I am officially PUPO! RE transferred 2 embies on saturday. Ive been on bedrest since and I am hoping the OHSS gets worse which will hopefully mean I am pregnant! I was glad I asked him about the dates though because originally the nurses told me to go for my Beta on 10/26 and RE said no thats too long so my Beta is now scheduled for 10/19...not too far away!

Except the girl I work with called in sick for tomorrow, so that is not going to help since I will have to do her work too. But in the words of the Beatles "Let it Be." Today is my conception day since I am putting in a 6 day blast in 6 days. WOO HOO!

Hi ladies - my ER was today and I am in pain. Very very crampy. Cannot even walk as much. They got 14 follies and said ET would be Day 3 (Wednesday). I hope I have some good ones. I hope the pain will go away by morning so I can return to work. The ET is not as bad, right? Oh and I will be starting the progesterone tomorrow night too..and i wish that was as painless as the trigger shot. Ok, im gonna go rest and wait for Desperate Housewives to come on now. Good luck to the rest of you and sorry to hear the bad news from some. Hope all goes well!

We survived our DD's first birthday weekend, and I broke away for a while from the rest of the family who is still here to check the website. I'll admit that my PMA is still lacking at the moment, but I'll get some rest over the next couple of days and then hopefully join the PMA crew.

Hey girls,
just a quickie, I had a really busy weekend. I feel so behind with personals, I was at a wedding all day yesterday that was an hour and a half drive each way, so I had no computer time at all. It was fun, but of course I did not drink, and when I was walking back to my car, I felt so sick, and I must admit, I was praying it was "morning sickness" at night.
It was weird to talk to all my friends yesterday because they all know we went through this again, and are all praying super hard and all wanted to know. It is hard to try and explain especially with people not familiar with ivf. So of course I told them it was a cautious optimism right now and I would hope to have a more definitive answer within a week or 2. I will see most of them again on halloween and I hope to be for sure by then.
Ok, I will definitely update tomorrow when I get my numbers and maybe I can catch up on some personals. I have to go give ella a bath before she passes out. She is soooo tired.

Hello everybody, first time in a forum.
im in my 2nd ivf cycle. Im currently in my 2ww which is horrible. All i do is read forums to see what other people are going through. This is my first time participating. My retrieval was 10-1-09, ET was on 10-05-09. My hcg test is this wed (10-14-09) which still seems like a lifetime away. I really dont have much symptoms of anything. My breast are no longer tender but i do have mild cramps. I fill more bloated than anything. Im 27 years old and im so scared that its going to be false. I have pcos and i really dont know how to deal with it.
do you guys its ok to do a hpt?

Jaydentd – Wonderful about the ER! Don’t let the fert rate discourage you! You have @ least one perfect embie in there that is going to snuggle in and call you Mom soon! Anything I can do to make this process a little less painful I will definitely try! PUPO today!
Tonyacheek – I had some twinges, but they weren’t very strong. Some ladies don’t feel anything and get a perfectly high BFP. The last thing we need to do is stress over it. Your little embie(s) will find a nice cozy spot with Momma!
Sancap – Woohoo!!! Beta day!!!BFP BFP BFP!!!
Katie – Don’t lose it, Girl!!! I had a day like that, too. I had almost AF like cramping, but no bleeding. I was treated for acid reflux about 10 years ago and had to take Prilosec twice a day. I still have it from time to time, but in the last week it seems like it’s constant. I will whine a little about it, but I am happy for it because I consider that a good sign!
Kala – PUPO!! I had the same OHSS feeling that you are describing! I was miserable! I hope it turns out to be nothing. I am so relieved things went well for you! So..how many days til you come home (not like you’re counting or anything)?
Prayin – Yay for being PUPO!!!!! LOL about WANTING the OHSS to get worse. We are awful!!! So glad you aren’t having to wait so long for your beta! Whew!
Lisa – A pedi sounds so good!!!! I almost went yesterday, but DH went to a canyon to hike and I couldn’t make myself leave the house! Instead I watched the Twilight movie for the 4th time. Only 5 more days!
Syanna – Oh my goodness! The ET is nothing compared to ET. Just take it easy and move slow. That’s what I had to do because fast movement made it worse. You will recover!
J&C – I bet DD had so much fun!!! I can’t wait til I’m planning parties!

So there is really no right or wrong answer. If you do, be prepared either way and understand that there is a possibility of a false negative. Personally, I did one just because I didn’t want the big letdown to be in front of my clinic’s staff. Fortunately, I didn’t have to worry about that, but be warned…. I haven’t heard of anyone on here taking just ONE. It is addictive even if you get a positive! Just keep your PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) and all will work out. Yay for Beta on Wed!!!

Well, I went for bw about an hour ago, I am sure my clinic will have results by noon, but they will be on lunch until one and I am sure will make me wait most of the afternoon. It was nice when they called friday by 11 am, but that was only b/c they closed at 12, so now I am back to the torture of waiting all day for the phone to ring....ugh. I will let you all know as soon as I know. If my number continues to increase the same way it did last week, I am expecting over 100, but all I need is 64 or higher for it to be sufficient.

Hi everyone,
Sorry to keep it short this time - I'll try to catch up on personals later. I had my IUI this morning, but I am a little concerned. I'm starting a new job tomorrow so we had to do the IUI today since my clinic only does IUI's between 8-9am even though they are open till 7pm!! So we ended up doing the trigger yesterday at 8am and then the IUI today at 8am. Anyone know of success with only 24 hours of trigger with an IUI??
