Sancap - yes. This is my first IVF cycle. I have been seeing the same RE since 2002, when I had the ruptured ectopic pregnancy, to treat my PCOS and trying to convince my husband to do IVF the entire time. 7 years wasted. We ended up in marriage counseling because after having the ruptured tube removed and losing the ability to have kids naturally, I have been battling depression. It really hurt that my husband didn't "care" enough about me and what I needed to overcome the depression. Now that we are in counseling, I think he realized that he was preventing me from doing something that I don't think anyone should take away from someone else. Marriage is great now that I feel like he finally cares about my needs. As far as the time off work, my IVF coordinator said that they wanted me to be off for about a week after the ET to reduce the amount of stress that I am exposed to. I have already used up all of my leave with all of my appointments leading up to this point, so I am having to take Leave Without Pay. That sucks, but I am really enjoying being at home. I don't think I could put up with the people at work asking me about it all the time. I had to tell them because they were hearing my phone calls...I just loving sitting in cube city. No privacy.

Shelby - I understand how you feel. When I was pregnant with my twins especially during the first 12 weeks, my husband had to drive me to and from work so I could sleep all the way there and all that way back. I was exhausted. Morning sickness for me lasted the entire pregnancy and it was for 24 hours a day everyday.

AFM - I am hoping that someday soon, I will be able to make it an entire day without crying. I cried during the ET, after the ET, that night, yesterday, and even today. My boys (Shelby and Jamie) got out of school at 12:00 today, so we went to Wal-Mart to buy a Wii game so we could have a good afternoon, but on the way home, Jamie was talking about how much he does not want this to work, so I started crying. Then Shelby was trying to comfort me to get me to stop crying by telling me how much he was sure it was going to work. Shelby really wants a baby brother or baby sister and has ever since 2002 and has repeatedly told me so ever since 2002.

And my husband is always making me cry without even trying. All he has to do is look at me in a way that I think has doubt in his eyes, and I break down crying......I don't know if this is harder on my or harder on them.

I can't wait until the 29th!!!

Thank you to everyone for the kind words. We do have 4 frosties that we're hoping to transfer sometime in either January or April (we're trying to work around DD birthday in October). I'm feeling a little better each day.

turtle - Thank you so much for sharing your story. I've had several similar moments (my sister had 3 pregnancies before we had our DD - her pregnancies were so hard on me, even though I was very happy for her).

kala - SOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo excited for you!!!! Congratulations!!!!

tonyacheek - Congrats to you too!!!

bjones - I say - cry all you want. Before we had our DD, we TTC for 5 1/2, and I know I cried every day of the last 2 years. Those years were really hard. (((HUGS)))
Me and DH - 37
TTC - 7 years, PCOS and 1 blocked tube
IVF #1 w/ICSI...DD born Oct. '08
IVF #2 w/ICSI...BFN
IVF #3 - FET....ectopic pregnancy

Tonya-Congrats!!!!! Yay...my BBB sister. Yours is high. How many did you transfer? When are you due? Im due on July 1st (3days before my bday)...I might be starting a new board on moms to be.

Bjones-you poor thing! hang in there, not too much longer! the 29th will be here before you know it. Just blame the damn hormones...and cry your eyes out if you need to. Things will work out in the end. Baby dust to you!!!

POASers-keep at it and only do it in the morning. that always worked better for me. Good luck!!!

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes! I have honestly only dreamed about your responses if I had good news, these past few weeks. I didnt even think about how my family would react. LOL! Ya'll are some awesome ladies and Im praying for all of you!!

Sangria- I remember when DH and I were trying to decided weather or not to try IVF...paying sooo much $ for the glimmer of hope...and he is a pessimistic person in general. He flat out said "we can do it, but I don't think it's going to work". I told him that I didn't want to do it if he didn't think it would work. He had to be on board 100% Honestly I think he was just protecting himself from the poss. of failure. He eventually came around and became more positive about it so of course we did it. But I totally think you have to want it bad and believe deep down that it's going to work. Doubt is a powerful thing and I truly believe that your frame of mind can help or hurt the situation. On the other hand, it's good to be level headed about it too and knowing that you will survive either way is comforting.

bjones22- I am sorry for everything you and DH have been through. This puts so much stress on relationships, sometimes I wonder how we survive. Hang in there babe, I'm sure all those hormones are doing what they are supposed to and that means sometimes we get a bit emotional. Best of luck to you and you know that once the little one/s get here, your boys will get excited and love the baby/s as much as you do. Come on 29th!

