SUCCESS AFTER MISCARRIAGE

Post by jaydentd »

I just turned 28 and dh is 25. I have hypothyroid diseases which is under control and insulin resistance and dh has low count. We did our first cycle with icsi which ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks. I'm heart broken and scare to try again. This was my first pregnancy and I just want to know of any success after going through a miscarriage. This was paid out of pocket and we can afford to try one last time.

Sorry to hear that.

Success after a failure happens all the time. If you get multiple miscarriages, your clinic may want to run genetic tests. They might even want to run them now, but the tests are not cheap so most wait for more than one miscarriage. Perfectly fertile couples have miscarriages fairly often, too, so one mc does not automatically indicate a major problem.

Do you have any frozen embryos remaining?
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

SUCCESS AFTER MISCARRIAGE

Post by jenniemar »

Hi jaydentd, I'm sorry for your loss. I too went through the first IVF cycle and found out I have a missed misscarriage at 9weeks. I will be going for the D&C this week. This was also my first pregnancy, I am going to try again in a few months with the frozen transfer. I have heard many success stories with additional cycles of IVF. Good luck in what you decide.
