My update

Post by Tracey S »

Hiya

Well I have been complaining and suffering from awful ribs - not just a night when lie on my side but my right side has been dreadful for days now and can hardly move or breathe and is constant - so bad went to docs as thought pulled something.
I have a lung infection - he is only just ruling out lung cancer and other serious life threatening things! Nice doctor he is - likes his drama! He says def not pulled anything - it is a lung infection - great and waiting to hear if viral or bacterial - he thinks viral in which case nothing I can do but take paracetamol! If bacterial might not let me on hols. HAs improved the last day so fingers crossed cos due to go to North Cyprus on Sunday for a week.
Otherwise more shopping yesterday - this time with my mother -what a marathon! and BAbies now kicking like mad - well twin one is - DH felt her last night as she shoved his hand off - the other one is more refined and he felt her move
Love to all
Tracey

Gosh Tracey

You don't do things by half do you? How did you get the infection? I hope you can get to go on holiday on Sunday - what a bummer if you have to cancel it :( Did your Dr really think it may be cancer!!!!???? :o

David has booked a surprise holiday in Lanzarote for us next Thursday :D We really need to get away and spend some quality time together. I am really looking forward to it. Oh, but I MUST go and buy some new clothes! 8) :o  It's a must.

How lovely that your DH can feel the babies kicking too. He must feel more part of it now.

Hope you enjoyed your shopping trip with your Mum.

Love Dagny xkx

hi tracy,

Your lung infection sounds horrible. when do you find out if viral or bacterial, and about your hols?

does your tummy move too when the girls move? mine does, it's really weird but great. i keep prodding the baby to move, terrible really. david hasn't felt the baby yet. your dh must have been thrilled to feel their movements.

hope your on recovery road and glad to hear your keeping the economy going with spending!

take care,

Hi you two

My doctor is mad as a badger - as I feel better think not bacterial and he said the same as the rest of me is perfectly healthy as he puts it - likes the opp to take more blood and stab me with a needle. No he did not think cancer - he is just perverse when it comes to me as he can fully explore his soh????

Dagny - hols sound fabby - you both deserve it - no posting for us then - go shopping girl. Katelyn will be there too just in a sunnier place.

Phil - It is like a cold - u can just pick them up - is improving and spending money helps - especially when it was mum's - honestly she spent loads on clothes and muslin squares and baby grobags - makes them sound like tomatoes!

Should be fine for hols - yes my tummy does move slightly but should move more I guess as they grow - only 22 weeks tomorrow - dh was thrilled - wasn't sure if they would perform for him but just had a choccie fix and they were going mad!
Love to you both

You poor old thing Tracey! Good that you're starting to feel better, so fingers crossed it'll continue like that. And there was me getting miffed as I feel like I'm coming down with a cold (mind you, had at least three since being pregnant). Just worried I'll feel rubbish and won't be able to breathe properly in labour if I'm all blocked up!

Dagny - so glad you've also got a lovely holiday to go on, we always tried to get away after our various IVF low points, it really does help to be somewhere else, and especially therapeutic to be somewhere near the sea with the sun shining (and preferably a large glass of chilled wine in your hand...!) And of course, you can continue the shopping exploits when you get out there.....

Have a lovely time both of you.

I hope you're feeling better soon Tracey (like before Sunday). How exciting to be taking your littlies on a foreign jaunt - I hope you're well enough to introduce them to Cyprus!

Take care.

Hi Tracey,
How annoying and unpleasant, your lung infection! I hope you can get away and get better in the sun. and don't let that doctor scare you!
we went away for a few days to see my father and have something like a holiday in Bulgaria, always a mixed bag for me as family means also stress sometimes, but it was so nice just to be away after 4 months of staying home and worrying and only working and visiting the hospital! Now we have another few days break for Easter and it is great. Work seems to stress me out much more than usual recently.

Dagny, I hope you can enjoy the sun in Lanzarote! I've been reading the postings on the new forum and am very glad that there is a special place to remember these very specail children.
The rose bush sounds lovely.

love, juliana

Hi all

Thanks for all those lovely kind wishes........... you know me can't keep me down for long - on the mend and nothing from the GP so I presume bloods are fine and off we go. Had a cry this morning (hormones) as upset at taking my baby doggy to kennels - what am I like? Normally fine but she is only 6 months and never been away from her mummy!
Apart from that have enjoyed all the news on the board and the lovely sunny day
Happy hols everyone
Love

Tracey

I wish we lived closer as I would have had Gabbie for you. I am an expert on Weimaraners as we have had 4 over the years in the family and I know they do not really like Kennels but I am sure she will be fine. Give her a big doggy hug from me.

David and I have just been to the RSPCA rescue center to see what dogs they have there but there was nothing we really liked. I feel really bad as the dogs give you such doe-ful expressions and I feel guilty walking away. Some just bark and go bezerk and I think 'Well mate, you 'aint doing yourself any favours'.

When do you go on Sunday?? I hope Nikola hangs on until you get back!!

HAPPY HOLIDAY my friend. I will miss you :(

Thanks for the message - I have your number so will keep you posted - told Nik to hold her legs together with superglu!!!
Gabbie is off to where we bought her from with 14 other Weimarners to keep her company. She has just got one back - not quite a year old I think as the lady is having twins and thinks all to much hard work - honestly! Interersted in hving her?

Miss you loads of course - massive hug and happy week toyou all - behave yourselves!
