Ghost, high beta only 10dpt3dt

Hi Ghost-

So im only 10dpt3dt and my beta is 143!!!!!

my RE mentioned 2 ----3 ??????

They did trans 3 embies.

Ok im a bit freaked out!

At my clinic that would be higher than most. Could easily be a multiple. Can't tell until the ultrasound.

However many there are, when it's that high, it will usually make it to live birth.

Congrats on your BFP! I think you stand a good chance of multiples!!!! You can look at my siggy for my betas with my twins. When is your ultrasound? Good luck and enjoy your BFP!

I go back in on monday for another blood draw.

How early can they do an u/s to see the sac's? I know no heartbeat until week 6.

Can they do an U/S this early and will the sac's show up??

At about 5 weeks the sac can be seen. Sometimes a bit earlier.

That's about 2-2.5 weeks after transfer.

At about 5 weeks the sac can be seen. Sometimes a bit earlier.

You really have to hang in there to the u/s. I had beta #1 of 960, #2 was 3000 and #3 was over 7000. But there was still only 1 there. Our nurse mentioned multipules too, but we only put 1 in. Like Jen said, you can have low beta's and twins. Hopefully you will only have to wait a few weeks for the answer.

oh wow... that's crazy about the beta #'s !

But dont worry we will be more than greatful with just one little baby!

Any symptoms at all before your beta?
I go for my beta tomorrow 10dp5dt, only transferred 1 frostie. POAS was BFN on Sat:( I have no symptoms other than sore (.)(.) but I know that can be from the meds. I am so sad.

about 4 days after et, i felt like i was getting the flu. but never got a temp or so, and i was super tired for like a day or so. it only lasted for the day. s

ive had not so sore boobies, ive had more sore boobies when AF was coming. they are slight sore, but i think its from the PIO.

but on the wed before thanksgiving 7dpt3dt i started to get MAJOR GAS! I felt like a whale and still do! And some what constipated, but again i think thats r/t PIO shots. But the weird thing is that for a few days and still do i have had pain when i sit down, like in my anus area. (sorry tim) it was like i had to "go" but nothing was there. very unconfortable!!

i've also had mild cramping pretty much this whole time. at first it felt like AF was coming, but then it was kinda dull.

So who knows? the cramping had my worried, but ive never had any spotting?? Im also taking heparin injections too. so my abd and inner thights are super black and blue and extreamly sore!

hang in there!! i was freaking out that my HPT were neg for a while too. I think im having more than one, and hence me getting such high beta's early on? But if you only have one that they trans, they beta might be low and not detected on a HPT!!

have you had any cramping/bleeding?

no cramping or spotting. The only symptom is the sore boobs. I have been pregnant before so I remember what i felt like when I got my BFP but my 1st beta was 920 10dp5dt. That was 3 embies transferred and it ended up being quads, although only 1 made it to live birth. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT ALL 3 TOOK!
I have been watching the Nov/Dec thread but honestly there are so many people in there, I like smaller threads.
