Hi Ladies - I've been following on the Sep/Oct Cycle buddies and wanted to wait until 1st Beta to post. This is our 4th IVF attempt so a little gunshy. First beta was 161 so I'm guessing that's pretty good looking at others posted. My husband would love TWINS, I just want healthy. It's so exciting watching all these twins and even triplets show up.

I had 2 frosties put back on 5dt U/S is scheduled for 11/10. My clinic only does the 1 beta and then schedules U/S 2 weeks later. Now it's another 2ww. :? :?

Hi there,
I have also been lurking along with the Sept/Oct. boards and have never logged in. I want to say thank you to all those ladies for all of the shared information. It has been very helpful along the way. I just completed my 2nd IVF cycle (the first ending in miscarriage). We are pregnant again and very cautiously excited. My beta numbers were 303(10dp5dt), 986 (13dpt)and 2280 (15dpt). We put back two high quality blastocysts. I will have my 1st ultrasound on Nov. 3 so I have a bit to wait yet. The wait is driving me crazy. Thanks again for all your support even though you don't even know me yet!
Congrats to all!javascript:emoticon(':P')

t-west- those some some nice strong betas! You could be adding on to our twinspolsion on this board. Wow...i bet you cant wait til your u/s...it will be here before you know it. Im so sorry about your miscarriage. I scared of having one...it seems like it sadly happens more often than not with IVF.

Bailey-Thats too bad about the lack betas from your RE. Good luck with your 2ww :( Your u/s is the day before mine. Hopefully some of the twin dust from this board will come our way! I would love twins, but like you a health baby is the most important thing.

I'm hoping the numbers are good and strong. To be real honest, it is hard to tell because everyone seems to have them on different days after transfer. I have been crazy about looking on line trying to compare numbers to my own.
I am 5weeks and a few days. I have had a lot of cramping (similiar to Af). Has anyone else had this? Other than that...no symptoms. I would really like to have something going on just to give me a little reassurance. Although it sounds like the morning sickness is getting the best of some of you. Maybe that is not something I should hope for!

My DH has two children from a previous marriage (son-16 and daughter-18). He had things "taken care of" down there so we had to do an aspiration. The first one went great but the swimmers were not swimming any more when we unfroze them=(. So DH had to go through the process again. It did not go well. His "swimmers" must have been hiding and the doctor had to "dig around". They eventually had to take a chunk. UGH! (sorry if that is tmi). Needless to say, my wonderful DH has been in a lot of pain and we know that the likelyhood of this process ever happening again is slim to none. We have one frozen Blastocyst and are praying that we will not have to rely on that as our last attempt.
I would LOVE to have twins. Even more, I want healthy babies! It will be a blessing whatever God gives us!
Kala-When do you go for your next beta?
Take care all-Theresa

My step children are 16 and 18...not sure where the smile icon came from in that last message.

Good Morning! Great to have you join us Twest & Baileygirl!

T west - Your story sounds very similar to mine. DH has 2 sons ages 16 and 12 from a previous marriage, had a vasectomy, tried a reversal, and then had the PESA. He was very sore afterwards, but luckily they were able to aspirate enough sperm to do a few IVF cycles if needed. (BTW, the smile icon probably came up because you did an 8 and a close parentheses together) As for the cramping, I had a little, but I think it was mainly due to constipation (sorry, TMI). So now I take a stool softener with my prenatal vitamins. you do have a nice strong beta that could be twins. Mine was 9dp5dt with 2 primo blasts and it was 244. I have 2 little beans growing in there! Can't wait to hear about your u/s!

Baileygirl - that stinks about only the one beta. But your number was very strong so things sound good. Glad you signed in to visit!

Well, turns out that I do have a urinary tract infection and the Dr. started me on antibiotics and a urinary analgesia for the burning. Also taking Zofran dissolvable tabs for nausea and Phenergan in the evenings for nausea and to help me sleep. I go back tomorrow for my second u/s.

