sayanna- that is wonderful news! I am sooo happy for you. My family and close friends know but none of them have the slightest idea of what we have been going through. That's why this forum is a lifesaver! I'll be looking forward to hearing about all your transfer on the 14th!!! You'll be PUPO soon!

Wow - sad news today on this board. My PMA is down (surprise, surprise), but I'm hoping for an increase quickly. I was going to POAS Wednesday, but I think I'll make that Thursday instead.

mili - Welcome to the board!! I also have PCOS and am trying to also figure out how to deal with it. We have a DD from our first IVF cycle, and I'm in the 2ww for our current cycle.

katie - Our beta is on Friday. Ok - just hang in there with POAS. You know they are evil!!! Give it another day or two. I'm praying for you!!! :D

shelby - I am so glad that your betas are great and everything is going well. You are still the POAS Queen, and I can't thank you enough for the smaller PIO needle suggestion. My hips are barely sore and soooooooooooo happy. :D Heaven!!!

sancap - CONGRATULATIONS MAMMA!!!! I'm looking for the potent PMA!!! I need some!! Thanks!

Michelle - I don't even know what else to say, but that I am so, so very sorry.

rayofsunshine - I am so sorry. I know you've been through quite a lot.

johannanita - Our RE lets you go after the first or second u/s also.

syanna - Hang in there!!! And GROW EMBIES GROW!!!![/b]

CAN ANYBODY RECOMMEND A PHARMACY WHERE THE INJECTABLES ARE NOT AS EXPENSIVE. :D

shelbyrn0214- I love your updated. It keeps me updated on all the ladies in the forum. Thank you so much. I hope to be on your beta list 

J&C- Well i could not help my self. today at 11:00am i purchased a hpt. And to my fear it came back negative. Even though i knew it was going to be negative. However i had some hope that for the first time i would have a positive pregnacy when i pee on a stick :) .
i only have 2 days left, do you think i still have a chance it can be possitive even though the hpt showed NEG. Im so confused its only 2 days before the blood work. I also bought a BASAL Themometer to see if my temp was elivated- it was 98.79. So far i've had no spotting or bleeding, which to some might sound like good news, right? However, i have PCOS and i can go 6 or 7 months without a period. What do you think? One this cycle i had 22 eggs retrieved, 12 fertilized, and only 3 survived day 5 (not great quality). Have you had better luck as far as quality.
Did you do a hpt the day of blood work? Was it positive?

CT_Michele – I know how you feel. On my 1st cycle my beta was “7” – not so great but there was 5% of hope. On second beta it went up 1 point =8. I felt horrible thinking it would actually double. I hope to see you in the forum when you start your next cycle.

katie99 – Thank you – im really nervous about Wednesday. I did a hpt today and it was negative. Its so close to the date that it worries me its accurate.

Johannanita – ur right, I did a hpt today and it was negative. I still have two left but I don’t think im going to try another one. Its too hard to keep positive. My mind is set more on my blood work coming neg. than positive because of that stupid hpt.

sancap14 -I should of listen to you, now im really sad. I don’t know if I can do another cycle. Although I should since my insurance covers 100% with no limit of cycles. Of course it doesn’t cover medication which is still expensive. This cycle I spend $2900 on injections. I had no money so it when I a credit card. I know its worth it.

Good Morning ladies. My RE called this AM at 7:50 EST (unheard of for them) with an embie update. I guess my borderline freakout yesterday worked. hehehee We have 2 "beautiful" blasts... and maybe one or two more...will know today the final number. I'm so shocked (and happy) to say the least. I really had prepared myself that none would make it the "worth freezing" stage. So...good news today. Thank goodness! I neeeeeeeeded it! PMA to all! This is a good news day!

mili- try the Apothecary Shop, www.theapothecaryshop.com. They are based out of Arizona, but very helpful, friendly and the cheapest I found. And actually when my insurance said my drugs weren't covered, they did research and found out that I should call my medical side and we found out they were covered! I highly recommend them if you need to find a place.

hi ladies. sorry my post the other day was short. I was in a crappy mood and I did not have much time. Thank you for all the kind words. I am ok with things. I knew it was a bust when we got 2 at ER. the odds were not with me.

DH and I will move forward with another cycle. I started BCP yesterday. I spoke with my nurse and I guess they want to add repronex and pregnyl (versus ovidrel) this cycle. Do any of you know what repronex is for? Does it help with # eggs or quality???? I have PCOS. I hear the drug has male hormones in it which can be detrimental to those with PCOS...I guess it can harm egg quality??? Do any of you know anything abouty this???

CT~ I am so sorry hun. I was rooting for you like the biggest fan you had....sorry its ending this way. I hope you find strength and will post when you feel up to it. It sucks when good deserving people have to fight this hard!

Katie~ any news?

Sancap~ congrats again....great numbers!

Well I am not sure where I fit in...since I started BCP do I still remain on this thread or bump to Nov since that is when ER and transfer will be????

