June 2010 Babies yet??

Hi Girls,

Hope you do not mind if a guy joins in. Wife and I using a surragot had our 2nd IVF transfer on the 29th of Sept. 2 Frosties. On the 8th first Beta was 280

and the 10 beta was 820

. The surragot works in the medical field and had a test today. She scored a beta of 13,049

. u/s scheduled for 22nd. We calculate a June 16th due date unless it is multibles. I have been looking at the the message boards for advice and learning about this process. It is very calming to see that other people are having similar issues and success. The posts are helping since we do not have a lot of contact with carrier, talking and texting every few days.

Welcome, no sexism here. I am happy you joined and a big huge congrats to you. Holy Moly HCG's!!!!!!
Wow, that is fantastic. I also have my first u/s on the 22nd. I am due June 20th, if all goes well, and I get my third beta results today.
Mine was:
220 and 530 (10dp5dt and 12dp5dt)
Did you guys do a 3 or 5 day transfer with your frosties?
Well look forward to chatting with you. I agree, it helps to have people that understand what your going through. Plus it helps me to get through to each milestone. It seems like the waiting is terrible.

Thanks, Those were 5 day. We tried a fresh cycle back in July, we had 10 embroys froze 8. Those betas were not that good 106 then 185. Then for the second try they took out 2 but they did not respond well so they took out 2 more that morning. We have 4 left, so we were really hoping this time it worked. It was a very long day waiting on the 10th for the phone call with the results.

Melanie- thanks! Yes, this is my first pregnancy! We are very excited but also very nervous since it's soo early. I calculate my due date to be June 27th. Definitely having symptoms. The reason I POAS was because I kept waking up feeling sick and I even took a nap one day! I am very blessed that I dont have to get up and go to work so I can ride the feeling out in the mornings!

Barken- Congratulations!! Great Betas! I too had a failed fresh cycle earlier this year and really have my fingers crossed with this frozen one.

Hi guys looks like I am going to be joining you all!!! I did a donor egg cycle and on 8dp5dt I tested positive (very clearly) on HPT I get my beta tomorrow

I am so excited. I had a miscarriage Last year but I can already tell my betas will be better!!!

Hi Everyone! This is the first time I have allowed myself to peek on this board...I got a BFP on Oct. 12th!!! so I am hoping for a June baby/babies (if they both took) we've had kinda high betas so far but I know that you can't really go by that so we'll see on the 28th if there are 1 or 2 in there! i don't have a due date yet but I'm thinking it'll be sometime late June.

Congrats Poohgirl!! I had a m/c last year too so I constantly worry about the same happening but I too have a better feeling about this time. GL with some Big Beta numbers!!!

shelby- I am soo happy to see you on here! Can't wait for your results tomorrow!!!

melanie_100- looks like we are very similar on dates...I was 10dp5dt and had my 1st beta on 10/12 (292) and second beta on 10/14 (633) as well. Going in for a 3rd on Tuesday then u/s on the 28th. OK...here goes the 20 questions! What was your 3rd beta...you haven't posted yet!!!? You are sooo lucky you are getting an early u/s...I'm jealous! I can't wait to hear your results! Do you have a due date? If so, do you think mine would be the same since our dates are the same? Can't wait to hear from you!

DillysGirl- GL for a BBB tomorrow!!!!

barken- So cool to have you aboard- it's nice to get a man's perspective once in a while! Congrats on those amazing betas!!

Cork Girl- This is my first IVF too! Guess we are lucky so far that we've only had to go through this he!! once so far...I am just over 4wks preggers and also quite worried but trying to keep it under control. They say that once you hear the heartbeat, the chances of m/c go down drastically so that should be real soon for you right??!!

I think thats everybody so far!! I am glad you are all here and I can't wait to get to know you all better in the coming 8 months!!!

Sancap- How cool. We're in the exact same boat as far as ET and even beta's!!!! Your due date will be the same as mine and is June 20th- Father's Day! I thought I had good betas-wow, yours are fantastic. Makes me feel better that maybe there is one little bean in there. I know it's not complaining but honesty when I say we would much prefer a singleton pregnancy. My 3rd beta which was on Friday is 1500. I feel that this pregnancy is strong and hope that I see little heartbeats at my appt on the 29th. I have the first appt for u/s on 22nd at my insistence, but only expect to see fetal sac(s). I just want to know how many are in there at this point. We'll will be very close in this entire process- how cool.

Poohgirl- Welcome! You've been through a lot so this is so wonderful that you have that big BFP

I wish you the best and am glad you joined.

Shelby, Poohgirl, and Dillysgirl-Good luck with u/s and betas. Keep us posted.

AFM- I am so tired- holy hanna. Had the parent's in law in town this weekend though and spent last week cleaning up before they came. Tonight I am so tired, I can't even sleep from being overtired. Other than that my girls being sore and enlarged, and my drop in blood sugars, I am doing great. No morning sickness, knock on wood.
Well I'm going to go and try to sleep.

melanie_100- shelby's numbers are very close to ours too so I can't wait to see what her u/s says today!!! That is very cool that we are so close in dates and numbers...exciting! I noticed you also have endo too so not only are we IVF sistas with close dates we are also endo sistas! I love that the due date is the 20th too!! How cool is that to be on Father's day! I am on the fence about the whole twins thing...50/50 It's so much safer and easier to have a singleton but I think it would be kinda cool to have twins. DH and I have been looking at youtube videos of twins and it's hilarious. I'm torn so I'll be happy either way of course! Just want them to be healthy right!

SANCAP- Anyway I could get your real name? I feel funny calling people by their logins, but I understand privacy as well.
There is a cool HCG calculator at http://babymed.com/Tools/pregnancy/hcg/Default.aspx
It only gives you room for two of your Hcg's but you can just do the 2nd and 3rd one the next try after you get yours. Here's the thing, I have a forum buddy that got prego the first time I had IVF (I had BFN), she is now 31 wks prego with twins. I asked her her beta numbers and they are on the avg to high side of the chart you'll see on that website. Ours, especially yours are off the chart to the high end

So I am definately anxious to see how Shelby does today. I hope she updates us soon. Hint Hint Ms Shelby

Shelby- BTW- to truelly read your numbers I need to know if you had a 3 or 5 day transfer since that makes a difference in comparing betas?

Well to the rest who had betas today, we are dying to hear how it goes. Good luck and let us know.

melanie- shelby posted on the sept. cycling thread...she's having twins! (I hope she doesn't mind me breaking the news to you) I'm freaking out now. Thanks for the chart! Shelby also had a 5dt if I can remember correctly. I have my 3rd beta tomorrow so I'm excited to see what that one looks like!

Amy-Thanks for letting me know about Shelby. I am shocked. Looks like we're possibly carrying twins too if the numbers are indicative. God I think Thursday will never come. At least on Thurs. you'll have an idea of how many sacs you have also since you have to wait for u/s. Wow what a rollercoaster.
Are you having any symptoms yet?

Melanie- I've been tired a little here and there but then I think that may be because I've had such a busy week at work last week, but it's an exhausted kind of tired not just tired (does that make sense?) so maybe that is due to being preggers...maybe not. Then yesterday I started getting a little nausous but i was riding in the back seat of a car smooshed with my friend and her baby in a baby seat so I was thinking maybe I was getting car sick or something but it also could have been nausea from being preggers so who knows?? how about you?
