Ghost or anyone,
I had a 5 day embryo transferred 9 days ago(well actually they transferred at around 1pm and I tested at 7am). We did PGD to screen for cycstic fibrosis. I was supposed to have my beta test this Monday, 17dpo, but I asked to move it up. Have been having no symptoms and was convinced it wasn't going to work. The nurse warned me that with PGD, the levels are low to begin with and coming in on Day 9 would be early so that my test on Friday might not be conclusive. She was right, the beta today was 5.67. She said that there is still a chance, because of the PGD and next test could show a 20. But even that seems low to me. Is there any shot that I am still pregnant with an HcG level this low 9 dp5dt? Does PGD really make that much of a difference?

Makes sense that the hCG would be a little lower following PGD, although this is the first I've heard of it in practice.
These low ones usually don't work out, but sometimes they do. If PGD played a role in making it lower by slowing the embryo's development, then maybe that makes the low hCG less relevant. But I don't know that.
Best of luck to you.
