Hi Everyone,

I did go to the expo on Sunday. It was actually alot smaller than I thought. We did get a free bottle set, a whole box of formula and some other stuff, which was cool. My Step-Son, who is almost 10 was totally grossed out when he fugured out what a booth selling breast pumps was all about. It was great to see all the different strollers, but of course nobody had any triplet specific stuff :(

I have my last appt eith the RE on Tuesday and then my 2nd OB appt the folowing week. I got right innto the Maternal Fetal group at Northwestern because of my status of having 3 on board.

Still no real M/S. I do get sick feeling if I don't eat frequently. I have also been very tired and getting up to go in the middle of the night multiple times. My biggest annoyance right now is the hormones. I've been having crying jags on and off for a few days now and can't snap put of it. Work and class are both stressing me out and trying t figure out all the financial issues of having triplets. Hopefully when we get a game plan down I'll feel better!

have a good rest of the day everyone.

Faith
It's Triplets!

Faith - It doesn't take much for me to cry these days either. Good luck on your stressers and hope they ease up soon. And yeah! that you don't have m/s - you are truly blessed! I have also read that some formula and diaper companies will give free products to those carrying 3 or more. It might be worth the effort to check websites. Also, I would think local churches would be very helpful.

JG- If you "wait" for this doctor, would he/she have time to "treat" you? I would want a dr. that is available at any time (knowing how unpredictable pregnancies can be). If you end up spending your visits with a midwife when truly wanting to see an OB, then it's probably not a good fit. I would let your RE know about the wait to get in and see if there is another recommendation.

May - you go ticker queen! Have you signed up for emails about pregnancy development? What to Expect has one as well as Parent.com. It's so exciting to read about the baby's development each week!

LuckyOne - I hope your OB warned you that the laugh/tinkle, sneeze/tinkle, anything/tinkle routine can hit you in the last trimester as well. With my son, I felt for sure that my bladder would never go back to be able to "hold it", but it does thankfully.

MJay - good luck on your new dr. appt! I hope you can get in soon.

Allie - Great news on your sono! Congrats!

Kristy - Great news for you too! When is your next sono?

Gi - I'm a worrier too! I still look in my underwear each time I go to the restroom - secretly praying I don't see any blood. I don't think that will ever go away!

AFM - I graduated from my RE yesterday! PTL!!! We had an u/s and the baby was moving all around. Such a miracle to witness. The baby is measuring on time with a great heartbeat. My first OB appt is on Monday.

Can you all believe we are almost out of our first trimester? I could cry just thinking about how quickly the time is going. Just think, in a month or two we will know if we are having boys or girls - or both!

Faith- I know what you mean about finding triplet stuff, it's hard to find the twin stuff that I want too. Good for you getting into Northwestern. I'm having a hard time just getting an appointment where I need to go. I'm so frustrated because I called a couple of weeks ago and they said I need to be released from my RE before I could even make an appointment, so when I called to make an appointment earlier this week, they said they didn't have any availability for awhile, I wanted to yell at them (yes, my hormones are crazy too, I cried when I was watching The Office wedding episode) "If you would have just let me schedule it a couple of weeks ago, this wouldn't be an issue!". Anyway...

For those of you out there with multiples, the store Buy Buy Baby (not sure if it's nationwide or not, but they have a website) gives you a multiples discount, you buy the first item at regular price and they give you 10% off the remaining items. Just let them know. We ended up getting carseats from there and it ended up being a great deal since these particular carseats never go on sale. If you haven't been to a Buy Buy Baby, try it! I get super overwhelmed walking in to a Babies R Us, but this store is like heaven!

gi- I've been thinking about you, how's the spotting? Did you call the doc and let them know? I know brown spotting is okay, but remember to call them if it gets too stressful. Remember, if it's keeping you awake at night....

Lucky- I'm sure your baby will catch up in no time. As long as it's growing and that little heart is still beating, you're good! Try not to worry about it too much, especially if doc said it was completely fine.

hey ladies!

faith- glad to hear you were able to get in so fast! good luck.

jg- don't know what your insurance is like, but today i just started calling docs at rush. i told my first choice was loyola, but they are horrible to get in contact with. i was told that i would not get an appt until 11/12 and that was with an OB not a maternal/fetal doc! i got in for next thurs at rush's maternal/fetal medicine group, which is very close to my job, and they gave me a contact for a regular OB that doesn't deliver but will see me in the time being. i agree, they are making us wait too long with twins. i'm not sure what that's about. it doesn't feel right to me either. i know what you mean about the exhaustion. it's like nothing i've ever experienced!

and the crying...my best friends love Hooter's cuz it's cheap. we decided to go out to dinner and they out voted me with Hooter's. i absolutely hate Hooter's! i started literally crying and whining to DH b/c i didn't want to go. he just laughed at me, then i started laughing at how ridiculous i was being.

is anyone else eating constantly! i eat about once every 90 minutes and i've lost weight! i'm not talking small snacks, i eat sandwhiches, pasta, beef stew, two apples at a time, taco salad. i might eat all of that before i get home at 9:30 at night!

