mjay- Oh my, i'm so sorry! Your story made me cry. You have been through so much over the last week or so, it must be very scary. I am praying for you and that Baby B will make it through the next few days and then the next few months after that. Stay strong and hang in there. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to PM me. I mean it!
Faith- That's very exciting about your shower. I was thinking about you and wondering how you were doing with that long drive. I'm jealous of your jacuzzi soak! I went swimming at the workout place last week or the week before and it was so nice to feel almost weightless, but the water was frrrreezing, so I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. DH gave up right away and went in the hot tub, which made me jealous because I couldn't go in.
I am so sorry for you and can imagine how scary it all is. It's crazy how fast things can go downhill, yet there still is a possibility of baby B surviving..which is amazing. I don't understand how A can continue to grow without a sac. is there nothing they can do to help the lungs?? Stay strong and I will keep you in my prayers!
May - I'm just soooo sorry for your loss. I have and will continue to pray for your little one. Please let us know how everything goes. And hey, if you need tips on how to handle complete bedrest let me know...I was on it from 6 months, until delivery at 33 1/2 weeks.
Faith - I just giggled hearing about your pregnant cookies. What an original idea! How nice that you have had the shower in enough time to be able to wash and put away everything in time for the little ones. How are you feeling overall?
So...how much weight has everyone gained? I'm up 10 whopping pounds. Hmmm....maybe it was the 3 doughnuts and toffee I ate yesterday.
We have our first snow in Fort Worth this morning. What a beautiful sight! I hope we have a white Christmas!
Ho!Ho!Ho!

Mjay: I have my fingers crossed for you =) Keep positive
Cheryl: I'm not sure how much weight I've gained . . . I know I put on a few going through all the stims and PIO shots . . . From my first OB appointment to now, I think it's around 8 pounds . . . definitely weigh the most now than I have in all my life . . . but it's all good =)
Has anyone else been having some pain on the right side of their pelvis? I read that it's our ligaments and uterus stretching to accomodate baby . . . man, is it uncomfortable!
I have my next 4-d u/s on Dec. 22 . . . 2nd trimester blood test next Friday . . . I hate thsoe icky, scary blood tests . . .
Got our registry all done . . . started to inherit clothing and furniture . . . we're almsot halfway there, ladies
Defttonesmo - Will you have to wait until the 22nd to find out if it's a girl or boy?
I had the round ligament pain early on...seems to get you when you move suddenly - almost like a shot of fire through you. Ugh...I seem to be getting back pain (dull ache) now.
Anyone else still tired in the afternoons?

