Greetings All!
It's a dreary wet day here in the ATL.
Okay, so, they retrieved 11 of which 8 were mature, 6 fertilized [ICSI], but 5 progressed. We did a 2d transfer [w/assited hatching] with all 5 because the womb is a better incubator not to mention provides more nutrients than the laboratory peteri dish. The big news was that all 5 were grade 1 or 2 with minimal [less than 10%] fragmentation. This is much better quality than our last cycles. Monday I'll go in for progesterone reading then the Monday following Thanksgiving I'll have the beta. Fingers crossed.

10bear-fingers crossed for you. Sending you PMA sprinkled with baby dust.

Akua-How are you doing?

Thank you butterflykiss for the well wishes and luck. How are you and DH getting on?

Wishing all well.

Catherine congrats on a smooth and bountiful tx! I hope you see 2 lines with huge beta # :)

Hubbymand and I are well. I am expecting my period anyday now as I had my precursor headache at work last night :? We are going to keep ttc until the IVF cy starts. Would be nice to get a miracle before we go this route and I am also very eager to start the IVF process. Money is slowing being added to the BF (Baby Fund) and my prayers are being heard by God :D

Hi to everyone else!

Blessings.

Hi Catherine,

That is a great news for the fertilization and embroy quality. Well. I have BFN

So we will try again probably in FEB. May I ask you what is your day 3 FSH level and Estrogen level for this cycle. the reason is when I talk to my RE regarding DHEA, she said she's afraid that will impact my Estrogen level that may lead to over stimulation. But when I ask her why my fertilization rate is so low, she has no clue other than we did not do the ICSI. So.........

Best wishes to you

Greetings and pure baby blessings ladies,
I just stopped by to give another quick update and I have some good news. This morning I went to the clinic to get my PG bloodtest and within a few hours I got a very excited call from the nurse stating that the test came back POSITIVE!!!!!!  YAYYYY!!!! I want to jump thru hula hoops and do a cartwheel but I don't know how! Yes I am officailly pg . I can't believe it after so long it finally happened. Prayer really does work. The nurse said my BETA was around 280. (is that good?) I had to stop taking the progeterone vaginal pills last week because they made me break out into a horrible rash with hives and swelling and itching all between my legs and traveling up my crack of my butt. I called the RE and he said dont worry about it because I really don't need the suppositories because my body was making enough progesterone on its own. Thank god because I was in so much discomfort and scratching so bad that I was tearing the skin! Anyway, Im mostly healed down there now with some occasional scratching but its going away each day. I have so much to be thankful for and now I just continue to pray that this pregnancy continues to go as planned and that me and the baby get thru it with flying colors and no complications. Thanks for all your prayers and baby dust Catharine! Oh and in one of your last posts you said that I was officially a POPU or in PUPO or something like that.. what does that mean? LOL, I have no clue.

Akua totally ecstatic!

Akua: Congrats on your BFP!

Catharine: Good luck on getting your BFP! If just seems like yesterday that you decided to try again.

10bear: I'm sorry to hear your bad news. Keep up the positive attitude.

My 45 year old good friend just had her baby last week. She got pregnant naturally!! Another friend (41) just got her BFP after having an HSG x-ray. That is how I got pregnant at 42 with my Andrew. He is a handful right now, but a wonderful addition to our lives. I can't imagine life without him.

Hello to everyone else.

Regards
Tammy

10bear :( I am so very sorry. I think ICSI will help if there is a male factor causing your IF ((((hugs)))) Be gentle with yourself over the next few days.

Akua congratulations!!! :D You must be over the moon! How's the view from there? ;) Your beta # is high and who knows you could have 2 in there ;) Prayers indeed work!!! Oh and PUPO=Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise  You are!

CarolineP hello! :)

Tammy congrats to your friend! :D She gives us all hope! We are dx with male factor so I am still trying to aid hubbyman's swimmers with FertilAid  Congrats to you on your son! It must have been like a dream when it happened :D

Thanks to this group hope is alive in me that it WILL happen for us.

Blessings.

Greetings Ladies!

Akua-congratulations! I'm so happy for you :D

I want to thank you all for your support. I'm over halfway through the 2ww and as always its difficult. It will be interesting to see how this weekend goes as we are traveling up to my parents and they have no idea and nor will we tell them. But somehow we will have to get the PIO shots done w/o being found out. I keep hoping that I'll just know through some early sign that the embies have nestled in and started developing. All I have are a few twinges here and there. Thankfully, my progesterone levels are where they should be and all we can do is wait till Monday, tst day.

Happy Thanksgiving!
