Dillysgirl- Congrats! :D  :)
That's great....I'm so happy for you guys!

Amy- I have been very tired also. Like crazy exhausted tired kinda thing. I don't really have much energy. I have also noticed by boobs of course, their getting bigger, heavier and tmi- but the veins to them are more pronounced- I noticed this also when I was prego with my son.
I have no nausea-yet. I read it usually starts at around 6 weeks, although I know people who have it from the get go. I didn't throw up with my son, it was more smells that bothered me, so hopefully it will be the same. I also can tell I get more winded easily and my heart is beating faster. I am very thirsty also, since our bodies start holding on to extra fluid. My heart was always very sensitive when I was prego with my son. I even got a heart monitor just to make sure things where Ok, which they determined it was just due to the pregnancy. But my heart would race all the time. It got worse the further along I got. I think I notice it more now since it is my second time around. The first time your oblivious to a lot of the symptoms.
I have also been cramping a good bit more than I'd like. Especially if I'm doing too much. I really have to tell myself to take it easy since it scares me I might hurt the bean(s). Also, instead of being crazy hot like you get later on in pregnancy, I have been so cold lately. I can't seem to ever warm up and am constanly covering myself up. Don't know what's up with that
Well, you probably didn't want to know all those symptoms! I'm sure I have some more I'm forgetting about.
Happy to have them though, in fact down right grateful
Talk to you later, Melanie
PS. What kind of work do you do....I hope your not on your feet too much.

My first beta was 14dpo and was 567, went up to 1302 at 16dpo, and 3016 at 18dpo...any bets on how many are in there?? LOL I just hope I find out everything is going well on Friday, regarless if it is one or more than one :)

Hey stats! Good to see you over here!! Yeah I bet you, me and Melanie are all loaded up with twins (if you can tell anything from the numbers). I can't wait til your u/s now on Fri. and Melanie's on Thursday...I'm living vicariously through you, melanie, and shelby since we are all so close in dates. Yay!

Melanie- Now that you mention it I have definately been short of breath lately too. I've had some cramping here and there too and it scares me also. I am the same way though I just take a deep breath and settle down everytime I get a cramp. I am a realtor/realtor assistant so I am at a desk most of the time doing administrative work but at times I have to show property and run errands but its not too stressful...love it actually. The woman I work with is awesome, she's been talking about how she's going to get a fax/printer machine for me so I can work from home after the pregnancy and such...love her, she is one of my best friends too! What do you do? Thanks for all the symptoms...it's nice to know so I can attribute certain things to the pregnancy and such!

It's true! Twins for us! Melanie..... you're well on your way!!! We are making up quite a group here!

Dillysgirl - That is a great beta!!!!! Congrats prego girl!

Sancap - Thank you for letting these ladies know. I have not been thinking straight today and to top it off I have physically felt like crap! I have no energy, constantly hungry, but the thought of food makes me sick! ARG! There's no happy medium. Bright side: only a few more months of this and hopefully smooth sailing from then on out.

Stats - My $ is on Triplets for you, girl!!!

Due date is June 13, but of course with twins, that might be pushed up to May. Hope it's ok if I stick around here and wait it out.

Hey Ladies, glad to hear us little pregos are all doing well.
Barken- You hanging in there. I know it must be hard to be pregnant but not be involved in it physically. At the finish line is the ultimate goal, and from your #'s it may involve two prizes :D :D Keep us updated!
Shelby- Mega Huge Congrats :P :P TWINS!!!
I am so happy for you and the fact that you saw the heartbeats is wonderful. You must be on cloud 9...at least emotionally. I feel so bad that you feel sick, and hungry and tired. Not to be mean but it was kinda cute and I got a little smile. Any other situation we would be cursing, but with us, it's acceptable to feel like crap. I hate to brag, but no morning sickness for me. Didn't have it with my son though, so hope it's the same this time around. I still think that I only have one bean in there though, and that helps. Guess I'll find out Thursday.
Amy- Great Beta! Bet your psyched. I'm glad you have a job that is for the most part off your feet. It does sound like you have a great boss and your very lucky for that. I am a former Labor and Delivery nurse. Right now I am mostly at home trying to be a good Mommy and Wife. I was very busy up until end of Sept. and we decided I needed to cut back a lot in order for the stress level to be lower since we've had two failed IVF's before this BFP. Good news is I'll be able to help with OB questions. Don't know it all but I'll do my best
Stats- Do you remember me from the April/May Cycling buddies? I recognized your name right away. I am so happy for you. I know what it's like to have IVF fail and how hopeless it can feel. I had to take a break from it for a while because it was just too much emotionally. Now we're both prego  How awesome and we can go through this experience together once again. I agree with Shelby. Might have triplets in there. Your numbers are over the roof, at least twins :D :D
Dillysgirl- How did DH react when you finally reached him? I bet he was in shock....a happy shock.
AFM- I had no energy yesterday and didn't do much of anything. Today I had lots of energy, even went for a long walk with the family 8) Looking forward to my U/S on Thursday. DH can't go because of work, so I am planning on doing my best to video record it. My mom will be in town and is going with me. Kinda makes me feel bad that she'll find out before he does whether we have one or two beans in there. He had a choice though so I guess that's the way it will be.
Hope everyone a good night's sleep, Melanie

