Mjay - Wondering how you and baby are doing. Hopefully no news is good news, and you're having a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

Oh! If anyone is needing maternity sweaters, I went to Gap Maternity yesterday and all of their sweaters are buy 1 get 1 free! Yippie!!!

Faith- For sure, let's meet sometime for lunch or after work!

mjay- You hanging in there? I hope we're on to the next milestone. I know this must be so hard for you right now, but stay strong.

Lucky- i'm also not sure if the flutters that i'm feeling are really the babies, but it's been getting more noticeable, so i'm assuming it's them. Right now I can tell them apart because baby A is on my right side and baby b is on my left.

deftones and lucky- I know what you mean about the diapers and wipes. I clip coupons and look for deals all the time. Deftones- over the weekend, I was at Target and they had a special on diapers, if you buy two packs, you get a $5 gift card. DH and I have been keeping our eyes out for those deals even before IVF, so we've racked up quite a bit in giftcards and we have diapers piled in our basement almost all the way to the ceiling! With twins, I think we'll need a lot more! We plan on buying a bouncer or swing with the giftcards.

cheryl- tomorrow's the big day! I hope that little baby cooperates fully! I told my mom that if the babies didn't cooperate this time, I was going to go to one of those 3d ultrasound places and just pay to have it done! In hindsight, i'm glad I didn't have to spend the money, but I was just so desperate to know! How people manage to have the patience to wait, I'll never know! :D

Hi Ladies,

First the good news - we're having a little girl! We couldn't be happier.

Now the bad news - she has a heart defect that will require surgery once born. This type of defect is common with Down's. We had an amnio this morning and will know by Friday. Of course our hearts are broken, but are happy the heart defect is fixed by surgery. If she has Down's, we only pray her health would not be affected as a result (Down's has an increased risk of health-related problems).

Hope everyone else is okay. MJay??? Worried about you and the little one...

hey ladies!

this is my goodbye. i went into labor on friday and delivered both babies on saturday. they were boys. even though we are extremely devastated, this has been an experience that i will cherish forever. we got to hold them both and baby b was born alive so he moved for us. i am so proud to be their mom, even if only for a short time. i really believe that nature and God know what is best and this just wasn't the best for my body. at the same time, i'm confident that we will be able to have more children in the future. dh's testosterone levels have improved dramatically, which impacted his low sperm count. i will be checking in with you when i feel stronger.

stay positive and happy. i hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season.

love,

mykel

Cheryl-

Congratulations of your little girl! I'm sory the scan didn't come back 100% positive, but yes it is wonderfull that it can be corrected with surgery. We have our anatomy scan this afternoon and will hopefully find out the sexes as well as the health of our 3.

Mjay - My heart goes out to you and your DH. This has to be so heartbreaking. It onyl reminds us how volatile life really is.

Cheryl - Congratulations on your girl! I will keep my fingers crossed that she does not have Down's Syndrome and that you can truly fix her heart condition with surgery. Keep positive.

Hi all,

Our appt went went. They are waiting 3 more weeks to do the full anatomy scan, but they took a look, did measurment and told us that we are having 3 girls!! At first I really wanted a mix, but I think 3 girls being able to share everything will be awsome. We are very blessed and excited!

MJAY - So heartbroken for you. What a wonderful and special moment that you were able to hold your son. Your attitude is inspiring!

Well ladies, it seems that our board is thinking PINK! How great! We are naming our little girl Brooke Carole.

I cried so much yesterday learning of Brooke's heart defect and possibility of Down's. For some reason though God has given me peace. I just feel that she doesn't have Down's and her heart defect will be corrected by surgery.

We could get the call as early as tomorrow, but most likely Friday.

I hope this board doesn't see any more heart aches. It seems we've had so many.

gi- I hope that they are able to tell you something with the test results. I'm always so happy when you pop in, please keep it up and keep us posted on your journey.

cheryl- Congrats on your little girl! I love the name that you picked! We're going with Charlotte Grace for our girl and Bradley Mark for our boy. Hang in there. I have a few friends that have had babies that are just born with a heart defect and no downs and they fly through surgery and are normal little kids right now. I'm sure that this is all there is to it and your little baby will be just fine.

deftones- You are so funny, I just laughed and laughed when I read your post about rhyming names. I'm still laughing about that. I think we're going to register at Target too. And probably Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby, we'll see. Are you planning on registering soon? I hope to get to it this weekend, but my best friend's wedding is next weekend and i'm the MOH, so she might have things for me to do, so we'll see.

Faith- Yay for 3 little girls! Adorable! You are going to have the best time. Awww, how cute is that!

ladybug- Wow, we do have a lot of little girls on this board! Congrats on your little girl too!

Okay, so is everyone having crazy dreams? My dreams have been so crazy these days. I have been having dreams about breastfeeding, dreams about going into labor early, just all kinds of things. I've had vivid dreams since the start of pregnancy, but just in the past few weeks they've been more about the babies.
