for dawn

Post by Juliana »

Hi dawn,
i was wondering how you are doing, we are only a few days apart, arent't we, so you must have had your 12 weeks scan? I think i saw a posting from you somewhere on the the threads but cannot find it now. How are you feeling? I've been quite ok except for crushing headaches which have been coming quite frequently now (14 weeks 4 days). But time is passing a bit faster now that I am over 12 weeks, so that's great.

hihi juliana, i certainly can relate to bad headaches, i was getting at
least 3 a week, even going to sleep in a dark room didnt help.
I did go to the docts, as headaches can be brought on by high blood
pressure, but my BP was fine and told me not to worry.
Hope u are not working too hard and getting plenty of rest !!!!
take care alisonn

Hi Alisonn,
i am glad to hear hrom you, I seem to remember you had worries about blood pressure. Mine is quite low actually, last time i had it measured it was 90/70, but it does not bother me much apart from some dizzy spells sometimes. But the headaches are something else. Do you still have them? How is your pregnancy going, how far are you?

it was a rather hilly course, and i was rather exhausted, but i feel
the excercise is good, i just wonder what the little one thinks, everytime
i swing the club........hes probably saying (what is going on there mum
just trying to get some sleep !!!!).
I cant believe u are now 14 1/2 wks its just so amazing all this dont u
think, have u put on much weight, must admit my bump showed quite
quickly and now i struggle putting sox's and shoes on, heven knows
what it will be like later !!!!

Hi hi Alisonn,
wonderful that you played golf, I've been quite inactive given my 'old' schedule which used to include weekly yoga and a jog once or twice a week, I miss the movement, but since I had bleeding twice I just don't date to do much except walk. talking about what the little one thinks, when i had my last scan one of mine was asleep and the doctor asked me to cough and she/he jumped! I was startled how much my every movement made them move! Then again some women don't even see them for a while so i guess it's ok for the babies to bob along with us.
as for my bump, I was quite ok till last week and now i cannot get in my old clothes any more, lucky my dp has some nice pants which have the same size but with a man's waist, so i've been living in these. I think i've put on about 2 kilos so far, seems within norm although i worry the twins might need more food, yet i cannot eat too much at once or i feel too heavy and impossibly bloated, do you have this problem?
hope your headaches do not come so often, mine are almost every day now and i am so fed up with them!
love,
juliana