Had my second beta today and it is not as high as I hoped for. Went from 150 to 267. My clinic usually only does two betas but they want me to do a third in 6 days. I think it's torture to make me wait 6 days! My RE says that I have nothing to worry about but I cant help thinking differently. I will be working on staying positive as my torture begins!

Dillysgirl- Sorry to hear that your betas didn't double, but their very close. Here's my advise (not that you asked :D ). I am not quiet when I want something. My RE only does 2 betas also, but even though mine doubled, I requested a third. I also requested to have a 5.5 wk ultrasound in addition to my 6.5 wk u/s just because I didn't want to wait to see what was in there. He obliged to both. I figure if I want it and I'm paying for it, and more importantly it eases my mind, which I think is the best benefit to a newly pregnant IVF girl, then give it to me. I honestly see no reason to wait 6 days. I feel it is unfair to you to make you wait. Tell Re you want test on Friday, and if he wants you'll test next week as well if Friday test shows it's still not doubling. Chances are great that the Friday test will more than double and you can have a nice relaxing weekend enjoying your pregnancy. Take this from a nurse....You sometimes have to fuss to get what you want. Believe me the nurse at RE has given me a hard time about my early u/s. I told her I was very aware that I will not see a heartbeat, and that the sac(s) seen may turn out not to be viable. If she gives me a hard time tomorrow at my u/s I'm going to tell her to let me be, let me have my u/s and enough with the lectures and negativity. I don't need it shoved down my throat. I'm sure she hasn't gone through IVF and can't even image how much more eager us girls are about our pregnancy. We came a long way and this is a very, very big deal to us. Stress isn't good for us either. Sorry to rant, but I'm angry at your RE for being insensitive and trying to make you wait until late next week to retest, when a simple test on Friday would most likely answer everyone's questions.
Amy-I'll let you know how things go. My appt is at 10am. I'm excited too. Imagine I won't sleep that well tonight.
Barken- So cool about your ultrasound too. Please let us know how it goes.
Take care everyone and thanks for listening to me rant, Melanie

Dilly - If you had your betas 2 days apart, those #'s sound perfectly fine. As long as it doubles @ least 66% in 48 hours my clinic would be happy. Besides, you had such a strong first # that I don't think anything is wrong. However it would be torture to wait 6 days for the next one. Might want to take the suggestion and ask for a test sooner if it makes you feel better.

Melanie - :P @ the no morning sickness. I'm having ALL DAY sickness!!!

Woohoo @ the ultrasounds! I can't wait to hear from everyone! I hate to say anything this early in the morning, but so far I feel better today than I have in the last 5 days! I'm going to enjoy it as long as I can!

melanie - Yes, I do remember you from the April/May boards! It's nice to see a familiar face on the other side this time around!! You are so lucky that you get to have an u/s today, even though it's only 5.5 weeks. The wait until tomorrow is killing us, although it should be far enough along that we can see a heartbeat.

dilly - My clinic likes to see the numbers double as well, even though they did tell me when you start with higher numbers, DO NOT PANIC if they do not double at the next test, as long as they have a good increase. Was there any variation in the time you took the tests that made the window less than 48 hours between tests? I'm with Melanie - call and make them test you again tomorrow. My clinic did three betas, each two days apart, so there is no reason you can't go back in there tomorrow. This was our second cycle and I can definately say we took more control over our treatment rather than listening to them like they know best. You are paying for this, so if it would make you feel better this weekend, then go get another beta done. Besides, it takes all of five minutes for them to draw blood and it can't take that long to send it to the lab. It's not like you are asking for hours and hours of their time.

barken - Can't wait to hear your u/s results!

sancap - How long until your u/s? Any symptoms yet?

shelby - Sorry to hear you've had m/s all day! How are the boys liking the news of twins? Are they hoping for brothers or sisters?

AFM - We cannot wait for the u/s tomorrow (at 10:30)!! I think if it is multiples, we will probably tell immediate family fairly soon. I just hope we get good news tomorrow and everything looks fine. (Getting released from "pelvic rest" and having an end date to the dreaded PIO shots tomorrow would be an extra bonus!)
