The IVF discussion board is more active.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I know how you feel momwant2b - I had a failed cycle in July and haven't really been able to join a thread. They are all either threads for people going through treatment or mummies to be!! Me and DH aren't going through any sort of treatment at the moment, so it's hard to know who to talk to! x

Hi

We had a really good thread going for a long time, it was the awaitibg treatment thread. I t has kinda stopped now as a lot of the people on there have moved forward it was a great support and I made some real good friends on there, We were all at different stages, awaiting IVF, awaiting adoption, awaiting FET and talked about lots of other things apart from IVF as well!!!

Why don't you start up another thread for all those people who are just waiting around at the moment? Or continue with this one? I am sure you will find a few others will join you there was a steady number of about 8 or 9 of us who talked regularly.

I wish you all the best on your journeys, its not easy and will be full of ups and sdowns as I am sure you have found out all ready but in the end life will be as it will be and and we will all find peace with our babies or make decisions to have a different life without babies as I am just starting to think about and I never thought I would be saying that 8 years ago when we started!!!

Hope your thread gets off to a good start.

Lee xx
Finally I am a mummy, we are about to adopt our beautiful little girl xxxxx

Yes! Me!

This has happened to me too many times, with many that I started this journey with way back in 2005 with their 2 babies and more. Oh well. I gotta keep my head up as my turn is coming, as is yours!

Blessings.

Butterflykiss - looks like our situations are very similar. I am 39 and also been ttc for 5 years. Good luck with your consult... I am going for my follow up appt on Thursday.

Sara30 - maybe more people will jump on our thread..

Vicky1707 - do you know what your next step will be?

No plans for any invasive treatment as yet. Me and DH are having a few months break. We have been prescribed Clomid for 6 months so we are going to give up alcohol again and have a healthy lifestyle after Christmas - New Year - New start! :D Hopefully 2010 will be mine and DH's year! Fingers crossed!