AFM- You guys are not going to believe this...I applied for an IVF scholarship back in April when we thought there was no way we could afford to do even 1 cycle and I just got an e-mail today saying I was selected! Of course it's too late now:( We couldn't wait because of how severe my endo was, it was like now or never so we put everything on credit and I'm glad we did it b/c it worked and I'm preggers but geez...we could have saved about $8,000 or so...ouch! For those of you looking for help with IVF...try INCIID.org At least someone else will have a chance now! They don't help with $$... they hook you up with RE's that donate their services. You just have to pay for meds.

Kala – Congratulations on your BFP!!! I can feel the excitement in your typing! You are gonna be a mommy!

Karling – That is a wonderful #! Now you can ‘hurry up and wait’ for the next step…. The u/s. Doesn’t this part really stink?

Tonya – AWESOME!!!! Yay for being a mommy! And what a high #!!! Thinking multiples…. Lol!

Sangria – I’ll be happy to share!!! Whew, this has really knocked me on my butt!!!

Bjones – I love your sons’ names, but one in particular! He..he.. But it stinks to hear that this could go on for the whole pregnancy…YUCK! I know it can, but man, poor DH is going to have it really hard! As for the emotions, I’m sure Jamie didn’t mean it harsh. He’s just young and thinking about sharing things and fighting with someone else. Once the news is good and that precious bundle(s) of joy are here, I’m sure he will change his tune.

Just got a call from the nurse and my pregesterone level is only 7.3 (I have a history of low progesterone and spotting post ovulation) so I just started progesterine pills vaginally. My Beta is scheduled for 11/2.

Anyone have any tips to get that level higher naturally?? I"m a believer in home remedies!! Does acupuncture help?

bjone With all the hormones and everything else, just cry it out girl!

Syanna It is too early! Don't touch the evil sticks!!!

J&C I can not imagine how hard that had to be. I would have probably ran out crying. But you will have your turn.

Kala You go GIRL!! After all you want through you deserve that BFP! Congrats to you and DH. I love the ticker.

AFM...My nurse called today to check in on my 2ww. She said she knows it's hard so they call for support. But she wouldn't move my beta up at all. I said this time is 3 days later then last time. She was like, with the HCG shot you need to wait longer. So I said then this time should be less since I didn't do a HCG shot. But no still 10/30. I guess I have to live with that. One week from tomorrow, I'm going the BFP board!

I knew it! The husband just gave me my bum shot and what happens?? He "accidently" kept hitting my blood vessel, twice! So 3 shots in 1 night..great, that's just great. I am definetly not sharing my pot pie with him!

Kala - YAY!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. You SO deserve this baby!! What a journey you went on to get your little one. Congrats to you and DH!

Sancap14 - I can't wait for tomorrow either! I hope to hear the hb this time. I can't leave this board. I haven't even joined the May 2010 mommies yet. I can't do it. Call me crazy.

Tonyacheek24 - YAY for you!!! Congrats on your BFP!!!!

bjones22 - I cried and cried and cried all the time, about the craziest things. I was always scared that we would never be able to conceive and I always knew that if it didn't happen it would be my fault. I had my left tube removed and my right is blocked. IVF is our only option. I always thought about what it would do to my marriage. Although DH always said we could explore other options, i knew deep down inside he wanted his own child. I'm glad things are better for you and DH now. I agree in that I think your son is just thinking about someone else taking attention away from him. I hope things get better.

J&C - Keep positive. That is great that you have 4 frosties and you'll be trying again.

Michaelajt73 - How was you u/s?

AFM, I'm no longer constipated!!!!! i feel so much better. I think I look more like 2 months and 1 wk instead of more like 3-4 months. My stomach was so bloated! Anyhow enough with the constipation talk. I just can't beleive that this is yet something else a woman goes through that NO ONE ever told me about. lol
