Did my AF mess up my cycle?
It's been awhile since I did IVF, and I think my AF screwed me up this month! Here's my conundrum: My visit to the RE at the IVF clinic is Nov. 17. I got AF EARLY, and so the appt. will be the 6th day of AF. Don't you usually start suppression meds on the 2nd or 3rd day of AF? Will I probably be waiting till next month now? I'm confused ...

Yes I think you might have to wait until your next AF to start your cycle... Is this your first time going to this clinic? Because usually they just tell you to call on your first day of full flow AF so they can schedule you in for 3rd day blood/sono and let you know if you start BCP's or not.
You can probably call them and let them know AF came early and they can probably schedule you in for a water/sono and stuff for the mock transfer because I think there are set days where you can do that in your cycle. This way you don't have to worry about doing that next month.

Call them for sure and tell them your cycle started...this is what they usually ask you to do...as you can't always predict when it will start. Hopefully they can start you this month.

Hi,
My doctor strated the IVF treatment (supression) just after AF. I was day 4 or 5 in the cycle. What happened was that when the estradiol went down, I had another AF (2 AFs during the same month). So I guess every doctor has his own way how to tackle this. I suggest you discuss it with him.
