Hello is there anybody out there I hope it has been so slow on the board because everyone is enjoying pregnancy as for me nothing new next ob appt is monday and just wondering if anyone has started the nursery yet and what goodies everyone has found.

Faith I have been following your post on the twin board and I am glad you are doing ok and that babies are growing great I read the boards a lot but havent had anything to post where did everybody go ???

Hi Girls...

I too have been reading some post and noticed that this thread has been quite.

Mandy, I am now starting to think about the nursey and quite excited. As we think it is a GIRL ..I have bought a few girly items..

We went to the BabyShow in London last weekend and got fab deals which were better than the internet prices. Must do alot of clearing up this weekend and get ready to decorate the nursery.

How about you ? Have you started ?

I am enjoying pregnancy and now on the 3rd Trimester..time flies..I am starting antenatal classes next week..

Hope everyone is enjoying pregnancy..we don't have long to go girls !!

Hi Sita I'm glad you are feeling well we have not started the nursery yet what we thought was a leak behind the wall turned out to be carpenter ants so it has been uphill with the room the house has been exterminated and the wall is put back so waiting to paint I go in there a couple of times a day and picture myself holding our little man and tears come to my eyes I can't wait as much as I thought I would take the time to enjoy my pregnancy I'm rushing it. Have you had your GTT yet i'm going in the morning and I don't se the doctor again until the 16th I'm still working I'm hoping to make it to atleast dec 20th before going on mat leave how much have you gained do far I think I'm doing ok only 14 lbs so far well guess I'm going to start my night time ritual of sleeping and peeing lol goodnight

Sorry for the late response. Have been so busy with work and home commitments lately.

Sorry to hear about the leak. I hope it is sorted now. Yes, it is quite exciting to paint the room and complete the decorations.We have not started painting yet but hoping to get onto it quickly as the weeks are passing by quickly..

DH and I have started our antenatal classes and it is going well so far. Yes, I was hoping to work until the 18th of Dec but I may need to leave a week early as my company has strict rules about how much leave you can carry forward.

What is GTT ? Not sure how much weight I have gained, much check next time I visit the GP.

How are you feeling these days? I feel I have expanded and need bigger clothes.. I am also experiencing heartburn and sleepless nights. Are you able to sleep well ?

Yes, where are the girls ?? I can see another thread for twins in Dec and Jan .. maybe they are there ??

Hope everyone is doing great. I started the thread and miscarried. Went through 7.5 hours of labor at 11 weeks. My baby should be born January 7th and I'm seeing a counselor to try to get through it with a little sanity. It's been a really hard year thinking how far along I should be every single day.

I was just looking through the old posts and the new ones. I am so excited for all of you that will be having your beautiful bundles soon. Enjoy that wonderful baby smell and get sleep every chance you get.

Also, thank you again to all of my friends that were so supportive when all of this happened.

Heather I'm glad to see that you are still around I had a misscarriage at 17 and still think that my little one would have been almost 12 by now for years I taught myself it was a blessing and god knows what he's doing but when I finished school got married and did things by book you could say I never thought getting to where I am now would have been such work it goes to show me that everyday changes and that every challenge is for a reason and I pray that while these days are changing they bring great blessings to you and dh and when you try again stay strong and I know that you will have your day and be a great mom I can't wait to read that you are pg again and will be watching out for you take care sweetie and god bless Mandy

Sita how are you holding up I'm getting realy anxious about being done I haven't been on in awhile I did get the nursery done which is a miracle in itself all of November was spent in the hospital I had phenomonia in both lungs I was given a lot of steroids and antibiotics and although I only got one dose of tamiflu I'm still worried it may have some effect on top of this my pregnancy brought out my gitelman syndrome which is where my kidneys waste my potassium magnesium and sodium with all this goes had in hand with Gestational diabeties so I see 2 doctors and dietician every week I have quit working now and happy to say that so far little man is holding in there my next growth u/s is next Monday have you gained a lot of weight I have gained almost 17 lbs and am hoping to weigh less than I started well I hope all is well with you I can't wait to hear your progress Mandy