deftones- I don't have constant pain, but I get shooting pains every once in a while. Good for you and getting your registry done. I don't know when we'll find the time to do it! Hopefully before Christmas, but i'm not counting on it. I don't know when my next blood test is, but I almost wish they didn't even tell me what they were for so that I didn't have to fret about the results for over a week.
cheryl- I can't seem to gain any weight, maybe two pounds and I think it's just all uterus. I still can't seem to get rid of this morning sickness. I'm still on Zofran to help me through the worst of it, but I don't have much of an appetite. It worries me a little, with twins and all, but i've been really trying and maybe the fact that i'm making healthier food choices is part of it.
Mjay- How are you doing? I really hope that baby b is hanging in there. Are you on bedrest?
Does anyone else have major heartburn/acid reflux? Yesterday and the day before it hurt so much, it made me sick. Is there anything we can take? It lasted a really long time. I'm definitely going to stay away from marinara sauce and foods with acid, but I never want to feel that way again.
i haven't kept up with everyone's posts in the last week but from what i have seen i'm so happy everyone is doing ok. i only have two days left until the 7 day milestone and then baby b's chances of survival increase! the more days pass the more positive i feel. i also feel positive b/c there were signs from almost the beginning of the pregnancy that something wasn't right, but i just thought that they were normal things that happen in pregnancy. since all of those signs are gone i know now that it might not have been meant to be for at least one baby from the beginning. i'm just pissed i didn't recognize the signs as symptoms.
faith- i think you asked about baby a's growth with no sac. the doc said that the baby grows b/c it's still connected and getting nutrients from the umbilical cord. but there's nothing that can be done to develop lungs except a miracle from God.
Hello all! May - your little babies have been in my prayers. The 7 day mark is almost here!!
JG - I am still on Zofran for morning sickness as well. My doctor said it's fine to stay on the whole time, and I am beginning to think that is what is going to happen. It is the worst!!!
We found out yesterday that we are having three little boys. I just can't believe it! Of course my husband is over-the-moon and already planning their rise to college football stardom - haha! I am excited too but still getting used to the idea that I won't be putting pink bows on anybody!
Hope you all are doing well and talk to you soon!
Allie
Allie- Oh my goodness! 3 little boys, you're going to have quite the sports team on your hands in a few months. How exciting! Will they all share a room? My b/g twins will share a room, but then again, we only have one extra room, so it's not like I have much of a choice. Let me tell you, it's hard to decorate a nursery for a boy and a girl. I'm not a huge fan of the green/yellow colors, so I have no idea what i'm going to do!
cheryl- just a few more days to your ultrasound! I was going crazy with curiosity at this point, so I hope you have lots of things to keep you busy over the weekend!
Faith- thank you for the site! I am so sick of Sprite, I can't even drink it anymore, it makes me sick to my stomach. I drink sparkling water when I get bored with regular water and that's about it. Pretty boring, so i'm glad I have something new to try!
mjay- i'm so glad you're hanging in there with baby b. Just one more day to make it through and you'll be past a week. You mentioned you had some signs since the beginning that things weren't right, what were they? Hang in there and we'll be right here along with you through those big milestones you have coming up!
AFM- Nothing really to report. I have had people tell me over the past couple days "wow, you look really pregnant now!" and that makes me happy, but at the same time, I think to myself that I have a long way to go and i'm going to get a lot bigger! Yesterday morning, I dropped my hairclip when I was curling my hair and had to stand there and think about how I was going to pick it up since I can't bend at the waist anymore! Anyone taking pics of their bumps from week to week?
JG- Since you work in Palatine and I work in Schauburg...we should totally get together for lunch or an early dinner after work one of these days. let me know what you think and we can exchange info.
Mjay - Hope all is well and you are glad it is Saturday and your 7 day mark is here. I wish you all the best.
JG - I feel the same way, getting bigger and actually hearing that you look pregnant, although for me it is mostly my DH that comments, since I am hiding in baggy clothes at work still, makes it all the more real. I still have not felt fetal movements and my OBGyn said it could take another 4 to 5 weeks, but I sometimes have flutters I assume are not indigestion. That also helps me.
AFM - I had my 16 week appt. this week and the ultrasound was quite bad. My doc said that is normal at this stage and goes away. Worst pics are at 16/17 weeks, apparently. I also had my contractions monitored, which I thought was a bit early. Anyway, my DH was eager to find out the sex and I asked the doc. Of course, the baby decided it was not time yet and crossed his/her legs exactly at the time we were trying to find out and then swam away. I guess it was not yet meant to be.

CHeryl: Yep, we have to wait until the 22nd to find out the sex . . . and, of course, that's only if baby co-operates . . . and since my kid has been a prankster thus far, I'll believe it when I see it
Lucky: I think your baby and my baby would be great friends . . . my baby too has been trying to hide his/her sex since 10 weeks =)
I took the bold step of sending a wish list out to our family for christmas gifts . . . usually, our family gives us cute little knick-knacks and starbucks gift cards . . . cute stuff, but this year I told them that all we really want this year is diapers and wipes =) never too early to start =)
deftonesmo - I like the idea of diapers and wipes. My DH asked me the other day if we should start buying diapers on sale when we see them. I found that in Germany they actually have a diapers program where you can be gifted a year supply of diapers in varying sizes delivered to your house once per month. I thought that was an interesting idea.