Great news Fitz!

Mjay - if someone wanted me to go to Hooter's, I'd cry too!

Sorry about your scheduling problems JG. I hope everything works itself out.

AFM, today has started off great. No m/s yet and breakfast was actually enjoyable! We are taking our DS (who is 1 yr in a few weeks) to a pumpkin patch this weekend. The holidays are going to be so much fun this year! Just think about where we will all be this time next year. How exciting!

Hi Ladies,
Had another u/s this morning and everything was great. Babies are moving around and waving, it was so fun to see. I am totally emotional about it right now. For some reason, all week, I felt like something was wrong, even though nothing bad happened, so I was almost bracing myself for scary news today. I'm so glad that it all ended up okay. I have to say that it truly is amazing witnessing them getting so big and developing recognizable features! I must admit though, i'm a little scared that they will have heads as big as my husband's :-)

Cheryl- Sorry I didn't answer yesterday, we must've posted right at the same time and I didn't see it. Glad your morning has started off good. My m/s kicked in within 10 minutes of waking up this morning. I was outside with the dogs and didn't think I would make it back in. I live in a townhouse, so that would have been a little embarrassing if the neighbors saw/heard (i'm super loud when I get sick!). You're right on about the doctor concerns, I was feeling exactly that way. Like what if something is wrong and they can't "fit" me in. My coworker, who had twins, eased my concerns a little bit and she said "once you're in, you're in, it's the getting in that's the hard part". I guess that made me feel a little bit better. I definitely plan on speaking up for myself though if I feel like i'm not being treated properly. I think it's my parental protectiveness kicking in :-).

Fitz- Happy graduation day! I'm glad to hear all three babies are doing well! How exciting!!!!

mjay- Love the Hooters story. I know what you mean, I started laughing as soon as dh asked me "are you crying watching "the office"?". Too funny. My crabbiness is like nothing i've ever experienced either and I know i'm being crabby, but I just can't seem to stop myself until I get my way. Oh, the joys of pregnancy.

I hope you ladies have a great weekend!

Oh, by the way, both hb's were in the 160, 170 range today, so with those numbers, i'm going to go ahead and guess that it's 2 boys.

Hi ladies,
sorry I have been missing for so long. You are all in my prayers and I think about you ladies everyday. My grandmother passed away, I got a new job, and just been so busy and stressed that I havent had time to post. I have been trying to keep up with the posts but I have alot of catching up to do. I hope everyone is doing ok and the all our bundle of joys are doing well.

AFM: Im doing great. i will be 11 wks tomorrow, I have a little morning sickness. I'm at my regular ob and everytime I go for an ultrasound the baby is getting so much bigger and jumping around. I wish I could just feel it already. I had a few scares of bleeding and ran to the ER but the baby was fine both times. I called back my RE and they said because I am pregnant with 2 sacs but I only have 1 baby that the other sac is trying to come out but once I see blood I freak out so better safe than sorry. But the empty sac is getting much smaller than the sac with the baby so I think its just that. Other than that im working hard and trying to stay awake. I've been sooo tired.

Talk to you guys soon. Happy and Healthy pregnancies to all.

Hi Everyone,

Mjay - I also love that Hooters story. I would probably feel the same way

Ladybug - I think all of us freak when we spot or bleed. I had that last week, then a week of nothing and yesterday I started bleeding again. It is not a lot, according to my doc, but it is always worrisome. Largely, because I do not feel anything and have no pg symptoms physically either. Just one more week for the critical stage for you, though.

JG - I feel the same way. Every time I hop on the OBGYN chair, I am bracing myself for bad news. Have you had a 3D ultrasound where you see the facial features?

AFM - Except for the little bleeding that started again yesterday, nothing much going on. My next U/S is on November 5th. My doc said I could come earlier if I wanted to. I am wondering if the little bleeding warrants going in earlier. My husband seems to think I am being paranoid since the doc said a little bleeding can occur, as long as it is not like a real peirod bleeding or anything, it is fine. Just not sure what to do. I feel like I have been there so often already. I am sure they are used to treating paranoid pregnant women, it's their job, but realistically there is little they can do. I put myself on some rest and sent DH out for shopping today.

Hi Gi -

I am so sorry to hear this. It is so unfair that you have this happen to you multiple times now, and after such a difficult treatment. I wish you all the best and hope you and DH will try again.

Defttonesmo- I stopped taking both the PIO and Estrace a week ago. My behind has never been happier.

I just had my first OB appt and the baby is doing great. He/she was taking a nap, but started to wake up just at the end. Next appt. in 3 weeks for them to do the screening tests (measurements, trinomy, etc.)

Hope everyone is doing well.
