Question for Ghost (or anyone else) - Low E2 7DPER

Post by rsdrisco »

Ghost - I just had E2 bloodwork results from 7DPER and it came back at 132. The nurse said they like it above 200, so I am going to start taking some estrogen pills twice a day.

Question 1: What is the significance of the E2 levels during the 2ww in IVF cycles? What does it do...how does it interact with Progesterone?

Question 2: With my E2 bloodwork coming back low, does that mean my chances of IVF success this cycle are lower?

Some studies have found the estradiol supplements don't improve outcome in IVF cycles. It seems it does reduce bleeding.

My clinic also uses the 200 criterion, and we supplement to keep it above that level. But we really don't know if it's beneficial to keep it that high.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
