When I did my natural IUI's I had to do an ovulation test in the morning. My DH had to drive to the clinic to arrive at 9:15 and I had to call the office at 9:00 to tell them we were coming in. One time we did all this and they said they didn't have anyone there that day to wash the sperm and my DH had to be at another clinic, located about a hour away, within about 40 minutes or they couldn't do it. And this is after we both took the day off work and tested for a month. I love how clinics expect us to be there whenever they say to be there.

mili27- I know exactly what you mean by "all you do is read the forums" same here! Sometimes I feel like a freak because I'm additcted to the forums now but I just love these girls so much...they've help me get through this without going totally insane. Did you see the DPT chart I posted not too long ago, maybe that will help you stay focused and help you decide when to POAS if you decide to. I would recommend holding off as much as possible...maybe 2 days before beta. GL hon...BFP to you!

statsgoddess- Thanks, I can't wait either! And I can't believe all the waiting, just when you thin you are done...we wait for a u/s geez! Hang in there babe!

teachermom- I agree..I would rather have the swimmers in there earlier so they can start making their way to the prized eggies and they'll make it there just in time for ovulation! You are PUPO honey!!! Enjoy the moment!

AFM- I did beta around 10am this morning so I am waiting to hear back from the clinic. They said as long as I got it done before 12pm I would hear back the same day so it could be all day...I hope not.

Did anyone read the article in the NY Times about IVF and twins....freaked me out! I was probably 50/50 on wanting twins until I read that, now I'm just praying for healthy baby(s)! It said that 60% of twins are delivered prematurely and it had a couple of worst case senarios...very scary and sad

Sancap - My clinic posts results 2 different ways. Online and via phone message. We have gotten so close to the staff that I think they put me in as a priority (at least it makes me feel good to think that).

Well, DH is going hiking again and I am SO sleepy! I will will check back in as soon as I wake up to see those BBB's!!!!

Hi all-

I am trying to push away tears to type-BFN for me. I knew it was a LONG shot but I prayed and hoped this would be the time. We are at a point too where the doctor feels our only option is donor eggs. I don't know what to think-should I get a second opinion and try again or go with a donor? We are also looking at adoption but there are so many factors...I wish there was some easy, miracle answer for us.

Michele and Destiny-My heart is breaking with you both :( I will keep you in my prayers.

Sunshine We also looked into adoption and started the process. I can give you some info if/when you think about trying it. My Dr called and said there's a delayed in fertilization... I'm soo sad! My eggs are not fertilizing that means it ends here. They said they'll check again and call me..is there any hope?

Syanna - Any chance they are just a little late and the cycle could be okay? I'm not sure how many you had - this cycle we had 4 eggs - the next day they reported 3 had fertilized, but the next day all four were fertilized. We only know that because we made them go back out to the lab for a bunch of questions when we found out we were doing a 3dt. It makes me wonder how many times the late starters do occur.

Sancap - Congrats!!! How many dpt are you now? How many did you put back? Those numbers are pretty high - could be twins in your future! [/b]

Has anyone ever had to wait to get updates on fert reports when you weren't transfering this cycle? Today is Day 5 and I'm trying to see if our embies made it from day 3 to day 5....and if anything will be frozen. My nurse literally told me, well, they haven't told me anything and I don't see an updates in your records. So I said, call them and find out....and she seemed kind of put off to have to do that. I asked her what the big deal is and she said, well, if we did this for all our patients the embryologist would be slammed with calls. So I said, well what if I was doing a Day 5 transfer today...wouldn't they know my results...and she said, yes, they would but since you aren't transferring your case isn't addressed so quickly!!!! So I said, well who the hell is watching my embryos for development then? Regardless if I'm transferring or not, they have to watch them so they know if they can be froze and they are frozen at the proper time! So I had to leave a message for my doctor. Can you believe this frickin' clinic? It never ever ends. If you are in Nothern New Jersey, private message me and I'll tell you who they are so you don't waste your time with this place. They have made this process an emotional nightmare for me.
