Neffi - Good Luck I am in the same boat as you. Couldn't afford egg donor yet so trying again with my eggs with my last cycle that insurance will pay for. Hoping it works for both of us. I will be right behind you. I start stims on Monday and usually I am only a 7 to 8 day stimmer. RE changed around my protocol a little so now hoping maybe to stim at least 9 days. We will see..

FX for you.

hi everyone,
well I POAS yesterday morning and this morning as well and not so much as a glimmer of a second line. I'm still doing everything I'm supposed to until I get my official beta tomorrow. Since it was IVF cycle switched to an IUI, my follie was barely an 18, I only had a 24 hour trigger shot instead of 36 hours, and we use donor sperm which only lives for 8-12 hours inside the body.. I'm not too hopeful. Not sure what we should do next cycle- try with BCP again (last time I didn't make any follies on the BCP) or try another cycle without BCP (which resulted in a dominant follicle). Obviously IUI's don't work with me- this is my 3rd. Suggestions anyone??

teacher I had 7 IUI's and 4 of them had many mature follies like 3 or 4 and I had no success. I rally can't give you any suggestions on what to do. Keep up the PMA, you never know what the beta will show tomorrow. Surprises happen.

AFM...Went to the Dollar store yesturday and over the checkout counter are the HPT's. I could techinically test today. I was so tempted. I was like, for a buck I could find out, I don't have to tell anyone. But I stayed strong. I am waiting because I know it would just lead to more. I would worry about a chemical if it was possitive and worry it's too soon if negative. So I am waiting til Friday for my beta. Once a day for the last three days, I have had a few drops of brownish discharge. I had that last time and the nurse said to ignore it. Even heavy bleeding can still lead to a positive. At first, I was psyched thinking it was implantation bleeding, but then I started worrying it was something bad instead. I had a girl in my last thread who had heavy bleeding and is now happily PG. So I am not going to read into anything either way. Yeah, right!

Neffi - I'm still going through some testing. They are making me do alot before we try since I just turned 40. AF showed it's face today so I think I will be going in for my 3 day FSH test on Tuesday and my HSG on Friday. If all of the test come back good, i can get started. The last time they made me take BCP for 21 days before starting to stim. Not sure if they will do the same again but by the end of this week I should know whats going on. I have three appointments scheduled this week and if all is good I should be starting to do something sometime within the next few weeks I guess.

Good luck with your upcoming cycle.

IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
