala -feel better, hon. You're almost done! PMA PMA!

shelby -zantac is your friend! I live w/ heartburn every day as is, I cant wait for it to get worse?!

mrsreynolds -Welcome! fingers crossed for your beta tomorrow!

tonyacheek24- that means 3 days past a 5 day transfer. Here is the chart for you to see what your little one are currently doing!! GL!

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

Jayden-wow! 17 follies!!! that is wonderful! I was pretty much on bedrest the whole time b/t ER and ET. I was super sore too and still am. But i hear it goes away soon. I thought maybe i had mild OHSS b/c of all the pain/soreness and i was so bloated i looked 5 months preggo. GROW EMBIES GROW!!!

AFM-I'M PUPO!!!!!! Woo hooo!!! After the doctor put the embryos in he said..."Your pregnant!" and I thought: until proven otherwise. It was cool cuz they showed me my embies on a screen before they put them in. We ended up transfering 3 embies (the docs said they wouldnt do 4 cuz of my age) and they look really good. im happy with three. i just hope they stick!

DH is being great...but he is kinda freaking out...he got mad at me cuz i sneezed. oh, also the dr didnt even do an u/s during the ET. He just used a speculum and put them in there. So i didnt have to deal with a full badder...that was nice.

Now I have to lay down for three days except to go to the bathroom and shower. Then, 2 days sitting/laying. After 5 days, i can go outside and walk a little more. Here comes the 2ww..1 in serbia, 1 in USA.

Hey girls, out of the 17 follies 16 were mature but only 7 fertilize with ICSI. I know I only need one but I was a little down after finding out less than half fertilize. My ET is schedule for a 3 day instead of 5 days.
Kala- Your PUPO YEY! How old are you if you don't mind me asking? My doctor insist we only transfer one because I'm 27. There is no way I'm gonna go through all of this for just 1. I'm ok with 2 embryo. Enjoy your bedrest and I'm sending you tons of PMA.
Sancap- It's almost time for your super high beta.
