Pauline, so sorry to hear ... sending a big hug your way. I'm sorry but I don't remember if you had any frosties? Our first donor's egg quality wasn't any better than mine and we ended up with a BFN and none to freeze. However, with the next we are pregnant with twins and have 5 frozen, so don't you give up hope. We are all here for you if you need us.
Pooggirl, way to go, another set of twins! Congrats to you and your DH.

Clemo, keep us posted on AF, hopefully it comes VERY soon, although it does sound like your clinic has a back up plan just in case.

AFM - I got a horrible cold last week and ended up taking Monday-Wednesday off of work this week. I'm still stuffed up and coughing a little but feeling better. I have another appointment on Monday and can't wait to hear those heartbeats again. It scary when you get sick. I know the babies are suppose to be fine, but still worrisome.

Well ladies-- donors ER is tomorrow morning at 8:30. Wish us luck! We are hoping for lots of eggs. We are going to fertilize with DH and a donor and see what we get. I am hoping for 24 eggs.....so we'll see. I think she had at least that many follicles. Then we will check my lining again tomorrow and if its not a 7.5 we will freeze and wait a couple more days! I will let you know once I hear the news tomorrow, then Monday with the fert report!
Hopeful-- sorry to hear about your cold. Being sick while pregnant sucks! At least its only a cold. I am nervous about this H1N1 for my son and also if I am pregnant in the near future. No one around here has the vaccone yet, but everyone is sick! Scary!

Well we got 20 eggs from the donor. That is good news. We are going to fertilize 10 with DH and 10 with donor and see what we get. I was hoping for a couple more, but I can't complain with 20. This donor has done this twice before with 2 successful pregnancies so I think the eggs are good. Now we just have to see how they do with DH and donor sperm. I should get the fert report tomorrow, hopefully in the morning! I hate waiting for phone calls! As for my lining......the estrace did the trick....it was 7.9mm this morning so we are good to go with the transfer. I asked what my lining was when I got pregnant before and it was 7.4, so I feel better now. We should be on schedule to do a 5 day transfer on Friday. If all goes well, I should be due on my sisters Birthday July 25! I am very hopeful!

Hopeful, sorry to hear that you haven't been well. Its good you took some time off to rest. I remember I got sick about 3 weeks before i delivered and i had that cold for about 10-12 weeks total. It is hard to recover fully when you are pregnant. In fact they think I had mild pneumonia but it was hard to detect because I was far along int he pregnancy (and had a multitude of other issues that arose). So, rest and take care of yourself!

Sorry for the long post in advance....
I got bad news yesterday and have been trying to sort it all out! We got 20 eggs from the donor, which was great. Half we were suppose to fertilize with DH sperm and the other half with donor. So I figured on a good fert report yesterday. RE called and said we had 4......4???? What the hell are you talking about? 4???? So I said well what groups are they from? HE said two from each. I told him I was surprised that we didn't get more from DH group since we ICSIed them. He said oh I don't think any were ICSIed. WHAT!!!! I have gone throught 6 IVF cycles with my eggs. We don't ICSI usually becasue the quality of the embryos is poor so we have tried to do it without ICSI and usually the embryos do better. ANyway so we decided to do a donor cycle becasue it was the last covered by insurance and if we dont use my eggs then most likely the embryos will do great and we will have some to freeze for future use. Oh-- DH has 1% morphology! Anyway so ICSI was not done! This is a HUGE mistake by RE and they are avoiding me! I called three times today and finally talked to the embryologist and gave her an ear full. We only have 4 now, well 5 now she saw another one today and that is crap! What if none of DHs had fertilized? Then what would you say? So after yelling for 15 mintues saying they ruined our chances of have future children after this transfer I told her to have the person who was going to FIX THIS to call me back and I didn't hear from them the rest of the day. Its like becasue I have 5 embies its ok! No its not.....we could have 10! who knows and we will never know becasue you screwed up! I feel that they should offer to do another ER for no charge. I can't belive they didn't even think that this was enough of a problem to address today! I am furious! I cant even describe how mad I am because I think the whole donor cycle has been unorganized and thoughtless from the start. I actually had to tell RE that I didnt need Doxycycline this time becasue I didnt do a ER. I shouldnt have to know my own meds! Good thing I do though! The entire process has been ridiculous and then they don't even call me! ARG!!!!! I am pissed!
On a good note---- we have 5 babies going strong so far and I am happy to be pregnant on Friday. I am planning to tell them tomorrow that I need to focus on my transfer, but I would like to make an appt to fix this problem. The only way I will be happy is to have more embryos....Am I being unrealistic? I think if you make a mistake it should be fixed!

OMG, Miracle, what an absolute c*ckup! I'm so sorry that you have had this additional stress on top of what is a stressful time anyway. At this point, you are blessed with 5 embryos so concentrate on that for now. I hope you manage to get your stress under control so that you are ready for ET on Friday.
I agree that the clinic should do another cycle for you for free, or else give you the money to go elsewhere.

Miracle - huge hugs - that is truly outrageous - I would be shouting and screaming too - but like you say you need to focus on your growing embies and being PUPO on friday - you will not need anymore cos you will have your BFP but you should certainly seek compensation - will the insurance company not help you with the error?

So it looks like our four are still growing. I am hoping to have 2 great ones Friday for transfer. I told off two people at the office so far and they dont seem to think this is that big of a deal. I am still appauled at how this is being handled but I am waiting until I am pregnant and VERY EMOTIONAL before I really casue a scene! Right now I am focused on my babies. They do not look at them on Day 4 so I will let you know how the transfer goes on Friday. Can't wait for the tense appt that will be since the screaming phone call!

My cuz is already on the pill so she will continue with it then stop in 3 wks when I do and start synarel as well. Then my cuz will have a scan to check that she's ready to start injecting and I'll start the estrogen tabs. Yay! So epu should be in about 5ish wks!!!!
