Miscarriage on Thanksgiving

Post by Neffi211 »

Well it looks like another m/c for me. Started bleeding at about 11am and it has been gushing with quarter size clots! I really dont have any hope and this was our last chance so it looks like this is the end of our IVF journey. The only hope left is that possibly I only miscarried one of two? I don't know if I would be bleeding so much even if it was that though. Although I am soooooo devastated, I am releived to know that I am done with all of this. It has been a trying time in my life and I am happy to say that I am at peace with moving on and saving money for adoption in the future. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving....mine could have been better, but I am so thankful for the son I do have, he is my angel and I love him dearly.

I'm sorry Neffie...please take care of yourself and take it easy. God has blessed you with a dear son, and adoption is a beautiful thing. The ability to love another's child as your own is not a gift everyone has ...and it's a blessing to have such a gift from God.

I am going to have an u/s at 10:30 this morning. I know it will be bad news, but it will really hit me when I don't see anything on the screen. I had such a good feeling about this one.....maybe it will be a miracle!

Neffi- I am so sorry, my heart is breaking for you! I know how bad you wanted this and life just isn't fair sometimes. Send me a pm if you need to talk. And I feel the same way, if all I get is Ella, then I am the luckiest girl in the world, but that doesn't mean that we still can't hope for more. My thoughts and prayers are with you, dh and that beautiful little boy of yours. Hug him hard!

Neffi, I'm so sorry my dear. Yes, be thankful for Jackson, but please also take care of yourself, physically and emotionally. Only we know how hard this journey is. Love and bear hugs.

The u/s showed what they think may be a sac, but the image was blurry and she wasnt sure. They didnt seem optomistic, but I am waiting on HCG levels to confirm the m/c. Thanks for all the prayers. Who knows what we will do from here....

Neffi - So sorry for your m/c. I know it sucks and there isn't anything we can do. I am at the same stage "What to do" there is only so much I can do and so much that we can afford. I just hate all of this and sick of it all. Give your little baby a big huge hug and hoping that you can figure out a plan on what to do next. Have you thought of donor embryos? I am wanting to do donor egg but it is so expensive. Donor embryo's would be a lot cheaper. What to do, what to do?

Good Luck
