Hey Everyone - After my BFN, I'm still lurking, but not posting as often. I do need to vent for a moment though. If you recall, when we were in RE's office waiting to do our transfer, a girl that I play handbells with came into the office and had just completed her transfer. We had never passed in the hall before, so it was a total surprise to us both.
Tonight was my first week back to handbell rehearsal, and she is pregnant (and of course, we're not). This is her first pregnancy, and she is super excited and just the sweetest person in the world. I am very excited for her, but it is so bitter sweet for me. I now get to watch her be pregnant. She transferred 2 embies and so did we literally within an hour of each other. Very weird.
It's just so hard sometimes dealing with this.

J&C (((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) oh hun that must've been soooo hard for you....of course you are happy for her because you know she obviously has had a hard journey TTC as we all have here, but man i dont know....i'm sure i would be crying....i would probably have to leave the room. i cry alot more now then i ever had in my life...i've become a big emotional baby in my old age...my SIL is very fertile and when DH and i got engaged my brother always got engaged to her, he's my older brother so i joked that he was trying to steal my thunder, and i would joke around and say "oh well you just wait..on your wedding day i'm going to announce i'm pregnant to get back at you" HA well joke was on me....my SIL got pregnant on MY wedding night! (well her daugher was born exactly 9 months from my wedding anniversary) sooo a year after we were married DH and i started TTC...a year passed by and i was heartbroken...my parents came into town for my birthday and we went out to dinner..while we were at dinner for MY birthday my mom told me she had some news....my SIL was pregnant AGAIN!!! i can still remember that feeling....my whole body went numb and my heart was pounding in my throat, and tears welled up in my eyes...then of course i felt horrible about being upset for something as wonderful as a new baby in our family...i just thought i would be the one with the news ya know?
anyway i just wanted to share that with you so you know that someone knows how it feels. are you going to try again? i just started my 2nd cycle and i am soooo excited to end this crapfest of a year with a BFP FINALLY! hang in there sweetie, and i'm glad you came to us to vent...

Hey girls. Sorry I have been MIA but so much is going on with me. So as you know our first cycle ended in BFN. We decided to move right ahead and do cycle #2....well a couple days into my BCP we got an offer on our house! its been on the market since June. Well wouldn't you know it but we are under contract with our house and we find a new hosue and are under contract with that as well. If I estimated our cycle correctly harvest and transfer would have been the week before or the week of Thanksgiving....the same week we close on the house! So, we postponed the cycle. I do not want to take any chances during the packing, moving and stress. I think we will do cycle 2 in January if we are all settled. It would be too hectic during Christmas. So....
J and C, Katie and Prayin....sorry about the BFN. I hope you are all doing ok and will find the strength to try again. It will happen for us one day.

With everything going on, I will likely be pretty distant from the boards for a bit. But once I am settled, I hope to see great news for you girls and I HOPE you will have all moved one to the mommy boards:) Good luck!

Morning ladies - it's 8:10am here in Boston...and about an hr ago I peed on a digital clear blue...and it said to me..."NOT PREGNANT". Yup, it had to rub it in by being in capital letters! So I swore at a a few times and slammed it in the trash can! It don't know shit! Trying to tell me my babies not in me....shoot! Im 8dp3dt, it is still too early right?? Well, now Im addicted, so when I get home from work, imma use those cheap brands and keep peeing!

Syanna - I hate those digital hpt's. I used a couple the first IVF (ended up chemical) and did not dare buy another the second round. I did buy a couple of boxes of the ones where you just get the lines. At least with those, you can judge the color of the line yourself.
Miyaya - Congrats on the house selling! I think you are making the right decision by taking some time off. After our May cycle, at first I really just wanted to jump back in, but due to vacations and having the stepdaughters for a month in July when I would have been on the shots, we decided to put it off. I am so glad we ended up waiting. I had a lot better perspective after some time off. We had already decided that if the second cycle didn't work, we would take some time off until the holidays were over anyway. It's just not a good time to have additional stress - IVF is hard enough anyway.

syanna when is your beta? i'm pretty sure you are super early...keep up your PMA girl! i'm still confused about when its too early to test or not, but you seem really early. i think when i finally get to the point where i can POAS i will wait until the day before my beta....thats what i say now haha
miyaya congrats on selling the house!! i hope you are moving into a bigger one because youre gonna need more room for your baby VERY soon! if everything goes right for me this cycle i figured my ET/ER will be the week of thanksgiving too....well i was planning on going to NY to be with my family, and my MIL was going to fly in from cincinnati too....well i had to call everyone and cancel my plans, but this is WAY more important. i'm sorry you had to push your cycle till jan., but it will be soooo much better without the stress of moving. good luck sweetie!

Yep, I wont be using them digital ones again. My beta is on the 26th. I know, I know...only 4 days away but im just too anxious! I am really hoping that it is just too early, or the darn thing just can't detect it yet! Im about to just walk in the clinic and demand they take my blood! I'm going crazy...

syanna - I made it until two and a half days before beta before I broke down with the HPT. Four days is still pretty early. Those digital tests are not supposed to be as sensitive as some of the FRER line tests, anyway.

Thanks for all the warm wishes! I got my blood drawn this morning at a clinic near my mountain town so i didnt have to drive to denver. Now I have to wait for that lab to process the results and send them to my RE in denver and then for the nurse to call me. I dont understand why the clinic can just give me the results when they get them...arrrrrghhhh! Im still going to call my RE at 11:30 just to see if they got them. Im praying for a BBB!!!!!

Miyaya – Probably the best idea to wait until the stress of moving/selling is over. I hate doing that and it doesn’t matter what you do to prepare, there is still so much pressure when it comes down to the actual process. I wish you the best of luck in Jan.
