I am very upset right now!!! I went in for my second ultrasound and they couldn't find anything. I have not been bleeding or cramping at all. Could it possibly be hiding? Could the ultrasound equipment possibly have missed it? I am waiting for my bloodwork to come back today to see what my HCG levels are today!!! Please god let everything be okay!!! [/b]

Sorry to hear that. They saw an intrauterine sac before but not now?
Obviously, this suggests the pregnancy was lost. A declining hCG level would pretty much confirm that.
Or maybe they failed to see it, but on a 2nd us that is...unusual.
Best of luck.

Yeah..on Friday they saw the gestational sac with no problems and today they can't see anything. Could I have lost it without any cramping or bleeding or any kind?

Yes, it happens.
Also, sometimes they see a pseudosac in the uterus and think it's a real sac, but it's only a fluid collection. If that was what happened in your case, it would mean the pregnancy was actually somewhere else. That's part of why it's always important to look at those tubes on ultrasound.
Don't mean to worry you, but letting you know there are other possibilities to watch for.

Thanks so much for all the prayers and positive words. I just got my bloodwork and my HCG is 93 so apparently I lost it. I am very sad right now. This was our last try so I guess we will have no biological children. I only had 4 tries on my insurance and I have used them all and there is no way we can afford IVF out of our pocket. It was nice to get to know all of you and I wish all of you the best!!!!
Hey Ruthie, sorry to hear about your lost. Today I also got my second u/s and they didn't find my baby. My hcg went from 3000 to 500. I have cried my eyes out and feel so hopeless. I did bleed on monday but was not a lot the doctor didn't seem concerned since they saw a sack and a yolk. Ruthie your in my prayers.

Girls i am so sorry for your loss, after going thro. 2 m/c recently from 6 attempts i know how ye feel and it is devastating. My heart breaks for anyone esp. those going thro. ivf as its a bigger hurlde again to go thro. a loss and i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. The only consulation (which i know is hard to hear right now) is that you got pregnant, everytime i get upset i keep telling myself that and it kinda helps. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Its TRIPLETS!!!!
Ruthie You had one little fighter there. In my chemical cycle my first beta was 18 and it went down from there. But your little one hung in there. I am so sorry to hear your news. You will be in my prayers. Just like Gi said, at least you know you can get pregnant. My Dr. told me with my chemical, it is usually a chromosomal problem and there is just nothing we can do about that. When you prduce so many eggs unnatually they are often not the best eggs. With my PGD, out of 13 embies, we cold only use 4. The other 9 had some major issues. I know none of that helps the pain, but sometimes it helps to have some answers.

Ruthie - Sending tons of ((Hugs)) your way. So sorry that this one didn't work out. Is there anyway you can change insurance plans and get more coverage. That is my plan if my 4th cycle doesn't pan out. My current insurance only covers 4 cycle due to IL state mandate. So I am going to change to a PPO insurance that my employer offers and that will get me some more benefits. Just a thought if you didn't know. I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Ruthie, sending you warm hugs, stay strong but don't give up. i have had to fund my ICSI since I started, in your part of the world, the opportunities of getting funding in one way or the other is high, so please gather yourself and look for what options are available. God will do it in his own way and own time, who knows; it may even come naturally.
Best of Luck