Hello Ladies, hope everyone had a nice weekend.
BaileyGirl- Congrats and a huge welcome. Your number is really great, but don't know if you read one of my previous posts about asking your doctor for what you want. I recommend getting at least two betas. This will assure that your little one is doing well and that the levels continue to rise as they should. My understanding from what I have read is that the betas tell you a lot about the healthiness of the pregnancy. Those that don't rise well have more chances of troubles.
As far as symptoms, I have twins in there and I have been very blessed with few symptoms. The cramping is normal, I had mentioned it to my doc on u/s visit and he said that most of it is the uterus is expanding and it puts pressure on ligaments etc and feels like cramping. I even had lower back pain at times.
Twest- Congrats and a huge welcome to you as well. I am so glad our little group is growing...it makes me feel warm fuzzies inside that so many of us are finally pregnant after so much work :D
Your story is very touching...I am so happy for you that your prego. Your numbers are fantastic. I really think their too high even for twins. Mine with Twins started at 220 at 15dp5dt! You seem to have three in there. I know you transferred only two, but maybe your one of those that had one of the eggs split into identicals  Either way, the numbers are so great that you can start to feel better that in the end, you'll have one healthy little one.
Shelby- You poor little thing. I almost feel a little guilty for feeling so good. I was at a wedding last night and was even dancing my little buns off. No drinking of course, but I love to dance, and I had a lot of fun. We didn't get in until about 1:30 am so I was pretty tired by then though.
Amy- BTW I guess I won't be making it to Father's day now, but it's still fun for us to have that as our due date. Most docs don't let you go to full term anyway. Especially with IVF, since they don't want to take any chances. There are more complications as you start to go over your due date. Talk soon :)
Well ladies, I can't remember who has what this week, since we're getting more ladies, but good luck and keep us up to date.
Melanie

Hey! A wonderful lady showed me how to do this and I thought it would help up keep track of everyone. I did it for the Sept/Oct board and it really seemed to help. If anyone doesn't like it I can erase it or if someone else would like to keep track of it, I can show you how.
If you have any info you would like me to include, please post and I will update it and repost from time to time.

Take care, Shelby
p.s. The parentheses @ the beginning are for your real names, but if you don't want to tell, that is perfectly fine. :)

Kala- You are too cute! You should have printed and framed it. It can go in your baby scrapbook! 8)

T west - Thanks for your well wishes. I feel like I'm taking a whole pharmacy of meds just to be able to function  ! I can't wait for the second trimester so I can feel normal, but fat!

Hi Everyone!!

shelby- I LOVE the new updates!!! Thank you so much for keeping us all posted. U R da best! I think Kala and you had a great idea...framing/scrapbooking the updates showing BFP's ...LOVE IT!

t west and Baileygirl - Welcome and thank you for joining and sharing. Congratulations to both of you on your BFP's and here's hoping for healthy, happy babies for all of us!! :D

statsgoddess- I can't remember if I ever congratulated you on you BIG news!!! I am soo happy for you! You must be terrified and elated all at the same time. I will pray for healthy babies for you...TRIPLETS! WOW!!

DillysGirl- How was your weekend?? Hanging in there waiting for that next beta?? I know it's tough but your 2nd BBB will be here soon enough!!

kala0704- Hey mommy! Hope you had a great weekend! Just wanted to say hi!

melanie_100- how are you feeling today?? I think I'm starting to get a little nausea...not the kind that makes you feel like your going to throw up but the kind that makes you feel not hungary when you normally are or the thought of eating something that you would normally like just does not sound appetizing. Other than that just a little tired here and there this weekend.

AFM- I have my first u/s wednesday!!! It's going to be a very exciting day. DH asked if we could go to Barnes and Nobel afterwards to get baby books...lol he's soo cute!! I was telling him a little about the forum this weekend and he was like "Do all the wives complain about the husbands on there?" and I said "no actually we have a name for husbands, DH which means Dear Hubby" and he said " or does it mean Dick Head" LOL. I explained to him that everyone on the forum for the most part are very complementary of their DH's...sometimes we vent but for the most part it's very PG. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hello Everyone! My name is Angie and I love the updates! I will most definately be printing that one. I am also dealing with a broken heel so for the most part I have laid around the last 6 weeks which I also firmly believe led to a BFP Finally! Low key and no stress got me here for sure this time. Hopefully the cast comes off Monday!!! I'm excited to be here and to be learning so much from all of you!

Have a great week

I went for my second u/s yesterday and everyone still looks good! Both babies had HB of 160. Their growth from 7 days ago is ahead of schedule! They went from 6w1d to 7w4d! No wonder I am staying miserable! LOL! That's ok....it's worth it! Gonna go take a nap now. Chat later!
