I posted with the Nov/Dec group, but thought I'd try here as well. DH and I do not have insurance coverage and this is alot of $$$ to do IVF w/ICSI. I am still needing some meds and wonder if anyone who has BFP has any leftovers... please feel free to PM me.
I hate to be a mooch, but also want to be resourceful. I think I'm walking a fine line...
Thank you, ladies in advance!
Me - 32 - no issues

1st IVF - Jan 2010 - BFP! - Gorgeous girl arrived 10/08/10!!
Wish I could help...but be sure to ask your clinic for samples they get from the pharma reps. I got some from my clinic from my first fresh cycle. Tell them you are paying out of pocket. That's how I got mine. Good luck, hon'!

Ask your clinic if they have any you can have. Often patients will donate their extras back to the clinic.
Maybe too late for this idea, but your clinic or another nearby might have a study ongoing. These often include a lower price for services and/or some free meds.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Make sure you do ask for samples - I had to pay out of pocket also and we ended up paying $1,700 and still needed more medication so they gave us two or three of the additional meds free from patients that donated what they had leftover.

Riley-want to throw another option out at you-because my clinic had "promised" samples but couldn't deliver when the time came-We paid just under 25 thousand for our precious little boy-and that was only 1 cycle (I got lucky) but right after I that I hadn't found this site yet-I would have donated my meds to other women in need-but I did find a website called freegaragesale.com-where I did sell the rest of my meds at a next to nothing price. I know this site doesn't support this but I also know the agony of infertility and wanted to tell you another place to check out. Best of Luck to You!!!!!
