Pooh, congrats on the beta, hope you get your progesterone sorted out - can they give you patches or suppositeries instead of injection?
Clemo, welcome back from holiday, not long now till you start treatment.
Summer, you will have to post a picture of Anna when you get the chance.
Hi to all the other lovely ladies.
AFM, no embies to freeze but am trying not to dwell on that. Now a question for you ladies. Have been told to take 50mg of aspirin but here in UK can only get min 75mg so at moment I'm chopping up 300mg into 6 bits. Carolyn, can I ask what you did for your aspirin? Also, when I get BFP what is next stage (note the PMA here) - do I contact GP to arrange for beta test or what?
Welcome Back Clemo - hope you had a fantastic time. 2.5 weeks will fly by!
Pooh - awesome beta! I think you may be joining the multiples world!!
Pauline - I wasn't put on aspirin so i can't help you there but it sounds like your approach is a good one! As far as next steps, I called my 'old' RE and asked whether I could do my beta, blood testing and initial ultrasound with them and they said absolutely. So, they monitored me until I was ready to start wtih my OB (which was after my first ultrasound). But if you didn't have a previous RE then going to your GP would be the regular next steps. And don't worry about having none to freeze - you won't need them so it won't be an issue!
Hi to everyone else! Thinking of you but have to run so can't finish my personals.

Pauline - I had the same issue - spoke to my GP and he said taking 75mg is fine and thats what i did!
I had my beat done at local clinic where I had my IVF done in UK - GP will not do it - had to pay though - was about £65 - would sugggest try where you had previous cycles am sure they would oblige - perhaps where you went for your lining check ??
Clemo - welcome home - glad you had a great holiday - do we need to do AF jig or will that mess with cycle dates ???
Pooh - oooo how fantastic is that beta - got to be more than one beanie in there - hope your feeling good and got the progesterone sorted xx
Kelly - always great to hear from you as you cheer us all along !
sabi - great to see you about - hope your keeping well and not working too hard xx
Miracle - are you any closer sorting your cycle out ?
AFM - doing great - had scan last thursday and the little buggers would not stay still - are measuring right on date and are within an ounce of each other - did not find out the sex though its going to be a surprise !
Wishful - Good on you for having a suprise. I'll be doing the same. Glad that everything is going well for your bubs.
I'd love you to do an AF jig but my cycle has changed from 4 wks to 5 wks since my last pgd cycle. But I would be pleasantly suprised if it came earlier coz then we could start earlier!!!
Hi Kelly.
Pauline - Sorry about not getting any frosties but lets hope you won't need them!
I can't help you with the asprin as my clinic hasn't mentioned it. Normally the clinic that does the transfer would do your beta and first scan. But I'm sure you could get a referal from your GP. Wishing you so much luck. I have everything crossed for you.
Nothing going on here with me. I am reading everyday, but just not much to post. I go for baseline u/s and bw on Friday. I am assuming that my donor in starting stims around that time. Our est ER will be nov 4 and a transfer on the 9th. So we are about 2 weeks away. I am ready to get started!
I wish I had the will power to wait and be surprised with the sex of the baby! I found out with my son and now I feel like I would have to know just so I would know if I needed girl stuff!
Summer, I am glad things went well with your delivery. Anna is a beautiful name. I am sure you are enjoying her.
Pooh, Congrats on a great beta.
Pauline, I was on aspirin, still am. I was told 100mg for Europe was the same as 81mg BA here in the US.
Miracle, Welcome.
Clemo, glad you had a great vacation and are ready to get things started.
AFM, I am doing well. Now that I have weaned off progesterone I am feeling as if I have more energy and less m/s. It could be where I am in my cycle though. I don't go back to the OB until I am 16 wks. 4wks between visits is maddening.
Sorry i haven't posted ladies but we had some complications so was staying away from the thread. You won't believe this one. we went for the scan and yes, a healthy embie implanted in the uterus...however, a nonviable implanted in my csection scar. There are few of these cases ever documented. So, the doc at the fertility clinic said they probably couldn't save the good pregnancy when they treat the embie in the csection scar...which if left untreated could be catastrophic. So...I went to the high risk clinic for a 2nd opinion.
The clinic said they have seen one other case of this and were easily able to save the viable pregnancy by treating the nonviable. So, we are on track and everything is now good. They will not even treat the nonviable embie if it doesn't become a threat to my health. It isn't' growing which is great but sometimes it can cause bleeding, etc.
This is becoming more common because of IVF and more csections these days. Who knew???? So we feel good now and my clinic is confident in it's ability to keep this pregnancy uneventful!!! I am gettting ultrasounds every 2 weeks to make sure this nonviable embie stays harmless.
I hope you are all well. I need to read up on everyone.
Cheers.

Gigi - Gosh, you poor love. I imagine that news would have been scary. You must be so happy you got a 2nd opinion. I'm glad that your healthy emby is going well and it's very reassuring that you can have regular u/s's. Lets hope the rest of your pg is smooth sailing.
Stef - That's great that you're feeling better. Hope time doesn't go too slowly until your next scan.
Gigi, what a scary time for you. Glad you got a 2nd opinion and that the news was more positive. Wishing the next few months are non-eventful and the non-viable embie doesn't cause any problems.
Carolyn, thanks for the PMA and dust, I need some. How are you and the twins keeping? Hope your blood pressure is under control.
Pooh, when do you have your scan to confirm how many you are carrying?
Summer, hope you and Anna and DH are keeping well.
Hi to Clemo, Miracle, Stef and anyone else I haven't mentioned.
AFM, I'm mostly doing good and whenever the negative thoughts pop into my head I try to banish them straight away. Not planning on POAS till next Friday which seems like an age away.
Gigi-- wow! You must be sooo relieved since you had your second opinion. I have never heard of an embryo implanting in the C-section! It makes sense though. I hope all turns out well. It will be great to have u/s every 2 weeks. Then you can have some piece of mind.
AFM-- went in today for a baseline u/s and bw. I am only spotting and havent had a BCP in 6 days. I thought AF would be here by now. RE said lining looks very thin and she doesnt expect me to get much of a period. My donor is also going in today, so she said we will see what my bw shows and we may be delayed a day or two. I was also annoyed when I left becasue we have coverage for this donor cycle. We had to get a pre-approval from the insurance company which we got and then whenI left today they told me that the insurance won't cover the testing for the donor or the freezing and storage. I was annoyed becasue 1) the insurance co told me that freezing was covered previously and 2) shouldnt you have told me I was going to owe an extra $1700 on top of the donor fee of $5000. I know I shouldnt complain becasue we have coverage, but I hate when they don't tell me everything! We have a PRE-APPROVAL! we should know what is covered! So they were like, well we dont know??? PRE-APPROVAL!!!! Look at it! What is covered? So I called the insurance co and they said well I dont see why freezing wouldnt be covered! UGH! So now RE is calling the insurance to get it straightened out! Come on! Sorry---had to vent. I work in healthcare. This is no that difficult and I'd like to know what to budget for next week! Anyway...I guess I'll know if we are delayed at all when my bw comes back today.
AFM, well I'm on the home straight but today feel like my insides are going to fall out. Am trying to stay positive but finding it hard today. Wishing for Friday.
