ghost- H1N1 shot

Hi Ghost Long time no talk.. Well it's been confirmed by U/S that tomorrow I'll be 7 wks PG !! YAY..very long journey.. doing IVF for 2 1/2 yrs... but now I'm concerned of the swine flu shot and regular shot during my first trimester. What do you think ? My RE said i could get the swine flu shot now and then wait a month to get the regular flu shot and she also said do not get the nasal one... any advice?

Im not ghost, but i am an ICU rn. and your doctor is right! you dont want to get the live virus H1N1, the one up your nose!

but you need (well its up to you) but should really get the h1n1 vacine ( the shot)

If a prego person get the h1n1, it can be extreamly deadly for us.

teehhee sorry wasnt trying to be baby ghost!

I think all women who are prego or planning to get prego its so important to get protected! The last thing any health woman, (or any person for that matter) needs is to be in an ICU stuck on a vent ( the breathing tube) or stuck on an ECMO machine (that's a by pass machine for your lungs and or heart.)

I can't stress enough for all to get protected. We all are going through IVF and spending tons of money. Not to mention the emotional aspect!!

It would be silly for us not to protect our selves and our babies!!
