Out of Curiosity.... Please answer?

If we continue to have some of the same difficulties we had previously, then we may move on to injectibles and an IUI. I'm just curious, for others who used injectibles and an IUI:
--- what drugs did you use? What dosages, and how often did you take them?(e.x. 300 once daily, 150 am & pm, etc)
---Did you use a trigger shot?
---If you ovulated, what CD was it?
---Was your treatment successful?

amberlin - I did only one cycle over a year ago with IUI with injectables. I used folistim and did trigger shot also. I don't remember what days. My cycle was unsuccessful , I only have one fallopian tube so I went straight to IVF after that. The success rate for me was alot less with IUI than with IVF.

I have done many medicated IUI cycles. My first experience, I did 3 cycles, with injectible Follistem, IM injection daily, one time a day (don't remember dosage); Ovidrel for trigger shot. I got pg on 3rd cycle and had a daughter. Later, I did 8 medicated IUI's, same meds, and never got pg. I did IVF in 2008 and had a daughter on my first attempt.

I started my IUI's about 2 and a half years ago, so I don't know doses or anything. I did 3 natural IUI's. Then 2 clomid cycles w/ HCG triggers, 1 clomid and follistim w/ HCG trigger cycle which was cancelled due to too many follies. Then 2 more clomid, HCG trigger only cylces. All were not successful. We then quit for a while, started the adoption processes. hit a wall with that, then saved up some money and decided to try IVF. First cycle of IVF was a chemical pregnancy and FET was a success.
