I forgot to tell you I'm taking 2mg of Estrace too.. Does that affect the HPT????

No. That's another steroid, similar to progesterone. Entirely different stuff.

hCG is a dimeric protein. It has two arms, an alpha arm and a beta arm. The alpha arm is the same as for TSH, FSH, and LH. The beta arm is unique to hCG. That's why the test is for the beta arm only, and patients post questions like "What's your beta?"

Ohhh I always wondered what the BETA was?? thanks for answering a future question - hopefully

that makes sense - I think I'm now out of questions.. I'll keep you posted when I have my BW on Friday.

The only meds that could interfer is the HCG trigger shot. But I would assume that is out of your system now. So if you have the the line you are preggers dear!

P.S. I was shaking so hard too handing my DH the stick that I threw it at him.

LISA- I still can't beleive that I can see the positive sign on my HPT !! I have it on desk at work wrapped in a papertowel and I look at every half hr I think LOL !!!!
