Yes, that is a great sign and fantastic news. I would not be surprised if you had a biochemical pregnancy combined with a viable (single or twin) pregnancy, and the loss of the biochemical pregnancy caused the brief slowdown in hCG. But we will never know why.
To calculate how far along you are, take the transfer day as 2 weeks plus the number of days of growth the embryos had before transfer. So if they were blasts, call it 2 weeks plus 5 days. Add to that the number of days since then. 2 weeks plus 5 days plus the 20 days after transfer is 5 weeks and 4 days. If that was a day 3 transfer, then it's 5 weeks and 2 days.
Next step is the ultrasound and picking out names.
Congratulations.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Ghost- YAY!!!!!! finally good news!!! my U/S is scheduled for 12/14 (my bday)
I bet your right that makes perfect sense - maybe that did slow things down a bit.. but we'll never know.... things are great now and that's all that matters.... thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on your BFP! You cant tell too much from Beta's. My first Beta was average and then did not double and my RE told me similar as ghost said. That I may have started with two and then one hung around. Third Beta went real high and turns out they are both in there and doing very well! I think I had a late implanter, but who knows..
Congrats again and many blessing to you on this journey!