Had my first PIO shot last night (that I have been dreading!!!) DH did great. No pain, just a little pressure. Thank you all for your advice on how to do it.

Today my bum is a little sore. Hopefully after many shots, it won't be a lot sore. However I feel like crap! I have had a mild cold/virus since Friday (headache, sore throat, itchy nose). Today I am so tired, nauseous, and have a BAD headache. Is it the PIO? I hope not, because I have a long time to go on it.

Lisa- great to hear that the PIO shot wasn't as bad as you expected! Isn't the anticipation 1000% worse? The nurse at my ER told me to massage with a warm compress for a few minutes afterwards...and walk around for 10 mins or so...and not to just jump in bed b/c it'll make you a litte more sore and welt up the next day. I only did 2 nights worth of PIO before my transfer was cancelled but her tips must have helped b/c I was barely sore at all. Maybe after 6 weeks that would be a different story, I don't know...but tell your DH to keep up the good work!

Just want to vent

Post by tonyacheek24 »

Hi Ladies-

Hope everyone is doing well and great things are going on. Before I start to talk about myself how is everyone doing?

I can't wait to go to bible study tomorrow/revival tomorrow as I sure need to be in the prescence of the lord right about now. Of Course I'm a wreck on this 2ww as expected. Today is 5dpt and every little thing that I feel I try not to associate it with pregnacy but how can I not for god sakes, I have two embies (00) in there-
The only change I feel is alot of gas and lower back pain and lower pressure in my abdomen, and I feel like my uterous is stretching but not for sure. I don't know if this stuff is in my mind because I want that BFP so bad. I keep trying to remember when I was preg with my daugther and the symptons but I know each pregnacy is different. Although I would love someone to say, that's from the pregnacy, it's probably from the prog hahahah or maybe not :) but I'm staying positive and hopeful which is a better mood than i was yesterday. I talk to my babies quite often and then there is that little devil saying, you're talking to the fries and hamburgers, then on the other hand I'm thinking that's the babies saying "I'm here mommy, I'm trying to get your attention hahhaha. Man I have cried, I have prayed, I have done everything as my hormones are all over the place, but today I am just standing still, smiling and happy saying to myself; Lord you may not come when I want, but you are sure right on time.

I am a true believer in GOD, and I love him so much that I can't help but to speak of him. I thank you ladies for listening to me vent today as I sure didn't want to discuss this with anyone else. I will continue to pray for everyone that the lord will give you all the desires of your heart!

Hello All - I'm feeling much better today. :D My PMA is going up, and I know that I have no control at this point. I'm just anxious to get to my beta on Friday to find out our news. Where is everyone today????? I know yesterday was a pretty bad day on the board, but I still need everyone!!! :D :D :D

mili - I only POAS the day before my beta, and I've never figured out exactly when the best time to start POAS is. Maybe the POAS Queen (shelby) can fill you in on the specifics. With our first IVF cycle, we had 8 mature eggs and 4 fertilize. On this cycle, we had 8 mature eggs and 7 fertilize. With this second cycle, I start stims with both follistim and menopur (usually they hold off on menopur for a couple of days, but with our second cycle, we started the menopur with the follistim on the same day). I think this really helped my egg quality. With our first cycle, I did POAS the day before my beta, and it was positive. It was my first positive on a HPT too. Hang in there!!! If I remember right, I think your beta is on Wednesday.

karenthescorpio - YIPPEE for your embies!!!! I can't remember if they are actually going to let you transfer, or if they are planning to freeze them for now. I'm so soooooooooo glad that after everything you've been through, that you have some beautiful embies growing. :D

lisa - I only got headaches from Lupron.

Hey Ladies,
I'm kinda crashing your forum. I was very involved with the April/May forum, but after two failed (fresh + frozen) I was afraid to get too involved in this last FET we just completed. I was keeping myself emotionally distanced from it all.
As of yesterday, I got my 1st beta back and it was 220- BFP- Finally-Thank you Lord.
I have now joined the "Parents after treatment" forum for June 2010 and saw that you guys had a fair number of ladies with BFP's. I would love to encourage you to join us in this forum as well.
Also, interesting and motivational story about HPT's. I did them since Saturday and they all seemed negative. Closer to yesterday, it started to get a slight pink line after about 5 minutes, but they tell you not to read it too late. My DH even said, sorry, it doesn't look like it worked. I said there is a little bit of a line if you really look and as he looked at it, he gave it back to me and had that look like he felt bad because I was stretching for it. That was yesterday morning with very concentrated urine. I felt prego a little this time, because in past, my boobs would stop hurting, and this time, they were still really sore and big feeling. So I kinda figured I had a very low level of HCG, but that it might be a tubal or blighted ovum pregnancy, and nothing viable. I was very blown away when the nurse called and said it was 220!
Goes to show you have to keep hope alive and not to always go by the HPT's. The one I had was supposed to be sensitive to 25 ug/ml(?) which is low, so don't know reason for such confusing results.
Just thought I'd share a little story to keep things hopeful
Good luck to all, Melanie
